This is one of the most important articles I will write all year. The statists are coming for your kids, and the conditioning has already begun.

Last night, I came across one of the most horrifying articles I have ever read, which is saying a lot. Before I get into it, take a look at the title and the tagline:

If you think the title is bad, wait until you read the article. What becomes evident is that this grotesque concept of forced “national service” is being actively discussed at the highest levels of government. What Ron Fournier is doing in his National Journal article is conditioning the public to accept something that is completely unacceptable. Continue reading

The Coming Crash of All Crashes – but in Debt

Why are governments rushing to eliminate cash? During previous recoveries following the recessionary declines from the peaks in the Economic Confidence Model, the central banks were able to build up their credibility and ammunition so to speak by raising interest rates during the recovery. This time, ever since we began moving toward Transactional Banking with the repeal of Glass Steagall in 1999, banks have looked at profits rather than their role within the economic landscape. They shifted to structuring products and no longer was there any relationship with the client. This reduced capital formation for it has been followed by rising unemployment among the youth and/or their inability to find jobs within their fields of study. The VELOCITY of money peaked with our ECM 1998.55 turning point from which we warned of the pending crash in Russia. Continue reading

It’s come to this: Time to impeach ‘Emperor Obama’

President Barack Obama is in open defiance of the U.S. Constitution.

This week, in an address to the nation, he announced he is granting relief from deportation to approximately 4 to 5 million illegal immigrants. He is doing this, even though he has said, in numerous speeches since he assumed office in 2008, that he does not have the constitutional authority to transgress or alter current immigration laws. He is now governing by diktat, acting outside of the law, overriding the separation of powers and our system of checks and balances. His action is unprecedented in American history, launching us into a full-fledged constitutional crisis.

There is only one response commensurate with this brazen power grab: impeachment. Continue reading

EPA says taking over private property will benefit the economy

This basically gives the government absolute enminent domain over whatever property they choose, when they choose. To think that this won’t be abused is foolish.

Can the EPA run your property better than you? The Environmental Protection Agency says that its proposal to extend its regulatory powers over wetlands and waterways would produce economic benefits.

Republican lawmakers warn that the agency is trying to extend its power to regulate private property.

The EPA’s rule would redefine the term “waters of the United States” to include all “tributaries, regardless of size and flow, and all lakes, ponds and wetlands within a floodplain” reports E&E News. Other bodies of water, “such as geographically isolated wetlands, would have to be shown on a case-by-case basis to have a significant chemical, physical or biological effect on larger waterways downstream — a major point of concern for environmental groups” E&E added.
