Easter ‘Blood Moon’ to turn sky red this weekend – but was it predicted in the Bible?

Only God knows what the future holds with Blood Moons. However, don’t be surprised if you wake up on Easter Sunday to the news of a sham Iranian ‘nuclear deal’ being reached. It will threaten Israel’s existence and endanger the world over. Perhaps it will be something else, such as a market crash the following Monday, or maybe nothing at all. It’s in God’s hands as he is in full control at all times.

This is not to say the end of the world is coming and the sky is falling — because it’s not –, however, Blood Moons are not a coincidence or a crackpot conspiracy. Whether one believes it is to their benefit or detriment. Like a watchman, Global Geopolitics only warns that the sword is coming and it’s not an issue of ‘if’ but ‘when’. The rest is on you. Get your house in order and get right with God.

Blood Moons are indeed Biblically tied:

Genesis 1:14

Joel 2:30-31

Matthew 2:1-2

Matthew 2:9-10

Matthew 24:29-30

Luke 21:11

Luke 21:25-28

Revelation 6:12-17

Revelation 8:12

Revelation 16:8-9

Blood Moons—Do They Fulfill Bible Prophecy?

The moon is set to turn blood red this weekend in an event some pastors are claiming was predicted by the Bible as a sign of Christ’s return.

The ‘Blood Moon’ is a rare celestial event which will see the skies over North America, Asia and Australia be transformed into a deep, red colour. Continue reading

French analyst calls for France-Germany-Russia alliance

For those that follow Bible prophecy, this could fulfill the vision found in Daniel 2.

The analyst stressed that the tripartite bloc “will be the only chance for Europe to get rid of the United States protectorate and become, in the words of General de Gaulle, a ‘Free Europe’”

PARIS, February 20. /TASS/. France and Germany, following the historical tradition, should work on forming an alliance with Russia, prominent French writer and political journalist Eric Zemmour said in newspaper comments on Friday. Continue reading

Germany Wants European Army

Such an army would fulfill Bible prophecy

But is having Germany in the driver’s seat of a European army cause for concern?

On October 30, German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen signed a declaration of intent on German-Polish cooperation with Polish Defense Minister Tomasz Siemoniak. This declaration of intent is not limited to training drills but provides for “placing combat battalions under the other’s command.” After the agreement, von der Leyen’s ministry declared the “German-Polish cooperation is a trendsetting milestone for the development of European integrated military structures.”

Hans-Peter Bartels, the chairman of the German parliament’s defense committee, left no doubt as to the final destination of all these additions. “The hour has come, finally, for concrete steps towards a European army,” Bartels told Die Welt.

The signs are there for all to see: This will be an EU army under strong German control. Continue reading

Pope Says Church Should Stop Obsessing Over Gays, Abortion

On 9/11 of this year, Pope Francis had also declared to athiests that you don’t have to believe in God to get to heaven.

He couldn’t be more contradictory from lessons and warnings within the written word of God (Bible) that he is sworn to live and lead by. Here are a few examples:

  • 1 Timothy 1:19-20
  • Titus 1:16
  • 2 Peter 2:1-3
  • Revelation 2:20-22

Under this pope, is without question and now official that Apostasy has entered the Vatican/Roman Catholic Church, today’s Holy Roman Empire — among many others.

Pope Francis said the Catholic Church shouldn’t be “obsessed” with preaching about abortion, gay marriage and contraception and should instead try to reach out to a broader congregation.

“It is not necessary to talk about these issues all the time,” Francis told the Catholic publication, La Civilta Cattolica. “We have to find a new balance; otherwise even the moral edifice of the Church is likely to fall like a house of cards, losing the freshness and fragrance of the Gospel.” Continue reading

America’s Days in Afghanistan Are Numbered

Does the title of this post sound surprising to anyone? It shouldn’t. Even President Obama has stated his administration’s goal is to have all US combat troops out of Afghanistan by the end of 2014. Given the recent tragedies in Afghanistan, much public, political and media pressure is coming to bear on the Obama administration to get the troops out of Afghanistan by the end of 2013, if not sooner.

There were two tragedies, but the second one has dwarfed the first one. The first tragedy was when a highly-trusted Afghan executed two Americans who were working in a highly-guarded facility where only Americans, NATO allies and the most trusted Afghans are allowed to enter. One of the “most trusted Afghans” turned out to be a Taliban agent or sympathizer, and not only executed two Americans, but even got away unapprehended! The second tragedy was when an American soldier went from Afghan home to home and killed 17 Afghan civilians in cold blood, the majority of which were children. The first link, printed soon after the second tragedy, made the observation that it was a “fatal hammer blow to the US military mission in Afghanistan.” The source sounds like a leftist one, but I think that judgment is accurate. So do many others. The second link, from USA Today, cited Democrat Bob Beckel and Republican Cal Thomas as agreeing that the Afghan war “isn’t working,” a comment just short of stating it is a lost cause.

Put yourself in the positions of an American stationed in Afghanistan and an a Afghan villager who has just heard that an American soldier willfully killed Afghan civilians, including many children. If you were an American, would you truly trust any Afghan after realizing that even one of the “most trusted” Afghans allowed access to an ultra-secure facility turned out to be a Taliban agent and executed two Americans? I think the answer is “no.” That the killer was able to get away uncaught indicates that other “most trusted” Afghans must have helped him do his deed. Diplomats will say all the right things, of course, but no American will ever look at even their most trusted Afghan counterparts with much trust any more. And as news of the American soldier’s rampage against Afghan civilians spreads from village to village and from tribe to tribe, the Afghans will not look at any Americans with much trust either. This tragedy also highlights the issue that one cannot assign soldiers to endless combat tours of duty and not expect some of them to “snap” in a way which destroys the strategic goals of any war itself. Reportedly, the soldier who did this horrible deed was in his fourth combat tour.

Europe, Iran and Bible Prophecy Come Alive in the Strait of Hormuz!

In addition to history and human nature, another vital asset provides insight into the tension escalating in the Strait of Hormuz. Here at the Trumpet we find it impossible to watch events in the Persian Gulf and not see the prophecy in Daniel 11. In verse 40, God says via His prophet that “at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships ….” Notice first, this event is occurring at the “time of the end,” in the days right before Christ’s Second Coming.

Next, consider the participants in this clash. They are the “king of the south”—the armies of radical Islam led by Iran—and the “king of the north”—the armies of a united Europe led by Germany and the Vatican. You can prove this by reading our booklet The King of the South.

Notice the word “push” in Daniel 11:40. In Hebrew, it means to push at, or to wage war. Think about Iran’s nuclear weapons program, its threat to close down Hormuz, its support of terrorism in Israel and around the world. Theprimary goal of Iranian foreign policy is to “push” and provoke, to aggravate and infuriate.

This prophecy was written 2,500 years ago—and it describes the present situation in the Persian Gulf perfectly!

Daniel 11:40 says that the “king of the north” will react, and eventually with overpowering force! We are beginning to get a glimpse of how this will happen. On Monday, Europe got tougher with Iran than it ever has. Based on Daniel’s prophecy, expect Europe to get even tougher and more confrontational toward Iran!

Keep watching the Strait of Hormuz. And remember, the tension between Iran and Europe is more than geopolitics—it’s an insight into Daniel 11:40!
