Russia, China Plan Military Exercises

Russia and China will hold large-scale joint naval exercises next month, according to an April 18 report by Want China Times. The two nations also plan to increase the scale and standard of naval exercises. These are indications of the increasing cooperation between the two countries.

Seventy Chinese Honor Guard officers will participate in the May 9 military exercises known as the Russia Victory Day Red Square Parade. The parade celebrates Germany’s surrender at the end of World War ii. At the parade, Russia will present new T-14 Armata battle platforms—military vehicles designed for modern military obstacles.
