US Deep State Hits Putin-Trump Summit with Preemptive Strike as Russiagate Fizzles Out

In order to save face over an investigation that has failed to produce a smoking gun regarding charges of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, the US elite have opted to indict Russian intelligence officials for election meddling. Yet the evidence, once again, is missing in action.

Amid harsh criticism at home for its failure to provide proof of Russian collusion in the 2016 presidential election, at the very same time that Trump is preparing to meet with Vladimir Putin for a summit in Helsinki, the US Deep State has resorted to playing spoiler with the most overplayed hand in modern political history: the ‘Blame Russia’ card.

On Friday, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced indictments against 12 members of Russia’s Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff, also known as GRU, for “conspiring to interfere with the 2016 presidential election.” Continue reading

Who Really is the Deep State?

https://d33wjekvz3zs1a.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Conspiracy.jpg

QUESTION:  What is your understanding of the term “Deep State”? Do you think there’s a deep state as it is referred to in the media today? I have come to understand a deep state as meaning the permanent global institutions that are on their directed agenda irrespective of its citizens or their political leaders agendas. The analogy I’ve arrived at is the *deep state* is the global operating system and the political class is merely the *apps*. Deep State could include military, banking, Big Pharma, Central Banks, intelligent agencies – institutions that could care less who the presidents are just as long as they do not interrupt the interests of these operating institutions. More Dots

Interesting Twitter thread from “Lycaon” today. It lays out a series of dots (no better use of Twitter than laying out dots) that connects Clintons, various Trump-Russia actors, and money-laundering. I think Lycaon would do well to re-examine Bill Browder’s  hole-pocked alibi as “anti-Putin avenger” but his inclusion of HSBC, presented by a US Senate committee on July 17, 2012 as a money-laundering entity, and James Comey’s arrival at HSBC as director on March 4, 2013, and then, seven months later, Comey’s appointment as FBI director by President Obama is sequencing worth recalling.

In between, of course, HSBC paid a giant fine in exchange for a clean bill of health. Continue reading

Cybersecurity expert says the information was on a publicly accessible server.

According to a new report, a data leak of personal information has far surpassed the Equifax leaks, and could affect nearly every American.

According to WIRED magazine, cybersecurity expert Vinny Troia has discovered that the Palm Coast, Fla., based data broker Exactis exposed a database with the personal data of 340 million individual accounts onto a publicly accessible server. Anyone who knew which server to look at had immediate access to nearly 2 terabytes of personal data—including the following from an estimated 340 million people and businesses: Continue reading

Big Dots. Do They Connect?

Just came across an intriguing theory about Sergei Skripal, the former Soviet/Russian military intelligence agent who spied for Britain, and, along with his daughter Yulia, was nearly killed this spring by a dose of the nerve agent Novichok in the town of Salisbury, England, where they live.

In a March 21 interview on the John Batchelor Show, Gregory R. Copley, editor and publisher of Defense and Foreign Affairs, posited that Sergei Skripal is the unnamed Russian intelligence source in the Steele dossier.

Copley further explained (or tried to explain) to Batchelor (who kept cutting him off): “The people who wished to see Skripal become quiet were people in Washington, the Democratic National Committee, the Clinton campaign, and people around Christopher Steele himself. I’m not saying necessarily that MI6 or the British government had a witting hand in it, but there are too many people who had an axe to grind to make sure that Skripal did not –“ Continue reading

Media Shock Troops Go Full Pravda

On the left, we have the Time Magazine Pathos Shriek-Out, the photoshopped-in-our-collective-mind’s-eye image of Evil Trump “separating” toddlers from their families — except, of course, that the crying two-year-old (above) was never separated from her mother; and, of course, never met Donald Trump.

Note how Time stands by its propaganda: “Our cover and our reporting capture the stakes of this moment,” Time editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal said. The stakes? Perhaps Felsenthal conveyed more than he intended. Think of it: All “the stakes” that are fit to print. Political warfare in this country is at a risky flash point as the Left intensifies its attacks (including outrageous harassment of Trump officials) on the remnant rule of law undergirding the shredded sovereignty of this nation. What Felsenthal confirms is what we already know: The news media are not covering this political warfare; they are themselves shareholders in what is at risk — “the stakes” — and have made themselves special operators in the psychological battlefield. Chinese government hackers have compromised the computers of a Navy contractor, stealing massive amounts of highly sensitive data related to undersea warfare — including secret plans to develop a supersonic anti-ship missile for use on U.S. submarines by 2020, according to American officials.

The breaches occurred in January and February, the officials said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation. The hackers targeted a contractor who works for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, a military organization headquartered in Newport, R.I., that conducts research and development for submarines and underwater weaponry.

The officials did not identify the contractor. Continue reading

Signs of sophisticated cellphone spying found near White House, U.S. officials say

A federal study found signs that surveillance devices for intercepting cellphone calls and texts were operating near the White House and other sensitive locations in the Washington area last year.

A Department of Homeland Security program discovered evidence of the surveillance devices, called IMSI catchers, as part of federal testing last year, according to a letter from DHS to Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) on May 22. The letter didn’t specify what entity operated the devices and left open the possibility that there could be alternative explanations for the suspicious cellular signals collected by the federal testing program last year. Some Provocative Thoughts from Bukovsky

Vladimir Bukovsky has been giving some pretty interesting Russian-language interviews lately.

Earlier this month, he spoke with Kiev-based112 Ukraine TV. Below is an excerpt from the English translation by Alissa Ordabai that should get some attention.

Dmitry Gordon: You recently said, “If two ballistic missiles were launched at Lubyanka, the level of terrorism worldwide would drop by 80 percent.”  What did you mean by that?

Vladimir Bukovsky: The thing is that a huge part of the world’s so-called terrorism is being organized by Lubyanka (the popular name for the headquarters of the FSB on Lubyanka Square in Moscow – translator). They control Islamic terrorism, ever since the war in Afghanistan when they were supporting the most extremist parts of the Afghan resistance, people like Gulbuddin.  You wouldn’t remember these names.   Continue reading

Bill Gertz Explains Chinese Spying on America and American Industry: ‘It’s a Three-Pronged Threat’

Washington Free Beacon senior editor Bill Gertz explained the scope of Chinese spying on American industry Wednesday on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

“It’s a three-pronged threat. You have traditional spying. Right now in Alexandria (Virginia), there are two ex-CIA officers who are under investigation or being prosecuted for spying-related activities in China,” Gertz said. “Then you have the cyber threat, and this is a massive theft of technology from both the government and the private sector. ‘Time to rip off the Band-Aid’: Reports point to FBI spy in Trump campaign, MI5 involvement

The FBI appears to have successfully inserted a spy into the Trump campaign, reports say.

“When the FBI talks about a source, they talk about someone who is an average citizen who uses their credentials, their job as a way of spying for the agency,” the Wall Street Journal’s Kimberley Strassel reported.

“We can take that to mean that there was somebody interacting with the Trump campaign and reporting back to the FBI, which means the FBI was using human intelligence to spy on a presidential campaign.” Continue reading

A federal grand jury in Virginia has indicted former CIA operations officer Jerry Chun Shing Lee for conspiracy to spy for China, in a case that has been under investigation for more than six years.

Federal officials say the case represents one of the most damaging spy cases in the CIA’s checkered history of losing recruited agents to foreign spy services.

Mr. Lee is believed by American intelligence and law enforcement officials to be the cause of the agency losing a large number of its recruited agents in China around 2010. The agency and FBI spent the next eight years trying to find out the source of the losses. Continue reading

He’s back: Author of Russia-Trump ‘dossier’ has same target, new funding

https://i2.wp.com/www.worldtribune.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/csteele-1.jpg

Christopher Steele’s “dossier” was opposition research on Donald Trump that was financed by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

A Democrat-financed group has reportedly secured $50 million to hire former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele to continue his investigation of President Donald Trump and his alleged ties to Russia.

The drama surrounding the “dossier” by Steele and its unconfirmed information continues 17 months after the election as does the aggressive investigation by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller. Continue reading
