Pentagon: China Threatened to Bankrupt Defense Contractor

Not only is espionage in the form of technology theft a serious issue, but the Chinese have also been manufacturing microchips Americans use [i.e. Huewei smartphones — founded by a PLA engineer on behest of the CCP (See also HERE)]… and it’s not limited to the average American consumer, but the U.S. military as well.

Incident involving jet fighter logistics highlights aggressive Chinese cyber espionage

A U.S. defense contractor was threatened with bankruptcy by Chinese hackers seeking jet fighter logistics secrets, according to the Pentagon’s Joint Staff.

A report earlier this month by the Joint Staff’s J-2 intelligence directorate revealed that the American contractor, a company involved in classified defense work, was threatened by Chinese hackers, according to Pentagon officials familiar with the report.

The Chinese demanded access to the company’s intellectual property, and said unless the company secrets were provided, China would steal the data, reverse engineer it, and then sell it internationally in a bid to force the company into bankruptcy.

According to the annual report of the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, Chinese cyber espionage is a “major problem” for America

China has gained military benefits in recent years from stealing defense secrets through industrial and cyber espionage carried out by its intelligence services, according to a US congressional report.

“In recent years, Chinese agents have extracted data on some of the most advanced weapons and weapons systems in the US arsenal, such as jet fighters and unmanned submersible vehicles,” states the annual report of the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, released on November 16.

“The loss of these and other sensitive defense technologies undermines US military superiority by accelerating China’s military modernization and giving China insight into the capabilities and operation of US weapons and weapons systems,” the report adds.

Pentagon Warns of Chinese Arms Dominance

Essentially after decades of radicalizing Islam (See also HERE), the Soviet Union had achieved its goal in distracting America instead focusing on the enemy behind the enemy: Today’s neo-Soviet Union along with China, creating One Clenched Fist.

Russia had bode its time and stuck to its long-term objective of taking out America while it has squanders all resources, time, effort, money and lives on chasing terrorists around with an endless supply of human replacements in the pipeline.

What’s more, in today’s times, even the attention of Americans is now being taken off Islam and focused on NWO conspiracy theories and red herrings by people like Alex Jones, — who likely is on Russian payroll — where ironically nobody can identify a single individual.

 

‘Alarmed’ at PRC buildup over last 15 years

China’s development of precision weapons and other advanced capabilities has undermined U.S. military superiority, the Pentagon’s senior weapons developer told Congress on Wednesday.

“We’re at risk and the situation is getting worse,” Frank Kendall, undersecretary of defense for acquisition, said.

Kendall singled out China’s military buildup as a major worry, noting that in 1994 the communist state was assessed by U.S. intelligence agencies to be a backward military power, but one that would be more advanced in 10 or 15 years.

He also noted Russia’s increasingly threatening military posture.

Pentagon Concerned by China’s New High-Speed Missile

China’s recent test of a new ultra-high speed strike vehicle highlights growing concerns that Chinese military advances will overtake those of the United States in as few as five years, a senior Pentagon official told Congress Tuesday.

Frank Kendall, undersecretary of defense for acquisition, technology, and logistics, said during a House Armed Services Committee hearing that he is concerned by large-scale cuts in U.S. defense spending that are undermining efforts to maintain U.S. military superiority.

“On hypersonics, this is a good example of an area of technology that is going to move forward whether we invest in it or not,” Kendall told a hearing on the United States shift toward Asia. “China is doing work in this area.”
