Russian media has threatened the United States with a 100 megaton nuclear weapon after a key arms treaty failed.  The doomsday device was a threat lobbed by Russian state-sponsored media and the Russian military after the U.S. announced that the country will exit the Intermediate Nuclear Forces treaties.

Although treaties don’t mean much (their success hinges only on tyrants’ willingness to follow them and obey the words inked on paper anyway) the U.S. mainstream media seems to be afraid. According to MSN, the treaty was the only thing standing between Russia and another Cold War. It was “one of the last barriers to a full-on Cold War-like arms race in Europe – and there’s already talk of a nuclear doomsday device visiting the U.S.,” wrote MSN. The treaty was useless, however, as Russia disobeyed it.

The U.S. and China reportedly have a long standing arrangement that Beijing will physically invade North Korea if they believe Kim Jong-un has developed a miniaturized nuclear warhead 

(VERO BEACH, FL)  According to a DIA official assigned specifically to monitor North Korea, the secret “working” agreement was negotiated as an unofficial understanding between the two superpowers, and could result in a Chinese invasion of the Korean Peninsula between now and September 11th.

The source, who spoke to TruNews Correspondent Edward Szall through a proxy on Sunday night, and must remain unnamed due to his official capacity as a veteran member of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), said both the U.S. and China are actively investigating the claims made by North Korea on Sunday, that they have successfully tested a miniaturized nuclear device and possess the technology to effectively mount it on a ballistic missile.

(VERO BEACH, FL) The warning messages began on April 20th according to a Pyongyang resident who spoke to Radio Free Asia, and it advised Korean-Chinese residents to return home amid concern that Kim Jong-un’s recent threats may entice a U.S. preemptive strike on North Korea.

“The embassy has never given such a warning,” said the unnamed man. “I was worried and left the country in a hurry.”

During an interview on Britain’s “Today” program on BBC Radio 4, Fallon was asked in what type of scenario would Britain consider using nuclear weapons as a preemptive strike option, he replied: “In the most extreme circumstances, we’ve made it very clear that you can’t rule out the use of nuclear weapons as a first strike.”

The IAEA is stacked with Iranian sympathizers whereas the CIA is heavily infiltrated and the NSA is more worried about labeling ordinary citizens terrorists. In short, Iran having a nuclear weapon should be everyone’s foregone conclusion. So, “What then?”, you ask? War. That’s what.

War will break out beforehand with Israel preemptively attacking as it fights for its existence before the Iranians can launch a nuclear strike. This is if Iran decides to stop patiently waiting for its nuclear arsenal to be complete and attack first. Should war beforehand break out, expect Iran to openly pursue nuclear weapons afterwards and have the entire world line up against Israel as it’s portrayed as the aggressor in a well designed trap. Israel also might not be able to completely knock out what it needs in the event of war due to logistics and limited backing by the Obama administration.

 

WASHINGTON, January 21 (Sputnik) — Verifying Iranian compliance with a nuclear agreement to halt the development of nuclear weapons goes beyond the abilities of US intelligence agencies, and depends on the active role of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), former CIA and NSA Director Major General Michael Hayden said at a Middle East conference on Tuesday.

“With regard to verification of an [Iranian nuclear] agreement, do not depend on American intelligence to do that,” General Hayden said, adding that the verification of Iranian nuclear facilities “will be beyond the reach of American intelligence.”

The Obama administration’s stalling plan has worked and now it is past the point of no return for Israel. It will be forced into a corner with no choice but to fight for its very existence and launch a preemptive strike, and likely alone. This will in turn put all the blame on Israel who will be painted and perceived as the unprovoked aggressor, and all the Obama administration has to do is sit back and point fingers.

Israel could also face a major assault from all angles and countries in the Middle East, but when its enemies are ready and fully stockpiled with weapons good enough to guarantee Israel physically exists no more. But for now, the endgame goal is to provoke them in acting first and appear as the bad guy for setting the entire region on fire. In the end, those who have ears that listen and eyes that see know what happens to those who forsake or attempt to divide Israel.

North Korea threatens ‘preemptive nuclear attack’ on US as UN readies new sanctions (+video)

 

North Korea upped the ante in its vitriolic rhetoric today, threatening to launch a preemptive nuclear strike against the US and other “aggressors,” just hours ahead of the United Nations Security Council’s expected vote to implement harsh new sanctions against the regime.

According to North Korea’s state news agency, a foreign ministry official warned that “Now that the US is set to light a fuse for a nuclear war, (our) revolutionary armed forces… will exercise the right to a preemptive nuclear attack to destroy the strongholds of the aggressors,” writes Agence France-Presse. The official also said that a second Korean war is “unavoidable.”

Barak Warns Israel Ready to Go It Alone on Iran

Have Israeli leaders gotten tired of waiting for Obama on Iran? Defense Minister Barak says Jerusalem won’t rely on Washington.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned Wednesday that Jerusalem is “committed to doing everything it can in order to stop Iran from going nuclear.”

I am “fully aware of the difficulties and complexities involved in preventing Iran from attaining nuclear weapons,” Barak told graduates of the IDF National Security College.

Israel is facing “difficult and fateful decisions” in weighing methods to stop Iran’s controversial uranium enrichment program, he said.

Iranian officials contend that their program has only peaceful goals, but officials in Jerusalem, the West, and Gulf Arab states say Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons.

Barak said “having to deal with the challenge” of an Iran possessing nuclear bombs “would be many times more complex, dangerous and costly, both in terms of human life and in terms of resources, than a preemptive strike.”

Barak said Israel would remain responsible for its own security, rather than depending on other states, such as the United States.

Referring to the last two years of tumultuous changes in the region, Barak said the so-called Arab Spring “has slowly become an Islamic Summer,” a development that “teaches us that in the moment of truth, we can only rely on ourselves.”

The defense minister insisted that “America understands that the government of Israel — and it alone — holds the ultimate responsibility of the decisions that affect the security and future of the State of Israel.”

Former Islamic Insider Offers Warning

Last week I quoted from a book by Reza Kahlili, A Time to Betray. This week I had a chance to speak with Mr. Kahlili by phone, and ask him about the Iran crisis. As a former CIA operative who worked inside the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, he understands the strengths and weaknesses of the Islamic Republic.  He knows the Islamist mindset, and the errors that plague U.S. policy.

I asked Mr. Kahlili whether he thought a preemptive strike against Iran was a good idea. “The question is complex,” he answered. “You should never have allowed Iran to become what it is today. You have missed opportunity after opportunity.”

Perhaps it is no accident we are in such a difficult position today. Reza Kahlili is not alone in suggesting that the West has used bad judgment and shown poor leadership regarding Iran. To survive intact, our civilization must do better. We have deluded ourselves long enough. We have refused to accept that our enemies are enemies, that they intend our destruction. The hour is late, and time is running out.
