A Civilization on the Verge of Collapse

02:40 The Entebbe Rescue Mission (5 minutes)

In this segment, I follow up on yesterday’s show about the Entebbe rescue mission. I discuss the impact the mission had on Herbert W. Armstrong, and read some listener feedback in response to the show. Continue reading

Is a Second Civil War Coming?

Civil wars are horrendous and bloody affairs. That’s why we should avoid them.  They happen when two sides cannot settle on who runs the country.  When they can’t reconcile the matter through elections, the country falls apart.  When one side does not accept the election results, we have a countdown to a civil war.

This is the thesis put forth by journalist Daniel Greenfield.  It rings true on many levels. Continue reading

Disunited America

Prior to the Democrats becoming the anti-American political party of Identity Politics, whites, blacks, and Puerto Ricans could laugh at themselves and at one another. Dean Martin turned a roast, in which good humored fun is poked at a prominent person, into mass entertainment. That blacks were equal opportunity targets was testimony to the success of black entertainers and athletes. In the humorless world of today, these roasts would be considered “hurtful,” “offensive,” and “hate crimes.” Continue reading

Explaining the Fall of Western Society As We Know It

https://d33wjekvz3zs1a.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Sixth-WaveECM.jpg

QUESTION: Western Civilization will collapse by 2032.

I didn’t expect such a strong comment from you.

Specifically, what does this mean?

On the level of ancient Rome? Followed by the dark ages or just mediocrity and the rise of the East? Continue reading

Leaked Wikileaks Doc reveals US Military use of IMF, World Bank as “unconventional” weapons

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DyBmsFnWoAEhkvP.jpg

WASHINGTON – In a leaked military manual on “unconventional warfare” recently highlighted by WikiLeaks, the U.S. Army states that major global financial institutions — such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) — are used as unconventional, financial “weapons in times of conflict up to and including large-scale general war,” as well as in leveraging “the policies and cooperation of state governments.”

The document, officially titled “Field Manual (FM) 3-05.130, Army Special Operations Forces Unconventional Warfare” and originally written in September 2008, was recently highlighted by WikiLeaks on Twitter in light of recent events in Venezuela as well as the years-long, U.S.-led economic siege of that country through sanctions and other means of economic warfare. Though the document has generated new interest in recent days, it had originally been released by WikiLeaks in December 2008 and has been described as the military’s “regime change handbook.” Continue reading

Why Has Emotion Replaced Reason in America?

The answer will surprise you.

“Facts are stubborn things.” That’s what American founding father John Adams famously said. But in modern America, facts are not so stubborn, and you don’t get famous by clinging to them. You get famous by being stubborn with your emotions. In modern America, more stubborn than facts, truth and logic are emotions, feelings and “personal truth.”

Historian Niall Ferguson described the phenomenon in this week’s Sunday Times, writing, “We no longer live in a democracy. We live in an ‘emocracy,’ where emotions rather than majorities rule and feelings matter more than reason. The stronger your feelings—the better you are at working yourself into a fit of indignation—the more influence you have.” Continue reading

The Wagner Group is the same quasi-independent mercenary group that was routed by U.S. forces in Syria last year.

Russia has reportedly doubled down on its support for Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro by sending “security contractors” to Caracas to provide protection for the dictator. Continue reading

Reports on the ground say smaller-scale demonstrations that began on Jan. 21 began to spread on Jan. 22 with protests erupting in more than 60 neighborhoods across Caracas and in interior states. Continue reading

1916: “The First Step Towards Internationalism Is to Break Down the Nation”

Some things never change, it’s true, especially in the affairs of nations. But if we forget, or never knew, or never understood the immutable nature of the fundamental debate over our character and destiny — of the fundamental threat to our character and destiny — we certainly are at risk of losing both.

By chance, I came across a remarkable editorial from the Chicago Tribune, back when probably it really was “the world’s greatest newspaper.” It is titled “Nationality and the Yellow Campaign” and I have posted it below. Continue reading

Dmitry Rogozin, the head of Russia’s Roscosmos State Space Corporation, who served as deputy prime minister until May 2017, said Thursday that rising tensions between Republicans and Democrats were leading to a breakdown of U.S. society. This included the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), one of many federal agencies affected by a government shutdown due to an inability for the rival U.S. parties to agree on funding for a border wall proposed by President Donald Trump.

“I think that America is actually engulfed by its second civil war now,” Rogozin told the Rossiya-24 TV channel, as translated by the state-run Tass Russian News Agency. Continue reading

Police Funding Themselves by Confiscating People’s Property

https://d33wjekvz3zs1a.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/George-1778-Tory-Confiscation-Note.jpg

The government is using Civil Asset Forfeiture to simply rob people. The numbers are in for Texas along. The police department stole $50 million in confiscations during 2017 when nobody was ever charged with a crime. They hat to publish these numbers because they know they are doing something unethical. They seize property and it is the PROPERTY that is PRESUMED to be guilty. The burden is on you to get a lawyer and pay all the expenses to try to get your property back. You will not be reimbursed for the legal fees so they know they just get away with it. This is part of the financial crisis we are in that will ultimately lead to revolution and the collapse of the United States probably in the aftermath of 2032. Continue reading

Populism and paralysis in the West

By spring 2019, ‘our politics will be even more poisonous than now’

Is it coincidence or contagion, this malady that seems to have suddenly induced paralysis in the leading nations of the West?

With lawyer-fixer Michael Cohen’s confession that he colluded with Donald Trump in making hush money payoffs to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, America’s stage is set for a play that will run two years. Continue reading

A tiny Chinese microchip may have infiltrated numerous American governmental and military systems, giving insight into how several specific Bible prophecies could come to pass.

It isn’t hard to imagine a time in the near future when great numbers of Americans take to the streets. Maybe the trigger would be another divisive presidential election, with half the nation refusing to accept four more years of an administration they loathe. Maybe the trigger would be impeachment hearings or a particularly controversial decision by “Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court,” such as restricting abortion.

Whatever the spark, it isn’t hard to imagine America’s intensifying domestic tensions exploding into mass riots. Continue reading
