A hypothetical war between China and Japan started by Beijing would involve devastating cyberattacks, missile barrages and secret weapon DF-21D “carrier killer” missiles, according to a scenario outlined by defense and security blogger Kyle Mizokami in US magazine The National Interest.
In such a scenario, Beijing would likely strike first. While China has not seriously prepared for a war against Japan, the People’s Liberation Army should have sufficiently analyzed Japan’s strengths and weaknesses to draw up a plan of attack on short notice. Mizokami envisions such a strategy to start off with a surprise attack from with PLA’s Second Artillery Corp using a “barrage of ballistic and cruise missiles” to “degrade Japan’s ability to defend itself.”
The situation grows more complex once the US actively involves itself defend Japan, but Mizokami believes the PLA has the firepower to deal enough damage to US forces to force Washington to “cut its losses, throw Japan under the bus, and sue for peace.” Continue reading
Just as China-Japan relations had begun warming up, Japan reported on Dec. 6 that five Chinese military aircraft were observed flying over an area between Okinawa’s main island of Okinawa and Miyako island. The five aircraft are believed to have been capable of posing a threat to Guam, according to a military expert.
Chinese military commentator Li Xiaojian said the jets may have departed for the Western Pacific to take part in a large-scale naval and air combat exercise, in which Chinese naval ships also participated. This also signals that China has the joint combat capability of combining its naval and air power. Continue reading
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran has fielded a “massive” number of new long-range missile launchers, state TV reported Sunday.
The new weapon components delivered to Iranian military units would allow them to “crush the enemy” with the mass simultaneous fire of long-range surface-to-surface missiles, Defence Minister Gen. Ahmad Vahidi was quoted as saying. Continue reading
A hawkish Chinese general has possibly opened a Pandora’s box on territorial disputes in East Asia by saying that the Ryukyu Islands including Okinawa do not belong to Japan.
Luo Yuan, a People’s Liberation Army two-star general, has said that Japan could not rightfully claim sovereignty over the islands, because they had started paying tribute to China half a millenium before they had done so to Japan. Continue reading
In summary, the overall theme suggests a catch 22. Should America become proactively involved, our bases will be hit. Should Israel be hit, there is no escaping any spill-overs as US bases will still take the hit since the Iranian regime is bent on wiping the entire state of Israel off the map.
It’s no secret they have the missile capability in the middle east and even on the American homeland via hundreds, if not thousands of sleeper cell networks discussed here numerous times. What defensive measures (including offense as the best defense) are already set and what they are capable of achieving is yet to be seen.
What’s more, the Iranians know the exact locations, as pointed out in the following article portions:
Six American military bases in Israel will be destroyed by Iranian missiles should Israel attack Iranian nuclear facilities, the Islamic regime is warning the United States.
“American military bases in the occupied territories are considered secret and most of them are underground,” the diplomat said. “These bases are known by codes ‘Base 51,’ which houses ammunition, ‘Base 53,’ which is located in an Israeli Air Force base, ‘Base 54′ is a hospital close to Tel Aviv used in emergency situations, and bases ’55′ and ’56′ are used as ammunition and armaments reserves,” he said.
The diplomat said another base is in the West Bank, built by a German company to house American armaments.
As reported by the Washington Times last December, the Revolutionary Guards had warned that any U.S. involvement in an attack on Iran would result in a missile attack on all U.S. bases in the region and terrorist attacks on U.S. interests worldwide, including in America. However, the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, had earlier announced that should America stay out of any conflict with Iran, it will be safe.
The Basij report, however, directly warns America that even should it not militarily support an attack by Israel, its military bases within the Jewish state will be targeted.

The website itself is a crock, but the list is really worth considering. Here’s number eight:
8) Sleeper Agents Launch A War Along US Mexico Border
According to the US Congress, quoting US intelligence officials, Iran has set up an elaborate gun smuggling network within Mexico and has used Hezbollah to infiltrate the Mexican Drug Cartels. After the United States attacks Iran these agents quickly launch attacks along the Mexico border. The cartels are more than happy to provide foot soldiers for the war because instability means more drugs entering the United States and more profits.
Soon a sophisticated network of Hezbollah narcotunnels along the border are used to wage attacks on several US law enforcement and civilian control agencies. The resulting turmoil also weakens the agencies inside of Mexico fighting the cartels with the assistance of the US. Soon the destruction of various targets along the border bring the entire area under the control of the drug cartels and Iranian Hezbollah agents and the entire US Mexico border turns into an uncontrolled war zone.
