EU Threatens to Remove Poland’s Voting Rights

Dictatorial Brussels disagrees with internal Polish laws.

The European Parliament is “getting close” to removing Poland’s voting rights in yet another clamp down on national sovereignty.

Article 7 would suspend Poland’s voting rights, essentially castrating the country as an EU member state.

It states: “The sanctioning mechanism allows the Council to suspend certain rights deriving from the application of the treaties to the EU country in question, including the voting rights of that country in the Council. In that case the ’serious breach’ must have persisted for some time.”

But it’s not the first time Poland has felt the full force of the EU’s not so lovely liberal attitude – Brussels told Poland to take in migrants or leave the bloc, another infringement of a country’s independent decision making.
