Sweden, Nation of Open Arms, Debates Implications of Immigration

If you’ve been tuned in to Global Geopolitics for a while, you’ll find this whitewashed and played-down article a bit laughable, if not insulting for its attempt to hide facts and/or discredit those who are experiencing the negative effects.

MALMO, Sweden — It has been only three years since she came to Sweden from Syria, but Hiba Abou Alhassane already says “we” when speaking about her new home country.

“Did we, I mean did Sweden, take too many refugees? Should we close the border?” she pondered this week after President Trump’s remarks that Sweden’s immigration policies had failed. “It already happened. People aren’t coming anymore.”

In many ways, Ms. Alhassane is a perfect example of Sweden’s long-held belief in the rightness of sheltering and helping to support migrants and refugees. She has worked hard to integrate. Already nearly fluent in Swedish, she teaches at two local primary schools.

But recently Swedes also find themselves questioning the wisdom of their generosity to outsiders in need, and its potential limits, leading to the country’s harshest debate ever over immigration. Continue reading

Boeing Needed International Help to Build New Training Jet

U.S. Air Force training planes made with a lot of Swedish help, delivered by Russia. If this isn’t a signal America has lost its edge, we probably don’t want to know what else might be around the corner.

Boeing partnered with Swedish company Saab to design their candidate for the Air Force's next advanced trainer aircraft.

Boeing partnered with Swedish company Saab to design their candidate for the Air Force’s next advanced trainer aircraft.

A decade of layoffs forced the US giant to seek engineering and manufacturing talent from partner Saab.

It seemed so all-American: a U.S. aviation giant unveiling its newest military jet to flashing lights and thumping heavy-metal music. But the sleek twin-tailed T-X — Boeing’s candidate to become the U.S. Air Force’s next pilot trainer — couldn’t have made it to the dolled-up St. Louis hangar without a good deal of international help.

US Federal Reserve Bank Hit by Hackers

Hackers successfully attacked the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, redirecting users of its online research services to fake websites set up by the attackers, the bank said on Tuesday.

The fake websites were designed to look like the web pages of services provided by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. The attack compromised the Internet’s routing system, known as the domain name system (DNS). Continue reading

Communist Agitators Inflamed Ferguson Riots

As people around the world watched news footage of rioting and looting in Ferguson last summer, most overlooked one disturbing detail: Many protesters carried signs and banners with the web address of the Revolutionary Communist Party, U.S.A. The majority of mainstream news outlets may have ignored the fact, but it is undeniable that protesters in Oakland, California; St. Louis, Missouri; and New York City, New York, have used the www.revcom.us address extensively.

The Revolutionary Communist Party (rcp) is currently the foremost Maoist party in the United States, though it probably only boasts several hundred members. Its earliest roots stretch back to the Sino-Soviet split of 1962. Favoring the Chinese brand of Communism over the Russian brand, 50 members and ex-members of the Communist Party, U.S.A. (cpusa) split into the Progressive Labor Movement (plm). This Maoist group later split into the Revolutionary Communist Party and Bill Ayers’s Weather Underground. Continue reading

Black Racist Group Plotted Bombing, Assassination but Charged with Gun Crime

New Black Panther Party foments hatred of whites, Jews, America

The communist and racist New Black Panther Party plotted to bomb St. Louis’ Gateway Arch and assassinate local law enforcement officials, but the Justice Department so far has limited its prosecution of the group to an indictment of two members on minor gun charges.

The soft treatment for activities that normally would have brought federal terrorism charges appears to be part of efforts by Attorney General Eric Holder and the Justice Department to “go soft” on the racist group, according to former Justice official J. Christian Adams.

“I have always been perplexed why these guys get special treatment,” said Adams, who worked in the Justice Department Civil Rights Division and noted a similar conciliatory legal treatment of New Black Panther Party members in a 2008 case of voter intimidation by the group in Philadelphia.

In the earlier case against the Panthers, voter intimidation charges were dropped by the Justice Department against the Panthers, and charges were downgraded against one group member, King Shabazz, in what critics say was an effort to show official favoritism toward the group.

Adams’ 2011 book, “Injustice: Exposing the Racial Agenda of the Obama Justice Department,” includes a photograph of then presidential candidate Barack Obama marching in Selma, Alabama, with members of the New Black Panther Party in March 2007. Continue reading

Obama Met With Ferguson Activists – Said He’s Concerned They “Stay on Course”

President Obama met with Ferguson protest leaders on November 5th, the day after the midterm elections. The meeting was not on his daily schedule. He was concerned that the protesters “stay on course.”

What does that mean?

And why is the president meeting with the violent Mike Brown protesters before a verdict is reached in the court case? Continue reading
