His comments at the United Nations come after reports the U.S. has devised several plans to unseat the government of Nicholas Maduro.

Following his speech at the United Nations General Debate on Tuesday, President Donald Trump was asked about his comments regarding Venezuela and the recent levying of new sanctions against members of President Nicholas Maduro’s government and family. Continue reading

Meyssan: What Donald Trump Is Preparing

https://i1.wp.com/www.voltairenet.org/local/cache-vignettes/L400xH300/199834-5-1c78e.jpg

When the backwash from the blades of the Presidential helicopter blew a Marine guard’s cap off, Donald Trump picked it up and put it back on his head.

After having observed Donald Trump’s historical references (the constitutional compromise of 1789, the examples of Andrew Jackson and Richard Nixon) and the way in which his partisans perceive his politics, Thierry Meyssan here analyses his anti-imperialist actions. The US President is not interested in taking a step back, but on the contrary, abandoning the interests of the transnational ruling class in order to develop the US national economy.

The problem

Obama Cyber Chief Confirms ‘Stand Down’ Order Against Russian Cyberattacks

Former Obama administration National Security Council cybersecurity coordinator Michael Daniel confirmed on Wednesday that a “stand down” order was given to counter Russian cyberattacks during the 2016 election.

During a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, Sen. James Risch (R., Idaho) asked Daniel about a passage in the book Russian Roluette. The passage was about a staffer from Daniel’s team, Daniel Prieto, retelling the time that Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice told Daniel and his team to halt their efforts and to “stand down” in countering Russia’s cyberattacks. Russia Really Is America’s No. 1 Enemy – Depending on Who ‘America’ Is

https://www.strategic-culture.org/images/news/2018/04/29/or-40680.jpg

US-Russia enmity is here to stay. Cold War II is a fact of life for the foreseeable future. The only questions are where, when, and how it might turn hotThat didn’t happen in Syria this past Friday the Thirteenth, for reasons yet to be explained. But the danger is by no means gone.

Rather, the threat of a major war will continue to intensify as President Donald Trump continues to stack his team with GOP retards who diametrically oppose his oft-repeated desire to improve ties with Moscow. Whether or not his desire is genuine is irrelevant. With each new appointment to the National Security Council and the State Department the Russophobic critical mass grows.

Personnel is policy. The door to rapprochement is being nailed ever more firmly shut Continue reading

Middle East military heavyweights Israel, Iran on collision course over Syria

In this photo released by Lennart Preiss/MSC 2018, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, holds a part of a downed drone during his speech at the Munich Security Conference, MSC, in Munich , Germany, Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018. (Lennart Preiss/MSC 2018/dpa via AP)

Iran and Israel are on a collision course over Tehran’s expanding footprint in Syria, raising the odds of a direct clash between the region’s two military heavyweights that could quickly draw in other combatants.

With Iran and Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement, Iran’s most potent military ally, emboldened by their success in upholding Syrian President Bashar Assad, Israel is growing more and more wary of being attacked by missiles not just from southern Lebanon but also from inside Syria.

Israel has been sporadically bombing Hezbollah positions in Syria for the past three years. But the situation reached new heights this month when what Israel said was an Iranian armed stealth drone was intercepted and downed over Israel and an Israeli F-16 fighter jet was in turn shot down by anti-aircraft fire from inside Syria during a retaliatory airstrike. Anti-Trump Leak Campaign Damaging U.S. and Allied Operations

U.S. official: Leaks of classified info by former Obama officials endanger American security operations

A new wave of leaks targeting the Trump administration has actively endangered ongoing intelligence and military operations being conducted by the United States and its allies, sparking anger and concern inside and outside the White House, according to multiple conversations with senior U.S. officials intimately familiar with the situation.

The classified leaks, which are being handed to sympathetic journalists by former Obama administration officials who left the government and by holdovers still serving in the Trump administration, have damaged a number of ongoing operations, ranging from American efforts to prevent Russian infiltration of the United States to Israeli efforts against ISIS, sources said. World Leaders Gather in Beijing While the US Sinks into Irrelevancy

The United States is fractured and permanently scarred with very little diplomatic room to maneuver, and as the article states, doesn’t even know it. We’re looking at a new world shaping up within the next 10 years… a new world without the United States having a voice in its affairs. This is an unprecedented new chapter in world history that the old order doesn’t recover from. If you’re an American, get used to second or third-rate living standards and all the problems that come with it.

To add clarification: President Trump has a great chance in saving America from ruin, and let’s hope he will. Where he has almost zero chance is in saving it’s standing in the world. An alternative world structure has already been built and members are being filtered in. The ‘on button’ is waiting to be pushed. All that needs to happen is an event, such as global economic collapse, that sets America back and simultaneously provides the new world structure a window of opportunity to spring into first place.

World Leaders Gather in Beijing While the US Sinks into Irrelevancy

While vaudevillian comedy-like shouting matches broke out in the West Wing of the White House between President Donald Trump and his senior advisers and between the White House press secretary and various presidential aides, world leaders gathered in Beijing to discuss the creation of modern-day land and maritime «silk roads» to improve the economic conditions of nations around the world. Nothing more could have illustrated the massive divide between the concerns of many of the nations of the world and those of the United States, which is rapidly descending into second-rate power status, along with its NATO allies Britain, France, and Germany. Trump Directs National Security Council to Review Iran Nuclear Deal

The easiest way of scrapping the deal is to realize there was never a deal in the first place.

Why?

Because Iran never signed any deal, therefore technically, there is no deal… and this is coming from the State Department.

Here is a scanned copy of an actual letter from the U.S. State Department proving this claim is fact:

Donald Trump has directed a National Security Council-led review of Iran nuclear deal.

US President Donald Trump directed a National Security Council-led interagency review whether the Iranian nuclear deal met the US interests, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said in a letter to Speaker of the House of Representatives Paul Ryan. Continue reading

The CIA is going after the most important man in the Trump Administration

A second poison pill, this time hard hitting:

Central Intelligence Agency STILL targeting key Trump allies

(INTELLIHUB) — In the months after the stunning election of Donald Trump, the CIA, with help from other intelligence services, waged a public battle against the president-elect through the anonymous release of disinformation to the establishment backed mainstream media.

Now, almost a month into the Trump presidency, these attacks are apparently continuing with the target being one of the most important people in the entire Trump Administration. Continue reading

Steve Bannon: ‘we’re going to war in the South China Sea … no doubt’

What’s important to note here is the article’s spin, which paints the Trump administration as the war mongering administration, when in fact it’s the opposite. The Trump administration realizes the danger emanating out of China and how it was allowed to rise the last 24 years under the Clinton, Bush Jr. and Obama administrations. Clintons gave them the tech via the U.S. Department of Commerce to modernize the PLA, Bush went to war and both depleted and overstretched the U.S. military while Obama almost finished it off with budget cuts and military purges.

The U.S. military is seriously weak and Trump is doing what he can to bring it back to its once-powerful status. In the meantime, he’s also working with what he was left: A fatigued military in shambles that still might have to go to war with China and in the Middle East yet again. Trump is clearly being set up to be the fall guy.

If you think that America is the aggressor in this case, you couldn’t be more than wrong. It was indeed China who said in 2010 that there will be hand-to-hand combat with America in 10 – 15 years. They, along with Russia, are the ones who want war with America. It was indeed China who said they wanted to exterminate the U.S population. What’s alarming is that they now have the capability to do so, and America now likely doesn’t.

So what you read out of this article, and what you hear from the selective soundbites that don’t give you the whole story, is that the military buildup and tension throughout the last three administrations has reached its peak. America has to prepare for war in defense, not out of war mongering.

What you read here is a deliberate attempt to distort the facts with the goal of undermining the national security of the United States as it turns people with very little discernment into pawns of opposition. The media thinks you are dumb and is preying on you.

The media is indeed the political opposition.

Only months ago US President Donald Trump’s chief strategist predicted military involvement in east Asia and the Middle East in Breitbart radio shows

The United States and China will fight a war within the next ten years over islands in the South China Sea, and “there’s no doubt about that”. At the same time, the US will be in another “major” war in the Middle East.

Those are the views – nine months ago at least – of one of the most powerful men in Donald Trump’s administration, Steve Bannon, the former head of far-right news website Breitbart who is now chief strategist at the White House. Continue reading

World War III has already begun: Cyber-war underway as biggest military build-up continues

While the article is correct in world war already having begun in the cyber theater, it’s wrong about one thing: World War III was the Cold War. We’re moving towards World War IV.

Please see the source for the video.

WORLD War III has already begun in cyberspace, experts said today.

With nations across the globe stockpiling weapons on a scale not seen for decades, 2017 could see the cold war develop into a full scale conflict costing millions of lives.

Already largely due to Vladimir Putin’s sabre-rattling, China’s increasing belligerence and a new USA with Donald Trump at the helm a country as peace-loving as Sweden has been placed on a war footing. Continue reading

White House tells the Pentagon to quit talking about ‘competition’ with China

The White House has barred Pentagon leaders from a key talking point when it comes to publicly describing the military challenges posed by China.

In February, Defense Secretary Ash Carter cited the “return to great power of competition” in the Asia-Pacific, “where China is rising.”

Similarly, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John Richardson characterized China and Russia as rivals in this “great power competition” in his maritime strategy. Continue reading

Obama will bypass Congress, seek U.N. resolution on nuclear testing

President Obama has decided to seek a new United Nations Security Council resolution that would call for an end to nuclear testing, a move that leading lawmakers are calling an end run around Congress.

Top administration officials, including Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, briefed lawmakers and congressional staffers this week about President Obama’s decision to push for the U.N. action this September, to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, which was adopted in September 1996 but was never ratified by the Senate. America’s Outdated Europe Policy: In 2017, the Next President Must Adapt to New Reality

This is precisely why the EU Army, courtesy of Germany’s Fourth Reich, is coming.

A United States of Europe will be replacing the NATO and American presence.

Since the end of World War II, U.S. policy toward Europe has drifted, without deliberate thought, far from its initial premises—while Europe itself has changed beyond recognition. It is time that the U.S. recognized this fact. The incoming President should direct the National Security Council (NSC) to oversee a comprehensive study of U.S. policy toward Europe, a study to be based on the enduring American interests in Europe, the lessons of the post-1945 era, and on the new facts of Europe that have emerged since 1989.
