Secretary of Defense James Mattis on Wednesday called on North Korea to stand down in its pursuit of nuclear weapons or risk taking actions that would “lead to the end of its regime and the destruction of its people.”

“The United States and our allies have the demonstrated capabilities and unquestionable commitment to defend ourselves from an attack,” Mattis said in a statement. “Kim Jong Un should take heed of the United Nations Security Council’s unified voice, and statements from governments the world over, who agree the DPRK poses a threat to global security and stability.” Continue reading

(VERO BEACH, FL) The warning messages began on April 20th according to a Pyongyang resident who spoke to Radio Free Asia, and it advised Korean-Chinese residents to return home amid concern that Kim Jong-un’s recent threats may entice a U.S. preemptive strike on North Korea.

“The embassy has never given such a warning,” said the unnamed man. “I was worried and left the country in a hurry.” Continue reading

China says North Korea will cross the “point of no return” and face destruction by the U.S. if they carry out a sixth nuclear test

(WASHINGTON, DC) On Tuesday the Global Times published an Op-Ed with these ominous words noting that Pyongyang will incur the wrath of the United States if it ignores this warning.

“The game of chicken between Washington and Pyongyang has come to a breaking point,” the Global Times, a nationalist Chinese newspaper managed by the state-run People’s Daily, writes. “If North Korea carries out a sixth nuclear test as expected, it is more likely than ever that the situation will cross the point of no return.

All stakeholders will bear the consequences, with Pyongyang sure to suffer the greatest losses,” the outlet warns. Continue reading

White House Prepares For Trade War, Warns US “Will Not Be Bound By WTO Decisions”

In the latest warning from the White House that it is set to unleash trade policy that will be in sharp conflict with generally accepted trade norms, most likely a reference to some form of Border Adjustment Tax, the Trump administration has warned that the U.S. isn’t and won’t bound by decisions made at the World Trade Organization, in outlining a new trade agenda that “promises to root out unfair practices by foreign countries” and to escalate what are already simmering trade conflicts. Since taking office last month, U.S. President Donald Trump has pledged to get tough with Iran, warning the Islamic Republic after its ballistic missile test on Jan. 29 that it was playing with fire and all U.S. options were on the table.

“The enemy should not be mistaken in its assessments, and it will receive a strong slap in the face if it does make such a mistake,” said General Mohammad Pakpour, head of the Guards’ ground forces, quoted by the Guards’ website Sepahnews. Continue reading

Chinese state media tells Donald Trump’s team to ‘prepare for military clash’

Remember a few things about China and what it has previously said:

  1. In Febuary of 2010, China warned there will be hand-to-hand combat with the United States within 10 years.
  2. It doesn’t care about Taiwan. Preparations for war with Taiwan are actually preparations for war with America:
    1. “The central committee believes, as long as we resolve the United States problem at one blow, our domestic problems will all be readily solved. Therefore, our military battle preparation appears to aim at Taiwan, but in fact is aimed at the United States, and the preparation is far beyond the scope of attacking aircraft carriers or satellites.” – Chi Haotian, Minster of Defense and vice-chairman of China’s Central Military Commission
  3. China’s main goal: The extermination of America.

The CCP has mastered the art of provocation while creating the perception it’s the victim.

The US should “prepare for a military clash”, a state run Chinese tabloid newspaper has warned.

Less than 24 hours after US Secretary of State nominee Rex Tillerson appeared to call for a blockade of South China Sea islands, a strongly-worded English editorial in the Global Times accused the former Exxon Mobil chief executive of “rabble-rousing”.

He “had better bone up on nuclear power strategies if he wants to force a big nuclear power to withdraw from its own territories”, the paper, which is known for writing hawkish editorials, said. However, despite being state run, it does not necessarily reflect government policy. Continue reading

NHS chiefs warn that hospitals in England are on the brink of collapse

Theresa May urged to boost funding or ration care to head off escalating cash crisis and avoid ‘1990s-style decline’

The body that represents hospitals across England has issued a startling warning that the NHS is close to breaking point because of its escalating cash crisis.

Years of underfunding have left the service facing such “impossible” demands that without urgent extra investment in November’s autumn statement it will have to cut staff, bring in charges or introduce “draconian rationing” of treatment – all options that will provoke public disquiet, it says. South China Sea War: China Threatens Australia to Keep ‘Peace’

China has issued a blunt warning against Australia, asking the nation to keep itself out of the South China Sea dispute.

Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop commented on China’s decision of slamming The Hague verdict. She said on Wednesday that the Asian nation must respect the UN ruling. “To ignore it would be a serious international transgression,” she added. Bishop also confirmed that Australia will continue patrolling the Sea while enjoying its freedom of navigation exercises. Continue reading

Britain’s departure from the European Union has ignited a new push to reshape Europe. Headlines are appearing almost daily warning about the rise of a “German superstate” and a more integrated, core group of European nations. To students of Bible prophecy, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. For over 70 years, Herbert W. Armstrong warned about a coming united Europe with Germany at the helm. The Bible explains that Europe will soon be cut down to a union of 10 kings who will give their power to Germany. On today’s show, listen to Stephen Flurry discuss how rapidly these prophecies are being fulfilled. Continue reading

In case you missed it last week:

The next financial crisis is coming, it’s a just a matter of time – and we haven’t finished fixing the flaws in the global system that were so brutally exposed by the last one.

That is the message from the International Monetary Fund’s latest Global Financial Stability report, which will make sobering reading for the finance ministers and central bankers gathered in Lima, Peru, for its annual meeting. Continue reading

US warns Russia against more aid to Assad amid new violence

BEIRUT (AP) — Anti-government violence erupted Saturday in a southern Syrian province that had largely stayed on the sidelines of the country’s civil war. Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports suggesting that Russia was planning to expand its military support for Syrian President Bashar Assad prompted a warning from the U.S. that such actions could lead to a confrontation with coalition forces.

The violence in Sweida province, a stronghold of the Druze minority sect, followed the killing of a prominent cleric in rare explosions Friday that claimed the lives of at least 25 others, activists and pro-government media said. Rioters holding the government responsible for the cleric’s death destroyed the statue of late Syrian President Hafez Al-Assad and besieged security offices, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and other activist groups said. FBI On High Alert For Fourth Of July Terrorist Attack

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The FBI and Department of Homeland Security are asking Americans to remain vigilant to the threat of a terror attack over the Fourth of July weekend.

The FBI is setting up command centers at its 56 field offices across the country, including the one in Minnesota.

Although officials say there is no credible threat, the FBI is reacting to a call to arms by ISIS for mass murder during Ramadan.

Messages from the Islamic State, calling supporters to arms against Americans during the Fourth of July holiday, is one reason the FBI put out a warning. Continue reading
