About 83 percent of the Palestinians killed by Israeli forces during the recent violent demonstrations at the Israel-Gaza Strip border were terrorist operatives or affiliated with terrorist organizations, according to a new report.

The Israel-based Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC) found that at least 112 Palestinians were killed during the Hamas-led riots from March 30 through May 15, and that at least 93 of them were identified as terrorists or associated with a terrorist group. Over 20 Years of Warnings

From the Trumpet’s earliest editions, our editor in chief has drawn attention to specific prophetic warnings about race relations in America.

As far back as June 1992, in the wake of the Los Angeles race riots, Gerald Flurry wrote in the Trumpet:

As the economy grows worse, the rioters are going to burn more and more because God’s wrath is upon us! And God is far more wrathful toward the white people in Israel than He is with the black people. The problems are going to intensify until our people repent [of their many sins]! …

The Los Angeles rioting is just a type of what is going to happen to the whole nation! It is a stark prophecy of our future! The rioting and burning is the main thrust of the ‘pestilence’ mentioned in Ezekiel 5. [The word pestilence can be defined as a plague of violence or burning. For more information, request our free book on Ezekiel.] And this rioting is going to spread to other Israelite nations—unless these peoples repent! God is going to get our attention, one way or another. Continue reading

Venezuelans are storming supermarkets and attacking trucks as food supplies dwindle

Caracas: In the darkness the warehouse looks like any other, a metal-roofed hangar next to a clattering overpass, with homeless people sleeping nearby in the shadows.

But inside, workers quietly unload black plastic crates filled with merchandise so valuable that mobs have looted delivery vehicles, shot up the windshields of trucks and hurled a rock into one driver’s eye. Soldiers and police milling around the loading depots give this neighbourhood the feel of a military garrison.

“It’s just cheese,” said Juan Urrea, a 29-year-old driver, as workers unloaded thousands of pounds of white Venezuelan queso from his delivery truck. “I’ve never seen anything like this before.” Continue reading

Violent Riots And Looting Are Now A Daily Occurrence In Venezuela

https://i0.wp.com/www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user51698/imageroot/2016/06/12/20160612_protest5_0.JPG

Last month we reported that citizens in Venezuela had finally become so desperate for food that angry mobs flooded the streets and looted all of the supermarkets that were rumored to still have anything left on their shelves.

Not long after, tired and hungry protesters took to the streets of Caracas once again, this time marching toward the presidential palace as they chanted “No more talk – we want food!.” The mob was able to get within about six blocks of the palace before police in riot gear blocked the way, and began to shoot tear gas into the crowd to disperse the protest.

And now, as president Maduro remains defiant on allowing a referendum to take place to vote on his ouster, food riots and violent looting are taking place every day in a stark reminder of just how far the socialist utopia has fallen. Continue reading

Stock up on canned food for stock market crash, warns former Gordon Brown adviser

Global Geopolitics does not call dates, and a global market crash may in fact not happen, but all signs point towards an imminent crash. Warning signs are flashing, and not just from ‘conspiracy theorists’.

Don’t be foolish and think this warning pertains only to Great Britain. The U.S. will be one of the, if not the, hardest hit nations.

Why take a chance? How many more warnings do you need to see? Don’t be complacent. Prepare how you see fit. The best advice is to get right with God.

A former adviser to Gordon Brown has urged people to stock up on canned goods and bottled water as stock markets around the world slide.

Damian McBride appeared to suggest that the stock market dip could lead to civil disorder or other situations where it would be unreasonable for someone to leave the house.

“Advice on the looming crash, No.1: get hard cash in a safe place now; don’t assume banks & cashpoints will be open, or bank cards will work,” he tweeted. Continue reading

‘We have been betrayed!’ Protest turns violent as Greece votes

Athens (AFP) – Firebombs thrown by furious anti-austerity protesters exploded in front of Greece’s parliament Wednesday as anger over a new bailout deal spilled onto the streets of the capital.

As lawmakers prepared to vote on the unpopular deal, police fired tear gas to push back dozens of hooded and masked protesters, who threw rocks and stones as they chanted angrily in Syntagma square.

“We have been betrayed!” shouted a man in a balaclava, as police used pepper spray and gas to stop a crowd breaching a security line blocking off the road to the prime minister’s office. Continue reading

Food collapse unfolding in Greece: Grocery store shelves to be stripped bare… supermarkets raided… home gardens now the new ‘secret weapon’ against starvation

That moment has now arrived for the citizens of Greece. With cash disappearing, grocery store shelves are on the verge of being stripped bare across the country, and some citizens are beginning to raid grocery stores in desperately thefts to acquire enough food to prevent their own starvation.

Some Greeks are already dumpster diving for food, and one citizen told The Telegraph, “Sometimes I’ll find scrap metal that I can sell, although if I see something that looks reasonably safe to eat, I’ll take it. Other times you might find paper, cans, and bottles that you can get money for if you take them back to the shops for recycling.”

In Athens, one group of so-called “anti-establishment groups” raided a grocery store, stole the goods and fled on foot. [2] This is just the first of many such raids we’ll see on grocery stores in the coming days, of course. Continue reading

Greek debt crisis reaches ‘DEFCON 1’ as savers pull €400m in ONE DAY and markets plunge

PANIC has descended on Greece as the debt-stricken country careers out the eurozone – with savers pulling millions in cash while investors continue to flee financial markets.

The Greek Prime Minister today blasted Athens’ European Union creditors who he said were trying to “humiliate” and “strangle” Greece into making proposed spending cuts in return for bailout cash.

Alexis Tsipras confirmed that talks have completely stalled, with the two sides in total stalemate over austerity measures. Continue reading

Riots erupt across West Baltimore, downtown

Violence and looting overtook much of West Baltimore on Monday, injuring more than a dozen police officers and leaving buildings and vehicles in flames.

As night fell, looters took to Mondawmin Mall and a Save-A-Lot and Rite Aid in Bolton Hill, loading up cars with stolen goods. About 10 fire crews battled a three-alarm fire at a large senior center under construction at Chester and Gay streets, as police officers stood guard with long guns.

About 10 p.m., police confirmed shots were fired at an officer in the area of Virginia Avenue and Reisterstown Road in Northwest Baltimore. The officer was not hit and the suspect fled.

Fifteen police officers were injured in a clash with school-age children that began around 3 p.m., and two remain hospitalized, police Col. Darryl DeSousa said in a press conference Monday night. Earlier, police spokesman Capt. Eric Kowalczyk said one officer was unresponsive and others suffered broken bones. Continue reading

Stunned Greeks React To Initial Capital Controls And The “Decree To Confiscate Reserves”, And They Are Not Happy

Earlier today, following weeks of speculation, Greece finally launched the first shot across the bow of capital controls, when it decreed that due to an “extremely urgent and unforeseen need” (ironically the need was quite foreseen since about 2010, but that is a different story), it would be “obliged” to transfer – as in confiscate – “idle cash reserves” located across the country’s local governments (i.e., various cities and municipalities) to the Greek central bank.

Several hours later the decree which was posted in the government gazette has finally percolated among the population, and the response to what even ordinary Greeks realize is now the endgame, is less than exuberant. Continue reading

Insider Alan Greenspan Warns of Explosive Inflation: “Tinderbox Looking For a Spark”

Last month it was revealed that former federal reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, the architect of U.S. monetary policy under four Presidents, is anticipating a significant market event as a result of the trillions of dollars that have been pumped into the system over the last several years. According to Greenspan, something big is coming.

His comments were shared by well known resource analyst Brien Lundin, who joined Greenspan for private discussions at last year’s New Orleans Investment Conference. In his latest interview Lundin further clarifies Greenspan’s private thoughts on current economic and monetary policy and sheds light on the former Fed Chairman’s suggestion that ‘something big is coming.Continue reading
