Iran: U.S. Encouraging Islamic Republic to Keep Illicit Missile Tests Secret

A senior Iranian military commander claimed that U.S. officials are quietly encouraging the Islamic Republic to keep its illicit ballistic missile tests a secret so as not to raise concerns in the region, according to Persian language comments.

Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Aerospace and Missile Force, said in recent remarks that the Obama administration does not want Iran to publicize its ongoing missile tests, which have raised questions about the Islamic Republic’s commitment to last summer’s comprehensive nuclear agreement. Major Powers and their Wars (II)

BERLIN (Own report) – In an article published by the leading German foreign policy journal, an influential diplomat predicts that worldwide, there will be a further increase in the number of wars and their victims, this year. “The number of conflicts, their victims, and their refugees” has been increasing worldwide, for the past five years and this development will “most likely continue this year.” The journal, “Internationale Politik,” substantiates this assumption by presenting an overview of the current wars. Today’s deadliest wars – in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, and South Sudan – are indeed a direct or indirect outcome of western hegemonic policies. With its military interventions or subversive support for insurgents, this policy is aimed at provoking pro-western putsches or weakening non-compliant states. “Internationale Politik” assesses the possibility of conflicts in China’s vicinity. During the years of China’s rise, western powers were unsuccessful in knitting strong ties with the resource-rich Arab world, in view of the impending power struggle with the People’s Republic of China. This power struggle is already emerging.

Former Libyan official: ISIL got Gadhafi’s chemical weapons

Ahmad Qadhaf Al-Dam, a cousin of Gadhafi, made the claim in an interview with the Egyptian Dream TV network on Jan. 18. His comments were translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

“It is no secret that these gases exist in Libya,” Al-Dam replied. “To be fair, ISIL is not the only one. Everyone has poisonous gases. It’s not only in Libya. Everybody knows this. The Western countries know this. They have spies [in Libya]. They are the ones who attacked Libya, and then left these dangerous weapons there.” Continue reading

Consistencies in Western Hegemonic Policy

DAMASCUS/MOSCOW/WASHINGTON/BERLIN (Own report) – Berlin has sharply criticized Russian bombing raids in Syria. In a joint declaration with governments of several allied countries, including Turkey and Saudi Arabia, the German government claims the Russian Air Force did not target the “Islamic State” (IS) but the “Syrian opposition and civilians,” and calls on Moscow to “immediately cease” these attacks. Russian bombers, however, have not only hit bases of the IS and other jihadi militias, but also the facilities of western-armed combatants, participating in the al-Nusra Front’s offensive. Al-Nusra is the Syrian branch of al Qaeda, the primary target in the West’s post 9/11 “War on Terror.” The Russian air raids highlight a significant increase of Moscow’s influence in the Middle East and the growing influence of non-Western powers in world affairs. They are another blow to western global hegemony.

Al Qaeda Terrorist Threat Is Growing

The threat posed by al Qaeda terrorism around the world continues to increase despite President Barack Obama’s recent claim that the central group behind the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks is on the path to defeat, according to U.S. and foreign counterterrorism officials and private experts.

While terrorist threats still exist, “the core of al Qaeda in Pakistan and Afghanistan is on the path to defeat,” the president said.

However, a U.S. counterterrorism official said the threat posed by al Qaeda is growing. “From Africa to Pakistan, it is spreading systematically,” the official said. Continue reading

Germany’s Entire Gold Hoard At The Fed May Already Be Gone

Today a legend in the business told King World News, “… the German gold hoard, which is supposed to be stored at the Fed, may already be gone.”  Keith Barron, who consults with major companies around the world and is responsible for one of the largest gold discoveries in the last quarter century, also believes countries like Germany, Austria, and others are in serious danger of having claims on their gold stored at the Fed evaporate.

Here is what Barron had to say:  “This has been happening for quite some time.  In fact, I can remember hearing 6 or 7 years ago that Gaddafi wanted all of his gold back from New York.  There were several tons going on a transport plane out of New York once a week to Libya.”

“He (Gaddafi) just didn’t trust any other government with it.  Of course we all know what happened to him eventually.  His gold has kind of gone missing (appropriated), and nobody knows where it is now.  This is the problem the Germans, Austrians, and various other countries are facing. Savage: Islamic takeover hatched in Obama’s ‘ivory tower’

The policy that has hastened the political rise of Islamic radicalism and the attacks on diplomatic missions in Egypt and Libya in the wake of the so-called “Arab Spring” was hatched in the “ivory tower” of the Obama administration, charged talk-radio host Michael Savage today.

“We’ve gone from the ivory tower to the loss of power, literally in one administration,” he told his “Savage Nation” audience.

Savage pointed to three women in the Obama administration who helped advance the policy that ousted Libyan dictator Muammar Gadhafi and created the political vacuum in which radical jihadists attacked the U.S. Consulate today and killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and four others.

Secretary of Stare Hillary Clinton, Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice and Special Assistant to the President Samantha Power convinced Obama to go to war with Libya based not on American interests, but on a doctrine championed by leftist billionaire activist George Soros, Savage noted.

Savage noted he predicted in his book “Trickle Down Tyranny” that the Obama policy would help bring the Islamic radicals to power

The decision to go to war against Gadhafi, Savage wrote in his book, “reveals just how flimsy Obama’s foreign policy was in the testosterone-free zone known as the Obama White House.”

Savage recalled Hillary Clinton’s boast in an interview with CBS News after Gadhafi was killed last October.

“We came, we saw, he died,” she said, laughing.
