State Department email system hacked, shut down

The State Department has taken the unprecedented step of shutting down its entire unclassified email system as technicians repair possible damage from a suspected hacker attack.

A senior department official said Sunday that “activity of concern” was detected in the system around the same time as a previously reported incident that targeted the White House computer network. That incident was made public in late October, but there was no indication then that the State Department had been affected. Since then, a number of agencies, including the U.S. Postal Service and the National Weather Service, have reported attacks. Continue reading

Chinese hack U.S. weather systems, satellite network

It could soon be lights out for America. The banking system is compromised. The national power grid remains unguarded and vulnerable to attack — and one needs to knock out only nine substations to black the nation out indefinitely. The U.S. strategic nuclear forces are being cut while America reduces its own, thinking it’s taking ‘the moral high road’. Not one new nuclear weapon has been made since roughly 1989. Meanwhile, a military purge is wiping out critical senior military leadership across all branches. Ebola, which has the potential to wipe out entire populations is intentionally underreported, whitewashed or not reported at all. The U.S. Federal Reserve intervenes in the markets when the market shows signs of crashing. The White House can’t defend itself from people hopping over the fence.

If you’ve been following this site long enough, you’ll know this is just a small list of many failures indicating a perfect storm, or sword, rather, is coming to America.

In the meantime, the American shopping mall regime keeps rolling along and fighting over cheap Chinese goods on ‘Black Friday’ and continues following the Kardashians. Move along now, nothing to see here.

Hackers from China breached the federal weather network recently, forcing cybersecurity teams to seal off data vital to disaster planning, aviation, shipping and scores of other crucial uses, officials said.

The intrusion occurred in late September but officials gave no indication that they had a problem until Oct. 20, according to three people familiar with the hack and the subsequent reaction by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or NOAA, which includes the National Weather Service. Even then, NOAA did not say its systems were compromised.

Officials also said that the agency did not notify the proper authorities when it learned of the attack. Continue reading

Report: 4 in 10 Government Security Breaches Go Undetected

DHS, DOJ, DOD, EPA, NASA, Energy, State routinely hacked

A new report by Sen. Tom Coburn (R., Okla.) details widespread cybersecurity breaches in the federal government, despite billions in spending to secure the nation’s most sensitive information.

The report, released on Tuesday, found that approximately 40 percent of breaches go undetected, and highlighted “serious vulnerabilities in the government’s efforts to protect its own civilian computers and networks.” Continue reading

Michael Savage: ‘Why is Obama arming federal agencies with hollow-point bullets?’

Michael Savage shared disturbing news reports of federal agencies stocking up on hollow-point bullets, to the tune of hundreds of thousands of rounds.

He wondered why the Obama administration is so eager to help government employees stock up on ammunition, as well as why the average American isn’t up in arms over these revelations.

“Federal agencies are trying to tamp down speculation over their hollow-point ammo purchases,” Savage explained to listeners, adding:

Why does the Social Security Administration suddenly need 174,000 rounds of .357 hollow-point pistol ammo?

A message on the official blog for the Social Security inspector general says, “Our special agents need to be armed and trained appropriately.”

To do what? So that if senior citizens riot when their benefits are cut, they can always gun them down like in South Africa?

We’re hearing that the National Weather Service also bought hollow-point ammo. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration just purchased 46,000 rounds of such ammunition.

What sane citizenry on earth would not be alarmed when they read that a criminal organization like the Obama administration is arming every agency to the teeth with hollow-point ammunition?

Why would any government need hollow-point bullets in any case?

You don’t need them for target practice. When you shoot at a piece of paper you don’t need a bullet that expands inside a body and tears up organs.

Nobody has an answer. You’ll never get an answer from the Department of Homeland Security.

That sorority house is not in business to help you. They’re in business to keep you in line.
