Tu-95s intruded into U.S. air defense zone
Two Russian nuclear-capable bombers were intercepted by American F-22 jets near Alaska on Saturday, the North American Aerospace Defense Command disclosed.
The bombers were detected flying near the Aleutian Islands, said Michael Kucharek, a spokesman for the Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). Continue reading

China Reveals Images of New Hypersonic Strike Aircraft
Ultra high-speed vehicles shown for first time on state-run television
China has disclosed the first images of secret hypersonic strike aircraft that are being developed to deliver nuclear warheads through U.S. missile defenses. State-run CCTV on Oct. 8 broadcast images of four different vehicles or missiles that U.S. intelligence agencies believe are mockups of hypersonic strike vehicles, including one known as DF-ZF.
It is the first time images of the hypersonic aircraft were made public. Continue reading
China gears up for missile warfare with US

An Illustration of the hypersonic glider’s flight path and maneuvers
China’s military is developing offensive and now defensive missiles in preparation for a future missile-dominated conflict with the United States.
Beijing’s arsenal of ballistic and cruise missiles has been growing steadily for decades as new systems were fielded in an array of ranges – short, medium and intercontinental. Several long-range cruise missiles, capable of carrying nuclear or conventional payloads also are deployed.
And one of China’s most secret missile programs is a revolutionary hypersonic strike vehicle that skims the upper atmosphere and can maneuver in a bid to defeat U.S. strategic defenses. Continue reading
PLA flaunts strategic missiles of its Rocket Force

A music video from the new People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Rocket Force released on a Chinese military TV channel on 13 February featured images of new missiles.
The video featured a new version of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) DF-16 medium-range ballistic missile, likely called the ‘DF-16B’, which carries a new biconic terminally guided and manoeuvring warhead. It is similar to that seen on the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) DF-15B short-range ballistic missile (SRBM). Continue reading
China Again Tests Nuclear Hypersonic Missile
Sixth flight of DF-ZF glide vehicle indicates weapon a high priority for Beijing
China carried out a sixth flight test of its new high-speed nuclear attack vehicle on Monday designed to defeat U.S. missile defenses or carry out global strikes.
The ultra-fast maneuvering strike weapon known as the DF-ZF hypersonic glide vehicle was launched atop a ballistic missile fired from the Wuzhai missile test center in central China’s Shanxi Province, according defense officials. Continue reading
China Conducts Fifth Test of Hypersonic Glide Vehicle
Maneuvering missile takes evasive actions
China this week carried out another test of a new high-tech hypersonic glide vehicle, an ultra high-speed missile designed to deliver nuclear weapons and avoid defenses.
The latest test of what the Pentagon calls the Wu-14 hypersonic glide vehicle was carried out from the Wuzhai missile test range in central China. The test was judged successful, according to defense officials familiar with details of the event.
Additionally, officials said the glide vehicle, which travels along the edge of the earth’s atmosphere, demonstrated a new capability: evasive actions.

Current U.S. defenses are designed to track missiles that travel in predictable flight paths and are unable to counter maneuvering warheads and glide vehicles. Continue reading
Russia Tested Hypersonic Glide Vehicle in February

Moscow follows China in seeking maneuverable high-speed missiles
Moscow is developing a new, ultra-high speed strategic attack vehicle similar to China’s hypersonic weapon, according to military analysts.
However, unlike high-profile strategic bomber flights and large-scale nuclear war games that U.S. military commanders have called provocative, details about the Russian hypersonic vehicle remain one of Moscow’s closely held military secrets.
The Russians have been developing the new Yu-71 vehicle for several years and conducted the most recent flight test in February, according to an article published this month in Jane’s Intelligence Review.
A Pentagon spokeswoman declined to comment on the Russian hypersonic test. Continue reading
China Preparing for Drone Warfare
Bear in mind that China has for years now the rights for over 90% of the entire rare earth minerals, globally. China is also an industrial and manufacturing powerhouse that make it possible, when these two factors are combined, to crank out hundreds of thousands of widgets.
If you have ever wondered how an attack could be like a cloud covering the land as described in the book of Ezekiel 38, this is how.
The sword is being sharpened and coming.
PLA plans to build 42,000 UAVs, Pentagon says
China’s military plans to produce nearly 42,000 land-based and sea-based unmanned weapons and sensor platforms as part of its continuing, large-scale military buildup, the Pentagon’s annual report on the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) disclosed Friday.
China currently operates several armed and unarmed drone aircraft and is developing long-range range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for both intelligence gathering and bombing attacks.
“The acquisition and development of longer-range UAVs will increase China’s ability to conduct long-range reconnaissance and strike operations,” the report said. Continue reading
Russian bomber conducts practice strikes on U.S. missile defenses in Asia
A Russian bomber recently carried out simulated cruise missile attacks on U.S. missile defenses in Asia, raising new questions about Moscow’s goal in future U.S.-Russian defense talks.
According to U.S. officials, a Russian Tu-22M Backfire bomber on Feb. 26 simulated firing air-launched cruise missiles at an Aegis ship deployed near Japan as part of U.S. missile defenses.
A second mock attack was conducted Feb. 27 against a ground-based missile defense site in Japan that officials did not identify further.

The bomber targeting comes as Russia is building up forces in the Pacific by modernizing submarines and building a spy ship specifically for intelligence-gathering against U.S. missile defenses. Continue reading
