Europe: Choosing Suicide?

  • “We need urgent, wholesale reform of human rights laws in this country to make sure they cannot be twisted to serve the interests of those who would harm our society.” — UK Justice Secretary, Chris Grayling, January 2015.
  • Swedish intelligence deemed him too dangerous to stay in Sweden, so the immigration authorities sought to have him deported to Syria. They did not succeed: the law does not permit his deportation to Syria, as he risks being arrested or executed there. Instead, he was released and is freely walking around in Malmö.
  • “It would simply never in a million years have occurred to the authors of the original Convention on Human Rights that it would one day end up in some form being used as a justification to stay here by individuals who are a danger to our country and our way of life…” — UK Justice Secretary, Chris Grayling, January 2015.

After the Manchester terrorist attack, it was revealed that there are not “just” 3,000 jihadists on the loose in the UK, as the public had previously been informed, but rather a dismaying 23,000 jihadists. According to The Times:

“About 3,000 people from the total group are judged to pose a threat and are under investigation or active monitoring in 500 operations being run by police and intelligence services. The 20,000 others have featured in previous inquiries and are categorised as posing a ‘residual risk”‘. Continue reading

Merkel Government Still in Denial

  • Islamic State took responsibility for the December 19 Berlin truck-ramming attack that killed 12 people, similar to the July 14 attack in the French city of Nice, and countless car-rammings in Israel. Now Europeans feel what Israelis live with every day.
  • This month, the police union in the German state of Thuringia issued an open letter to the state’s Interior Minister, describing the crumbling law-and-order situation amid the rising migrant crime: “[You] are abandoning us completely helpless to a superior force… But what changes? Nothing. One instead gets a sense of uninterest.”

  • Chancellor Merkel, Germany’s ruling elites and the media can continue putting a happy face on uncontrolled mass-migration from Arab and Muslim lands, or suppress news reporting on rising migrant crime, but they cannot wish away the country’s deteriorating law and order situation.
  • It should be evident to even a casual observer that her government still does not care about the victims of its own failed “refugee” policy.

Earlier this year, Germany was hit by a series of ISIS-inspired attacks and failed terror plots. Despite that almost all the perpetrators were recent Syrian or Afghan migrants, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in the middle of a re-election bid, has stuck to her claim that there is “no connection” between terror attacks in the country and uncontrolled mass migration from Arab and Muslim lands. BASTILLE DAY MASSACRE ‘At least 60 dead and 100 injured’ as lorry crashes into crowd of revellers celebrating in France ‘terror attack’

Without a question, terror attacks are increasing, especially in Europe. The question for Europe is how many more it can tolerate before it takes an extreme right turn, because it will. This has been repeated and warned about on Global Geopolitics for years now, but is soon going to come to fruition. Right-wing leaders will rise, more attacks will continue. Eventually war will break out against the nation(s) backing the attackers.

Early witness reports describe hearing gunfire as terror fears grow after incident in Nice

AT least 60 have reportedly been killed and 100 injured after a driver ploughed his vehicle into a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day in France.

Witnesses reported hearing gunfire in the aftermath of the incident which happened shortly after 10.30pm. Continue reading

The Orlando Massacre Is Just the Beginning

What is the greatest lesson of the Orlando massacre, where a Muslim shooter killed at least 50 people at a homosexual night club-an event that is now considered the deadliest terrorist attack on U.S. soil since the September 11 attacks of 2001?  It’s that such an attack had to happen-and is destined to happen again.  Why?  Because the surest way of seeing an act occur repeatedly-say a terrorist attack-is to repeat all the same steps that precipitated and paved the way for it in the first place.

Consider: the shooter, Omar Mir Seddique Mateen, was “quite religious” and a pious Muslim (he attended mosque and prayed regularly); he clearly saw himself as a jihadi killing evildoers-he “recited prayers to Allah during the attack,” pledged this sacrifice to the Islamic State, and the latter claimed it. Border Battle: TX agents now looking for terrorists smuggling radioactive material

http://i2.wp.com/www.trunews.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/r-415.jpeg

(TRUNEWS) Texas Game Warden’s have begun training to counter the potential threat that terrorists could use the Port of Houston to smuggle radioactive material into the United States.

In an interview with local news, Tom Harvey, the Deputy Director for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Departments Communications Division, said Friday that “game wardens encounter all kinds of things on their patrols, including a lot of illegal fishing, and this [the threat of terrorists smuggling radioactive material] is a new threat we’re gearing up to be able to address.”

Harvey said that the Port of Houston has for years had radiation detectors to scan cargo, but now “we’ve acquired about a hundred devices that allow game wardens to detect radiological or nuclear emissions. These are little devices that can be worn on someone’s belt.”

Forgetting Castro’s Crimes

Review: Rafael Rojas, ‘Fighting Over Fidel: The New York Intellectuals and the Cuban Revolution’

Between the Old Left and the New Left, between the radicalism of the 1930s and the radicalism of the 1970s, there comes the curious figure of Fidel Castro. A celebrated revolutionary thinker. The absolute ruler of Cuba—and, for a time, the man believed to have finally solved the Communist dilemma: finding a way of being Marxist without becoming Stalinist, creating a fully socialist state that would not harden into totalitarianism.

He didn’t, of course. Soon after it seized power in 1959, Castro’s revolutionary government became a socialist dictatorship, barely distinguishable from all the other Communist states of its time. But the surprising lesson of Rafael Rojas’s new book, Fighting Over Fidel, is how brief was the time, how narrow the window, that serious leftists actually believed in Castro’s exceptionalism. Dick Cheney predicts US will suffer a terrorist attack ‘far deadlier’ than 9/11 before the decade is over

A dated article, yet a bit more relevant to today’s times.

Iran already has thousands of IRGC sleeper cells in America for years now waiting for the green light. They already have targets picked out and are prepared for campaigns against America, inside America. They will settle for nothing less than an American Hiroshima. Iran is just one adversary with such plans.

  • Former vice president believes a terrorist attack even worse than what happened on September 11, 2001 is probable before the end of the decade
  • You can just imagine what would happen if somebody could smuggle a nuclear device and drive it down the beltway outside Washington D.C.’
  • Cheney and his daughter Liz last week announced the launch of The Alliance for a Strong America
  • They’ve promised to keep ‘policies necessary to protect the nation’ in the spotlight
  • In a recent scathing op-ed, they slammed the Obama administration for its handling of the jihadi uprising in Iraq

Former vice president Dick Cheney believes that a terrorist attack even worse than the destruction of the twin towers on September 11, 2001 is probable before the end of the decade.

Cheney appeared on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show on Tuesday and was asked if he thought the United States would ‘get through this decade without another massive attack on the homeland.’

How Safe is the US Electrical Grid?

All it takes is a hit on nine substations, then it’s lights out for America and back into the 1800’s for at least a decade — on top of up to 90% of American lives being lost due to the domino effects.

Throughout history, inexplicable natural phenomena have tended to instill an understandable fear in people. Accounts of the solar storm of August and September 1859 stand out for their tendency toward the whimsical and delighted.

For telegraph operators in the Americas and Europe, however, the experience caused chaos. Many found that their lines were simply unusable—they could neither send nor receive messages. Others were able to operate even with their power supplies turned off, using only the current in the air from the solar storm. Continue reading

FBI On High Alert For Fourth Of July Terrorist Attack

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The FBI and Department of Homeland Security are asking Americans to remain vigilant to the threat of a terror attack over the Fourth of July weekend.

The FBI is setting up command centers at its 56 field offices across the country, including the one in Minnesota.

Although officials say there is no credible threat, the FBI is reacting to a call to arms by ISIS for mass murder during Ramadan.

Messages from the Islamic State, calling supporters to arms against Americans during the Fourth of July holiday, is one reason the FBI put out a warning. Continue reading

TSA Warns of Possible ISIS Attack on U.S. Soil

The Intercept reviewed a notice of the classified alert, which was sent out Friday afternoon by TSA’s Transportation Security Operations Center. A source, who reviewed the classified intelligence warning, described the threat as very general, with no specifics about location or type of attack — just the timing. The alert covers a 48-hour period that began late Friday afternoon. Continue reading

Islam experts: No-go zones looming for America

Back Jindal’s view non-assimilation is trouble because Muslims ‘supremacist at core’

The “no-go zones” in some Western nations, where law enforcement has lost control because of the influence of Islamic law, are coming to America.

That’s according to several Islam experts interviewed by WND who believe the kind of Muslim enclaves that have developed in Europe due to a lack of assimilation will eventually arise in the U.S. as the Muslim population grows.

The contention that “no-go” zones exist is controversial, as evidenced by the widespread ridicule that arose when an analyst said in a Fox News interview shortly after the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack in Paris that the major English city of Birmingham was a “no-go” zone itself.

The analyst apologized, but only for exaggerating his point, not for asserting “no-go” zones exist. Continue reading
