The US military said Tuesday it had intercepted a mock-up of an intercontinental ballistic missile in a first-of-its-kind test that comes amid concerns over North Korea’s weapons program.

WASHINGTON – A Russian military satellite launched in March has made at least 11 close approaches to the rocket upper stage that released it into orbit, according to a spokesman for the U.S. Air Force.
Such maneuvering capability is consistent with, but not necessarily indicative of, an on-orbit anti-satellite weapon.
Air Force officials previously said they were closely watching the satellite, and independent space tracking experts and policy analysts have joined the vigil. The maneuvers started in April, and the most recent occurred in early July, experts said, adding that in at least one case the satellite appears to have nudged the upper stage to a higher orbit. It was only just last June when Russia pulled its nuclear bombers up 50 miles away from the California coastline.
Most would think “So what?” Well, here’s what… Should they be armed, they don’t even need to be 50 miles or 200 miles away. Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco will be erased in minutes by nuclear-tipped cruise missiles. There is absolutely no defense against that.
As America has bought New Lies for Old and fallen for the Perestroika Deception, it has been lulled into a false sense of security. It will only take one such military operation disguised as a “training exercise”, as we’ve now witnessed several times, to carry out a successful first strike. Perhaps this is also why the Pentagon is preparing a cruise missile shield to protect itself from Russia, which may be too little and too late.
Then you ask “Yeah, but what about the American nuclear deterrent?” Well, here’s what: It’s still ran on floppy-disk era electronics and the missile silo crews have seen attrition and corruption like never before. They’ve also been plagued by cheating scandals, purging and the deterrent risks being hacked as well. Not to mention random SNAFUs and security test failures. There are simply two many cracks showing which indicate the American nuclear deterrent is in crisis and close to being fully compromised.
From an objective POV, Russia is clearly nearing checkmate (first strike) capability and the sword is coming to America. It’s increasingly difficult to argue otherwise.
Russian nuclear-capable bombers intercepted near West Coast in second U.S. air defense zone intrusion in two weeks
Two Russian strategic nuclear bombers entered the U.S. air defense zone near the Pacific coast on Wednesday and were met by U.S. interceptor jets, defense officials told the Free Beacon.
It was the second time Moscow dispatched nuclear-capable bombers into the 200-mile zone surrounding U.S. territory in the past two weeks.
An earlier intrusion by two Tu-95 Bear H bombers took place near Alaska as part of arctic war games that a Russian military spokesman said included simulated attacks on “enemy” air defenses and strategic facilities. Continue reading
Prepping for war in orbit, the military is honing tactics and building a new center to coordinate defense and development.
The Pentagon and intelligence community are developing war plans and an operations center to fend off Chinese and Russian attacks on U.S. military and government satellites.
The ops center, to be opened within six months, will receive data from satellites belonging to all government agencies, Deputy Defense Secretary Robert Work said Tuesday at the GEOINT symposium, an annual intelligence conference sponsored by the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation. Large-scale U.S. military exercises held as Russia re-opens Arctic naval base
An Army rapid deployment force will practice securing the Pentagon’s strategic missile defenses base in Alaska this week as part of annual exercises involving both conventional and nuclear forces.
Defense officials said an Army Quick Reaction Force (QRF) of 55 airborne troops, along with weapons and vehicles, will parachute into Fort Greely, Alaska, on Thursday as part of exercises called Vigilant Shield.
The QRF, made up of highly-trained, extremely mobile forces, will quickly unpack vehicles and arms and move to set up a security perimeter around the Ground-Based Interceptor (GBI) field at the base—all within minutes of hitting the ground, said officials familiar with some details of the exercise. Analyses of images captured by Gaofen-1 have enabled Chinese police to locate fields of opium poppy and marijuana in northern China and uncover dozens of routes used by smugglers at the border with North Korea and along the frontier in the restive Xinjiang region, the official New China News Agency reported Monday.
