Major media outlets are starting to notice parallels between modern Europe and the Holy Roman Empire. Are these similarities to be celebrated? Check history.

“The Holy Roman Empire Can Help Inspire a Different European Union.” This was the headline of a January 20 article in the Financial Times of Britain.

Many authorities today believe returning to the ways of the Holy Roman Empire would vastly improve Europe. This reflects a dangerous ignorance of history. Continue reading

Watch for Mr. Europe!

If you’re looking for Nazis, you’re 70 years late to the party.

The nation has taken a different approach through proxies stacked within the Troika (European Commission, IMF and European Central bank). Germany then uses these institutions to economically force member nations to submit to their will or face a crash and its leaders will be out of power. Thankfully, the United States has its pawn running the IMF with Legarde, but 2/3 is enough to get things done their way as we’ve seen with Greece, now a German vassal state.

Through the shaped engineered unrest coming and a predetermined solution already at hand, The United States of Europe will be born — the world’s next superpower courtesy of the Fourth Reich. The EU Army is already being formed and the rest is not far behind.

Conditions on the Continent are ripe for the rise of a dictator.

Europe—homeland of Justinian, of Charlemagne, of Napoleon, stomping grounds of many of history’s most fearsome rulers—is suffering a crisis of leadership.

It’s not for lack of government. The place is crawling with bureaucrats. But Europeans, swaddled in red tape, are like children in an orphanage: nannies everywhere—but oh, how they need a father. Continue reading

Sunset of the Nation-State

An article too good to post only a piece of:

Brace yourself for the most fundamental world change in 200 years, all foretold by your Bible!

If you were to look on the geopolitical horizon, it would appear we are heading toward a dark abyss. The dimming light has been noticeable for awhile, but the bright achievements of the past kept the future illuminated. Yet we are quickly coming to a point when a fundamental change in world order will bring about the worse time on Earth. We will have to pass through the night to get to the dawn.

This geopolitical twilight is partly being precipitated by the demise of the nation-state. The days of empire are returning. The age when people could enjoy the autonomy to govern themselves freely, while enjoying unique freedoms and protection from aggressors, is passing. This is a fundamental change to the established world order.

By examining history, current events and Bible prophecy, this important trend becomes crystal clear.

You need to know where events are leading. This geopolitical shift has everything to do with your future. No matter where you live or what you do, this change will affect your life in a dramatic way! Continue reading

ECB & Troika Retaliate Against Greek People

Some readers sent in comments that my use of the phrase “World War III by economic means using the pen” was harsh, so let me state this very clearly. Brussels and the Troika will NEVER back down. To them, the euro is irreversible and they refuse to see that their policies are dead wrong. Proof that this is the conquest of Europe with the pretense of good intentions to eliminate war: you cannot carry out such a noble goal by sheer force. Both Napoleon and Hitler could have said the same thing. Their conquest of Europe was to end war by creating once again the Roman Empire. As they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Pope Calls for New World Government

Never has a declaration from the pope been more hotly anticipated. The leaking of an early draft of Pope Francis’s latest encyclical—an official addition to Catholic doctrine—certainly helped. The fact that it deals with global warming means that it has been discussed across many media outlets that rarely pay close attention to papal pronouncements. Britain’s left-wing Guardian newspaper even published whole sections of it and live-blogged its release.

This suits the pope’s purpose for the document perfectly. In his introduction he makes clear that, unlike his last encyclical, he is not just writing to members of the Catholic Church. Instead, he writes, “I would like to enter into dialogue with all people.” The Guardian called it “the most astonishing and perhaps the most ambitious papal document of the past 100 years.”

Government & God – Obama Threatens the Vatican

Anyone who thinks government respects religion had better stop watching sports and drinking too much. There is a whole different reality waiting for you. Obama threatened to shutdown the Catholic Church from receiving any money out of the USA, or sending any money to the USA unless it complied with FATCA. Obama, showing his true colors, has no respect for religion. The Vatican has been forced to comply with U.S. tax authorities, demonstrating that Obama is hunting every piece of loose change he can find (See Agreement: FATCA-Agreement-Holy-See-6-10-2015). “Too Big for Europe”: The Recurring German Problem

German chancellor Otto von Bismarck, May 18, 1889

Today’s Germany emerged in 1990 when the formerly communist East Germany was incorporated into the Federal Republic. Nearly half a century of disunion had left an economic and social divide in the country that took more than two decades to mend — and some imbalances remain. Historically, however, the more pertinent geographical divide in Germany has been between its north and south.

This Nord-Süd-Gefälle actually mended an economic divide that had previously been to the advantage of the north. Trade centers like Bremen and Hamburg, as well as Berlin, have since imitated the south’s focus on high technology and employed more workers in services.

Competition between the highly autonomous Länder and Germany’s big cities stems from its long division into different sovereign states. Prussia, which had come to occupy virtually the whole of the North European Plain during the Napoleonic Wars, including today’s northern and western Poland as well as Russia’s Kaliningrad province, was by far the most powerful. Its prime minister, Otto von Bismarck, forged an empire out of the many German kingdoms and principalities in 1871. Continue reading

Why Russia Needs Eastern Europe — And why Eastern Europe needs to be rid of Russia

(Click to enlarge) Russia’s border with Europe is the bloodiest place in the world.

Russia’s border with Europe is the bloodiest place in the world. Caught between the major powers of the West and the might of Russia, the region has seen some of the worst conflicts in history.

During World War II, roughly 17 million soldiers lost their lives in battles on the Eastern front. By way of comparison, in the West, fewer than four million soldiers died—including D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge and all the other battles we hear about more often. And these figures don’t include the huge number of civilians who lost their lives in the Battle of Stalingrad or the Siege of Leningrad, and other horrific clashes.

The numbers for World War i are also appalling; rough estimates indicate that 5 million soldiers lost their lives fighting on the Eastern front.

Conflicts between Europe and Russia are bloody and frequent. This history gives the context necessary to appreciate what is happening in Ukraine, and how Europe will react.

The EU was HITLER’S idea and it proves Germany WON the Second World War, claims new book

While it may be hard to prove the book’s claims are correct, it would also be difficult to say that the EU is not a German project leading towards a United States of Europe. Every time the EU economy sinks, Germany gets richer and the only EU solution, as prescribed by the unelected German-led Troika, is pushing and forcing member states into further integration.

THE ‘fascist’ EU was inspired and designed by the NAZIS and is proof Hitler won the Second World War, an outrageous new book is claiming.

‘The EU: The Truth About The Fourth Reich – How Hitler Won The Second World War’ argues the single currency, the free market and even the phrase “United States of Europe” were all dreamt up by high ranking Nazis, including the Fuhrer himself.

It also claims the only country which benefits from the EU is Germany – just as Hitler planned.

A spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats – which its leader Nick Clegg describes as the “party of in” when it comes to the EU – dismissed the authors of the book as “peddling outlandish myths”.

The book, co-written by Daniel J Beddowes and Falvio Cipollini, says: “What is the EU for? Who really benefits? And the answer is of course Germany.  Continue reading

Venice votes in referendum on splitting from Rome

Voting has begin in Venice and the surrounding region on whether to break away from Italy.

Recent opinion polls suggest that two-thirds of the four million electorate favour splitting from Rome, but the vote will not be legally binding.

The poll was organised by local activists and parties, who want a future state called Republic of Veneto. Continue reading

Fidel Castro says his economic system is failing

Another possible ‘misquoted’ remark that is surely in the future to be corrected, just like when he said communism didn’t work.

It was a casual remark over a lunch of salad, fish and red wine but future historians are likely to parse and ponder every word: “The Cuban model doesn’t even work for us any more.”

Fidel Castro’s nine-word confession, dropped into conversation with a visiting US journalist and policy analyst, undercuts half a century of thundering revolutionary certitude about Cuban socialism.

That the island’s economy is a disaster is hardly news but that the micro-managing “maximum leader” would so breezily acknowledge it has astonished observers. Continue reading

The Ramifications of the U.S. Drawdown in Europe

Europe will be weaned from its military dependence on the U.S. as Washington’s ability and willingness to defend Europe rapidly erodes. Charles Kupchan, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, said the overall message from the U.S.’s decision to withdraw more troops is that “Europe is going to need to start taking more care of its own defense, that they won’t be able to call on the U.S. in the same way as the past.”

Nick Witney, a former head of the European Defense Agency, said, “Europe is going to have to grow up and learn to take responsibility for its own security, without Uncle Sam to prod and cajole.”

The U.S. pullback from Europe is also making the solution to the second obstacle obvious to more and more onlookers.

The U.S. drawdown is telling us that “we have to do our job,” said European Defense Agency Chief Executive Claude-France Arnould. “We should go full speed ahead with pooling and sharing.”

“It’s always been obvious what needs to be done—taking a more collective approach to Europe’s security,” said Kupchan.

The United States has defined security in Europe for many decades, but it is increasingly urging the nations of the EU to take charge of their own defense. European nations can see that the U.S. is now a bankrupt nation with a broken will, and they are preparing to fill the void Washington is leaving by multiplying their own forces and pooling them together. Bible prophecy reveals that the end result of Europe’s military pooling and multiplying will be a German-led force so powerful it will eclipse the armies of Hitler, Napoleon and even Charlemagne. To understand the significance of this staggering European military power, and how it is connected to the most inspiring news a publication could ever proclaim, read Germany and the Holy Roman Empire.
