The president did not specify a target for the strikes, but said the United States would aim to hit sites “associated with the chemical weapons capabilities” of Assad’s regime.

President Donald Trump on Friday ordered the United States military — in conjunction with France and the United Kingdom — to launch strikes on Syria in retaliation for a suspected chemical weapons attack by the regime of President Bashar al-Assad on a Damascus suburb last week.

The president did not specify a target for the strikes, but said the United States would aim to hit sites “associated with the chemical weapons capabilities” of Assad’s regime. Continue reading

  • Two B-2 stealth bombers arrived at RAF Fairford with three B-25 Stratofortresses and three B-1 Lancers
  • The fleet of nuclear-capable strategic bombers are in Gloucestershire to support planned NATO exercises
  • But they also send a powerful show of strength to Putin’s Russia, in echoes of the Cold War
  • In recent months NATO jets have been repeatedly scrambled to intercept Russian bombers

The US has deployed several nuclear-capable strategic bombers to Britain for the first time as tensions with Russia continue to grow. Continue reading

U.S. Air Force deploys WC-135 nuclear sniffer aircraft to UK as spike of radioactive Iodine levels is detected in Europe

A follow-up from yesterday’s post:

The USAF WC-135C Constant Phoenix might be investigating a spike in radioactive levels in Norway. Someone speculates the release of this radionuclide could be the effect of a Russian nuclear test.

On Feb. 17, 2017, U.S. Air Force WC-135C Constant Phoenix Nuclear explosion “sniffer,” serial number 62-3582, using radio callsign “Cobra 55” deployed to RAF Mildenhall, UK.

As we have already reported the WC-135 is a derivative of the Boeing C-135 transport and support plane. Two of these aircraft are in service today out of the ten examples operated since 1963. The aircraft are flown by flight crews from the 45th Reconnaissance Squadron from Offutt Air Force Base while mission crews are staffed by Detachment 1 from the Air Force Technical Applications Center. World War 3 Update: UK Still Fearful, Plans Sending Missiles to Russian Border

Putin has already indicated that the regular launch of the missiles and drills are not because the nation has been planning to attack the NATO members or the rival countries. It was just a preparation by the Russians to ensure the nation’s security. He added that Russia’s security is much more important for them rather than attacking rival nations. Continue reading

REVEALED: Russia spy planes in Britain’s skies… and UK Government is ASSISTING the jets

VLADIMIR PUTIN’S spy planes are flying over the skies of Britain – and the UK Government have welcomed the Russian jets with open arms.

And the relationship between the two super powers appears to be so cosy, that the UK air force personnel will be aboard the spy planes.

Russian airmen have been given the green light to carry out reconnaissance missions in British airspace as part of a treaty that was drawn up in the aftermath of the Cold War.

Terror wave catches German authorities in denial

Two Syrian refugees committed acts of terror in different Bavarian towns Sunday, July 24, the third and fourth violent attacks in Germany in less than a week.

One Syrian, a 21-year old, used a machete to murder a pregnant woman in Reutingen near Stuttgart. He was arrested – but only after a motorist saw him attacking two more people and ran him down. Local police assured the populace that there was nothing more to fear since the attack arose from a private quarrel between the Syrian man and a female colleague at work.

This did not explain why the attacker went on to stab another two victims. Continue reading

Is Russia flying NUCLEAR missiles over the Channel? Fears over Putin’s jets in UK airspace

Last February, two Tu-95 bombers intercepted over the Channel were found to be carrying a nuclear missile designed to destroy Trident submarines.

Cockpit conservations confirming the bomber’s nuclear payload were intercepted by a Norwegian military listening post and passed to the Ministry of Defence.

Israeli Drone Feeds Hacked by American and British Intelligence

In case you were wondering what side the United States (and Great Britain) now takes in regards to Israel and Iran, wonder no more:

AMERICAN AND BRITISH INTELLIGENCE secretly tapped into live video feeds from Israeli drones and fighter jets, monitoring military operations in Gaza, watching for a potential strike against Iran, and keeping tabs on the drone technology Israel exports around the world.

Under a classified program code-named “Anarchist,” the U.K.’s Government Communications Headquarters, or GCHQ, working with the National Security Agency, systematically targeted Israeli drones from a mountaintop on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. GCHQ files provided by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden include a series of “Anarchist snapshots” — thumbnail images from videos recorded by drone cameras. The files also show location data mapping the flight paths of the aircraft. In essence, U.S. and British agencies stole a bird’s-eye view from the drones. Continue reading

World leaders scramble to defuse ‘monstrous’ new crisis over Russia’s downed jet: Putin ratchets the tension by dispatching warship to Mediterranean as Moscow expert warns war is ‘likely’

  • Russia warns of ‘serious consequences’ after Nato country downs Russian military jet for first time since 1953
  • Two pilots were reportedly shot dead by Syrian rebels as they parachuted from burning Sukhoi Su-24 warplane
  • Third Russian said to have died when rescue helicopter was hit with anti-tank missile by another rebel group
  • Russia denied plane had been in Turkish airspace but Nato secretary-general says assessment showed it had
  • A warship has been deployed to the Mediterranean Sea to destroy potential threats to Russian forces in Syria
  • Britain has declared military back-up is on standby to support Turkey in any revenge attack by Putin’s forces

A ‘monstrous’ new crisis has begun after Turkey shot down a Russian military plane, sparking fears of a war.

Vladimir Putin  has accused the Turks of a ‘stab in the back’, branding them ‘accomplices of terrorists’. Continue reading

Russian spies stealing secrets of Britain’s NUCLEAR submarines…making them USELESS

Vessels deployed by the “sabre-rattling” Kremlin are patrolling close to naval bases in Scotland – home to the Trident weapons system – in a bid to poach the ‘acoustic signature’ of British submarines.

If successful, it would render much of Britain’s clandestine naval fleet effectively useless, as Vladimir Putin’s military would be able to trace the precise location of our supposedly ‘stealth’ submarines – and SINK them.

Syria: As the West dithers, Putin makes his move

Telegraph View: Sadly, allowing Assad to remain in power may be the least worst option for the world

Nothing better illustrates the utter vacuity that exists at the heart of Government policy-making over the vexed issue of Syria than its inability to respond to the significant challenge posed by President Putin’s military intervention in support of the Syrian regime. As we have seen in Crimea and eastern Ukraine, Mr Putin is not shy about using military force when it suits his geo-political agenda. And with President Bashar al-Assad’s regime reportedly on the brink of collapse, the Russian leader has clearly decided that the deployment of Russian warplanes and armoured vehicles is vital to prevent the Syrian capital falling into the hands of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) militants, with all the implications that would have for the region.

How close we came to Armageddon: Russian bombers began to arm NUKE near UK airspace

PILOTS in one of the two Russian supersonic bombers intercepted near UK skies last week had started the countdown to arm a nuclear bomb, sources revealed last night.

The discovery was made after RAF specialists analyzed a four-second signal transmitted from one of the Tupolev Tu-160 bombers, known by Nato as “Blackjacks”, in the days following Thursday’s incursion.

Analysts at RAF Boulmer, Britain’s Control and Reporting Centre, confirmed that the Russian bombers had begun the sequence to arm nuclear weapons while carrying out the incursion.

It is not the first time they have done this and comparison with a similar signal transmitted by a TU-95 “Bear” bomber revealed Russian air crew had begun the countdown during an incursion last year, as well.
