Dick Cheney predicts US will suffer a terrorist attack ‘far deadlier’ than 9/11 before the decade is over

A dated article, yet a bit more relevant to today’s times.

Iran already has thousands of IRGC sleeper cells in America for years now waiting for the green light. They already have targets picked out and are prepared for campaigns against America, inside America. They will settle for nothing less than an American Hiroshima. Iran is just one adversary with such plans.

  • Former vice president believes a terrorist attack even worse than what happened on September 11, 2001 is probable before the end of the decade
  • You can just imagine what would happen if somebody could smuggle a nuclear device and drive it down the beltway outside Washington D.C.’
  • Cheney and his daughter Liz last week announced the launch of The Alliance for a Strong America
  • They’ve promised to keep ‘policies necessary to protect the nation’ in the spotlight
  • In a recent scathing op-ed, they slammed the Obama administration for its handling of the jihadi uprising in Iraq

Former vice president Dick Cheney believes that a terrorist attack even worse than the destruction of the twin towers on September 11, 2001 is probable before the end of the decade.

Cheney appeared on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show on Tuesday and was asked if he thought the United States would ‘get through this decade without another massive attack on the homeland.’

Netanyahu: If Iran nuclear deal is good, why hide it from Israel?

Iran who now controls four Middle Eastern capitals is important to note and was also mentioned in a previous post. Their aim is not only to rule over the entire Middle East, but to become a world power, if not the sole world power. This is why it’s working overtime in acquiring nuclear weapons.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launched thinly veiled criticism at the Obama administration Monday for reportedly withholding information from Israel regarding the ongoing US-led nuclear talks with Iran. He also left no doubt whatsoever that he will go ahead with his controversial speech to congress on March 3, saying that no responsible Israeli prime minister could “refuse an invitation to speak on a matter that could affect our very existence” before the world’s most important parliament.“Just as Iran knows what deal is being outlined in the negotiations, it’s only natural that Israel also know the agreement being drafted,” Netanyahu said in Hebrew at the start of an address to a visiting group from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. “But if there is anyone who thinks that this is a good agreement, why should it be hidden?” Continue reading

North Korea warns of ‘dark cloud of war’ as South begins naval drills ahead of ‘imminent’ nuclear test

SEOUL, South Korea — South Korean and U.S. troops began naval drills Monday in a show of force partly directed at North Korea amid signs that Pyongyang will soon follow through on a threat to conduct its third atomic test.

North Korea’s state media said Sunday that at a high-level Workers’ Party meeting, leader Kim Jong Un issued “important” guidelines meant to bolster the army and protect national sovereignty. North Korea didn’t elaborate, but Kim’s guidelines likely refer to a nuclear test and suggest that Pyongyang appears to have completed formal procedural steps and is preparing to conduct a nuclear test soon, according to South Korean analyst Hong Hyun-ik. Gingrich Warns of Iranian Nuclear Attack

Don’t think it can happen? Politics aside, perhaps people should take a trip down memory lane or become acquainted with the fact that the Soviets likely had a nuclear device in Washington DC at the time JFK was President. Point being, the threat from within is more dangerous than the increasing threat from abroad — an American Hiroshima, if you will. Politicians and security officials in the past have also warned that such a threat is real. Countries such as Iran, who have terror cells within the United States, are prepared to retaliate via terrorism within the homeland should the Islamic republic come under direct military attack or a perceived imminent danger. Conclusion: The threat is real.

In the past, Mr. Gingrich has said that if Iran were to obtain nuclear weapons, then not only Israel but also the United States would be at risk, and he has characterized Iran as a country and a culture that fosters terrorism. He has also talked about how much worse a nuclear attack on the United States would be than the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in New York and Washington.

He tied those warnings particularly close together in his appearance here.

“You think about an Iranian nuclear weapon. You think about the dangers, to Cleveland, or to Columbus, or to Cincinnati, or to New York,” Mr. Gingrich said. “Remember what it felt like on 9/11 when 3,100 Americans were killed. Now imagine an attack where you add two zeros. And it’s 300,000 dead. Maybe a half-million wounded. This is a real danger. This is not science fiction. That’s why I think it’s very important that we have the strongest possible national security.”
