Obama Administration To Take Harder Anti-Israel Line

Israel National News reports that in its last days, the Obama administration plans to come down hard on Israel:

The Middle East Quartet, made up of the US, EU, UN, and Russia, is scheduled to release a major policy report later in coming weeks, and senior diplomats involved in its drafting have indicated that the US is taking a far harder line on Israel than in the past.

Politico reports on the Obama administration’s reaction to yesterday’s election results in Israel. The Obama administration is fuming, as you might expect. Still, this is deeply ironic: Israel has re-elected a leader who is pro-American, who shares our values, who is popular with the American people–more popular, in fact, than our own president–and our administration is outraged.
