Pope Says Church Should Stop Obsessing Over Gays, Abortion

On 9/11 of this year, Pope Francis had also declared to athiests that you don’t have to believe in God to get to heaven.

He couldn’t be more contradictory from lessons and warnings within the written word of God (Bible) that he is sworn to live and lead by. Here are a few examples:

  • 2 Peter 2:1-3
  • Revelation 2:20-22

Under this pope, is without question and now official that Apostasy has entered the Vatican/Roman Catholic Church, today’s Holy Roman Empire — among many others.

Pope Francis said the Catholic Church shouldn’t be “obsessed” with preaching about abortion, gay marriage and contraception and should instead try to reach out to a broader congregation.

“It is not necessary to talk about these issues all the time,” Francis told the Catholic publication, La Civilta Cattolica. “We have to find a new balance; otherwise even the moral edifice of the Church is likely to fall like a house of cards, losing the freshness and fragrance of the Gospel.” Continue reading

Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina elected pope, takes name Pope Francis I

VATICAN CITY — Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina was elected pope Wednesday, becoming the first pontiff from Latin America and taking the name Pope Francis I.

Appearing on the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica a short time later, the new pope greeted a vast crowd gathered below in St. Peter’s Square with salutations in Italian and led a prayer for his predecessor, Benedict XVI.

“As you know, the duty of the conclave was to appoint a bishop of Rome, and it seems to me that my brother cardinals went to fetch him at the end of the world,” he said. “But here I am.” Continue reading
