Star Wars? Pentagon Wants to Deploy Space-Based Missiles to Counter Enemy Hypersonic Weapons

Note: Video available on website.

CBN News has learned the Department of Defense is looking into deploying space-based missiles and sensors to bring down high-speed hypersonic missile attacks from China and Russia.

Michael Griffin, undersecretary of defense for research and engineering, said a network of 1,000 missile interceptors deployed on satellite launchers could be built for $20 billion. Continue reading

Trump could reset Star Wars at full throttle toward militarization of space

US Air Force Gen. John E. Hyten’s statement that Russia and China will soon pose a threat to American spacecraft resembles nothing so much as an attempt to justify the militarization of space by the Pentagon, Russian military expert Konstantin Sivkov told RIA Novosti.

Speaking at Stanford University’s Center for Security and Cooperation, the commander of US Strategic Command highlighted the importance of “deterrence in space.” Continue reading

The Defence Ministry said the U.S.-funded Arrow 3 system, jointly developed by state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries and U.S. firm Boeing Co. , was handed over the Israeli Air Force.

The Arrow 3, together with the Arrow 2, which has been operational since 2000, would “significantly reduce the possibilities of ballistic missiles” hitting Israel, the ministry said in a statement. Continue reading

STAR WARS: Russia could use ‘KAMIKAZE’ satellites to attack US spacecraft and EARTH

MOSCOW could use satellites to attack other spacecraft or Earth, senior US scientists and military bosses have spectacularly warned.

In a terrifying scenario plucked straight from the pages of a James Bond espionage thriller, the experts said Russia could use kamikaze satellites to take out vital space infrastructure or “swallow” smaller satellites.

Spacecraft could also be manipulated to attack targets on Earth in a conflict reminiscent of a Star Wars movie. Continue reading

Get Ready, America: Russia and China Have Space Weapons

It was a grave mistake for America to halt Reagan’s Star Wars space program almost 30 years ago. It’s now 2016 and a rapidly-gaining Sino-Soviet axis is attaining first-strike capability on the United States, all while it suicidally disarms and holds the belief that it’s taking the “moral high road”. If it were to restart the program tomorrow, it would still be years behind its adversaries.

Russia and China are increasingly pursuing the ability to attack America’s space-based assets, but is there anything the Pentagon can do to thwart Beijing and Moscow’s ambitions?

While it is sometimes treated as an afterthought here on earth, space-based capabilities like GPS, communications and reconnaissance satellites are the sinews that hold the U.S. military together, allowing American forces to operate across the globe. That’s a fact, however, that has not gone unnoticed in Beijing or Moscow. Continue reading

Space: The Final Military Frontier

Dependence on satellite technology has turned Star Wars into strategic reality.

Right now, unmanned killer robots hover in the skies above the Middle East, ready to rain down death from above on America’s enemies. They are guided by pilots sitting hundreds of miles away, bouncing their instructions off satellites. Smart bombs are guided within inches of their targets using America’s gps satellite-navigation system. When America’s special forces take out a high-value target, their commanders and even the president in the White House can watch and respond in real time, thanks to satellite communication. American commanders view the battlefield and watch their soldiers move across it using American surveillance and positioning satellites. They rely on this information to coordinate attacks and avoid friendly fire. American missile-warning satellites are watching the atmosphere of the entire planet for any possible missile attack on the United States or its allies.

China preps for space warfare

Once the American satellite system is out-matched and vulnerable, it’s lights out for the United States. It’s the last unlocked door and leaves the American homeland open to attack. China and Russia have already demonstrated they have the cyberwarfare edge.

War is not far away and extermination of Americans is the goal. This is what the Chinese buildup for Taiwan is all about.

“Our military battle preparation appears to aim at Taiwan, but in fact is aimed at the United States, and the preparation is far beyond the scope of attacking aircraft carriers or satellites.”Chinese Defense Minister Chi Haotian, December 2005.

War is not far away and extermination of Americans is the goal. Hand-to-hand combat with China was predicted by China to take place within a decade.

America needs to wake up not soon, but now, and return to God — the only thing that can save the United States, which is now past the point of no return regardless who wins the 2016 Presidential election.

Following recent tests of anti-satellite missiles and near-space hypersonic vehicles, China’s military will soon create a new Space Force within the People’s Liberation Army, a sign Beijing is preparing for future space warfare.

Military analysts say there has been no official announcement of the new space warfare unit; however, unofficial sources in China revealed the unit will be part of a new Strategic Support Forces service that will include nuclear missiles — currently under the Second Artillery Force — along with an electronic information forces, cyber warfare units and electronic and signals intelligence.

The shift to space and information warfare is part of a major military reorganization that has been underway in China for the past several years. It’s designed to transform the once ground forces-heavy PLA into a high-technology force. Continue reading

A Space War With China or Russia Is a Real Threat

America could’ve been the king of space decades ago and the the fate of the nation wouldn’t be in jeopardy, but it suicidally chose to abandon Reagan’s Star Wars space warfare program. Sadly, most people in the press are far behind in recognizing this or choose to look the other way and ignore it. The unintelligent community which has a bad habit of being years behind in detecting threats, only to be routinely ‘shocked’ when they ‘suddenly’ discover it, is of more concern.

A war in space sounds like a great plot for a summer blockbuster.

Unfortunately, a conflict in space isn’t just a Hollywood movie script anymore, but a threat in the real world.

Both Russia and China have developed, or are developing, the ability to shoot satellites out of space.

The U.S. Has No Defense Against A Russian Nuclear Attack. Really.

Not only is the American defense system a sham, but the Sino-Soviet alliance is weaponizing space. The US abandonment of the Star Wars program was absolute suicide and a strategic deception on Russia’s part through it’s so-called ‘collapse’. Meanwhile, Russia has also claimed the ability to evade any missile defense with its latest ballistic missile technology.

If you think America is safe today and has nothing to worry about because it’s in tip-top shape, you either haven’t been paying attention at all or are willfully blind.

You can also take a look at the following, but not complete list of previous articles, to put into perspective the grave danger America is putting itself in:

Missile Defense — Why America Has Almost No Protection From The Greatest Threat It Faces, And What To Do About It

The nicest thing that can be said about this approach to security is that it opened the way to reductions in nuclear arsenals on both sides.  The arms reductions have been substantial, but in a way they don’t matter: Russia still has an assured capacity to obliterate America’s society and economy.  That isn’t going to change, because Moscow doesn’t trust Washington and nuclear weapons are its sole remaining claim to superpower status. The Night Sky in December: A new cold war waged not on Earth, but in space

Being that energy or power concerns would be of no concern on the moon thanks to an abundance of Helium-3, this is quite possibly conceivable in theory that the moon could somewhat be ‘weaponized’.

A war not with nuclear-tipped missiles but with destructive laser beams, travelling at the speed of light and reaching their targets 50,000 times faster than today’s missiles

A new cold war seems certain to start within the next few decades, waged not on Earth, but in space.

Mysterious Russian satellite, Object 2014-28E, raises fears we may be on the edge of a space arms race

Putting it on a ‘watchlist’ will not make the problem go away, nor defend anything. As mentioned in a post just yeseterday, they’re likely camouflaging themselves in space junk and now that seems to be the case. The Chinese have already launched satellites with robotic arms. The United States is seemingly at its highest point of vulnerability in its entire history.

A STRANGE new Russian satellite has the US and NATO nervous: It’s not doing what satellites normally do, sparking fears it is really a secret “star wars” killer.

When originally launched back in May, Western observers thought the strange signal in orbit was simply some wayward debris from a normally scheduled Russian military rocket launch.

Perhaps they were supposed to.

But now, it’s shifting orbits. It’s under power, and its purpose remains unknown.

US may lose ‘star wars’ to Russia

Cooperation with private firms will benefit the US space industry but cannot replace cooperation with Russia. Washington risks seeing its space projects hit hard if it abandons cooperation with Moscow, Bloomberg says.

NASA has been actively promoting commercial projects to develop new-generation space rockets, supply vehicles and spaceships capable of carrying astronauts to low-Earth orbits and bringing them back.

The US may not be able, as it hopes, to maintain technological lead forever just because NASA is closely cooperating with private companies, Bloomberg warns. Continue reading

U.S. Navy to deploy ‘Star Wars’-like laser system this summer; electromagnetic rail guns not far behind

BATH, Maine — Some of the Navy’s futuristic weapons sound like something out of “Star Wars,” with lasers designed to shoot down aerial drones and electric guns that fire projectiles at hypersonic speeds. That future is now.

The Navy plans to deploy its first laser on a ship later this year, and it intends to test an electromagnetic rail gun prototype aboard a vessel within two years. Continue reading

Russia to deploy ‘star wars’ missile system in 2017, report says

Russia now joins China in soon having an indigenous ‘Star Wars” missile system. America, in the meantime, has nothing to show for itself and has chosen suicide over self defense. President Reagan’s vision of a star wars space-based defense system was destroyed one to two administrations down the road. He realized the threat from enemies and was ahead of the curve — by decades.

Russia’s defence ministry plans to deploy in 2017 a sophisticated new air missile defence system that can hit targets in space, a senior ministry source told Russian news agencies on Friday.

“The promising S-500 air defence missile system is at the development stage. It’s planned to be deployed in 2017,” the source was quoted as saying by the Interfax news agency. Continue reading

China Launches Three ASAT Satellites

China’s military recently launched three small satellites into orbit as part of Beijing’s covert anti-satellite warfare program, according to a U.S. official.

The three satellites, launched July 20 by a Long March-4C launcher, were later detected conducting unusual maneuvers in space indicating the Chinese are preparing to conduct space warfare against satellites, said the official who is familiar with intelligence reports about the satellites.

One of the satellites was equipped with an extension arm capable of attacking orbiting satellites that currently are vulnerable to both kinetic and electronic disruption.

“This is a real concern for U.S. national defense,” the official said. “The three are working in tandem and the one with the arm poses the most concern. This is part of a Chinese ‘Star Wars’ program.Continue reading
