Report: Opposition research firm that funded Trump ‘dossier’ has extensive ties to Democrat Party

Ex-British spy Christopher Steele

Fusion GPS, the firm which financed the discredited “dossier” by a former British spy that fueled the investigations into alleged Trump-Russia collusion, is packed with Democrats who supported Hillary Clinton in 2016, a report said.

Fusion GPS describes itself as a “research and strategic intelligence firm” founded by “three former Wall Street Journal investigative reporters,” author Paul Sperry wrote for the New York Post on June 24. Continue reading

Before attacking Trump team’s Russia ties, top Democrats were currying favor in Moscow

Democratic Party leaders who are currently blasting Moscow’s alleged meddling in the 2016 elections and condemning President-elect Donald Trump’s supposed close ties to Vladimir Putin were not too long ago seeking “deepening ties” – and sometimes huge wads of cash – from the very same Russians.

Hillary Clinton as secretary of state in 2010 “was leading the way in urging U.S.-Russia business expansion, complete with an American high-tech delegation to Moscow and U.S. investments in Russian cyberskills,” Rowan Scarborough reported for The Washington Times on Dec. 18.

Now, Clinton and the Obama administration claim Putin ordered cyberattacks against the Democratic National Committee and Russia provided embarrassing stolen emails to WikiLeaks. Continue reading

WORLD MATTERS: Yes, European conservatives agree, U.S. politics and media are in free fall

Pardon an outburst from a fervent friend of the United States: Yes, Secretary of State John Kerry is right! This year’s election campaign is indeed an embarrassment to America!

As Kerry said, America’s friends around the world are shocked. I am a European conservative, and I am shocked. I speak with friends in Europe every day, including senior officials in Germany and seasoned political observers in France. And they are shocked by this country’s descent into abject vulgarity at a time when the world yearns for American leadership displaying wisdom and values. Continue reading

Trump’s call to restore American sovereignty panics globalist elites on Left and Right

It’s official: Donald Trump is America’s Hitler.

This is now the relentless drumbeat of the mainstream media, along with the Democratic and GOP establishment. The Republican front-runner is being smeared and demonized in a way not seen since Ronald Reagan.

Back then, liberals and Beltway Republicans — including George H.W. Bush — attacked Reagan for being an economic know-nothing, an “extremist,” a “militarist” and according to The New York Times, a “fascist.” For the ruling elites, Reagan was the new “Hitler.”

Was Greece Set Up To Fail?

Not only was Greece set up to burn and have an example made of it by Wolfgang Schäuble, according to former U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, the entire Euro was designed to fail. All roads are leading to Berlin and it’s Fourth Reich dominating the continent.

My ‘job’ here is by no means done, anyway. Because of the general strike today, another Solidarity Clinic that I wanted to donate some of your AE for Athens Fund money to, is closed (update on the Fund tomorrow). Parliament is debating the latest Troika strangle plan as we speak, and who knows what tomorrow will bring? An entire economy is being deliberately suffocated, and all in all it’s just total madness. Quiet madness, though (update: and then the riots broke out..).Two things I’ve been repeatedly asked to convey to you are that:

1) you can’t trust any Greek poll or media, because the media are so skewed to one side of the political spectrum, and that side is not SYRIZA (can you imagine any other country where almost all the media are against the government, tell outright lies, use any trick in and outside the book, and the government still gets massive public support?!),

and:

2) Athens is the safest city on the planet. I can fully attest to that. Not one single moment of even a hint of a threat, and that in a city that feels very much under siege (don’t underestimate that). And people should come here, and thereby support the country’s economy. Don’t go to Spain or France this year, go to Greece. Europe is trying to blow this country up; don’t allow them to. Russian Spy Igor Sporyshev Arrested In NYC, Wall Street ‘Meltdown’ Allegedly Planned

Russian spies were reportedly running around New York City, planning to take down the heart of the financial sector on Wall Street. Accused Russian spy Igor Sporyshev was in NYC as part of an alleged “espionage ring” planning and recruiting on American soil. The 40-year-old alleged spy is the son of a high-ranking Russian intelligence officer.

Igor Sporyshev was allegedly working with fellow accused Russian spy, Victor Podobnyy. The 27-year-old alleged was registered as a trade representative from the former Soviet Union and was reportedly tasked with recruiting women into their cause. Podobnyy left the United States on Monday, citing diplomatic immunity protections. Continue reading

Beware: Putin, the wounded animal

It’s quite easy to see the list of damage Putin can do to the United States and its allies, even the world over, if you’ve been awake the last few years and haven’t been spoon-fed half-truths by CNN/FOX/NBC et al. A long tracklist of capabilities and actions have been documented here within the cyberwarfare and economic warfare realm. SCADAs would also be a perfectly precise example in vulnerability.

This site is far from being pro-Russian yet is far from being unaware of the United States suicidal social and economic decline, reluctance to maintain any sensible defense as it purges and destroys its own military, or lack of will to protect its own critical infrastructure — and the consequences that stem from this.

America is in free fall and mortal danger. Warning signs are all around and alarms have been going off for years, but the lights are off and nobody is home.

Please see video HERE or on the source link.

The sanctions hurt Russia a bit, but now oil’s freefall is causing the ruble to crash and slamming that nation with a guaranteed recession or even depression. This would be something worthy of extreme vigilance for the U.S. government and investors alike even if Russia were a true democracy governed by at least semi-responsible leaders. But it’s worse. Much worse.

In short, Putin is like a Augusto Pinochet or a Juan Perón … but with much more steely resolve, a massive military, and nuclear bombs.

But even with Putin’s extremely visible and frightening track record before us, it’s clear the Obama administration and even the investment community is still not prepared for the extent of the damage the Russian leader can unleash on his own people, on his neighbors, and on the U.S. financial markets.

There is nothing more dangerous than a wounded animal. Vladimir Putin is wounded — and he’s not known for holding back.

Take advantage of US indifference

What the author here fails to understand is that China and Russia, while surely not true allies, are allied together out of convenience against America. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” goes the saying. This is also the main purpose behind founding the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. It is both a soon-to-be created Asian bloc hegemony against the West and a new world war axis.

One thing the auther has right, however, is that there’s a division being sewn between the United States and Europe out of changing internal salient issues. What the future holds exactly is anyone’s guess. However what will likely happen, and sooner rather than later, is that we might see NATO being dismantled because of the false notion that there is no USSR and it’s now a peaceful democracy. All is well and there is no need for America’s protection. Couple this with European resentment towards America’s ongoing wars and political differences. As the EU sorts itself out and becomes more intergrated — a United States of Europe, if you will — we will indeed likely see a “European army” that a lot of top politicians across the continent have been calling for for quite a while now. Something has to fill the gap and this will be NATO’s replacement.

No matter whether Mitt Romney or Barack Obama is elected as the next president of the United States on November 6, he will think Pacific rather than Atlantic; Asia rather than Europe. The most convincing sign of this change is that during their foreign policy debate neither of the candidates mentioned Europe or NATO, substantial allies on which all US diplomacy relied for some seven decades. Election 2012: How The Winner Will Destroy America

This couldn’t be any more correct as the left-right paradigm nowadays is a complete sham, as both candidates are the same. They will tell you whatever you want to hear and masqurade as whatever you want to see during the campaign while knowing 99% of the public doesn’t research the track record that concludes what will happen when elected. There is a systemic failure of the public and its ability to read between the lines or discern the core ideology of any candidate, their true beliefs and what drives them to accomplish their objectives, whatever that may be.

It’s truly a sad state of affairs when people choose who they believe will inflict the country with the least amount of damage. What’s more is that the public perpetuates the same mindset every four years expecting a different result — the definition of crazy according to some.

One element people can surely add to the author’s article here is that the “Silent Majority” everyone has talked about for decades is probably one of the most dangerous (non)-voting blocs in American history. Why? Because, as the first word in the adopted category name states, they’re silent do-nothings. Per usual, 2012 didn’t prove otherwise.

After all the hollow and uninspired elections that this country has suffered through over the past several decades, one might think that at some point long ago the American public would have finally struck a plateau of disenfranchisement; that we could sink no further into despondency, that there is a saturation limit to the corruption of our voting process.  Unfortunately, there has been no such luck.  I have to say that in all honesty I have never seen more people gut jumbled and disgusted with our electoral system than I have in 2012.  Sure, there is still a hyper-gullible segment of the populous that continues to play the game, but even those idiots are beginning to admit that the choices offered are dismal at best, catastrophic at worst.  The fog of the false Left/Right paradigm is starting to lift, and all that lay in its wake is a hoard of lost wide-eyed flabbergasted followers without a coattail or a talking point to cling to.  Sudanese refugees have a better chance of survival than these people do… Continue reading

Past inattention, present budget woes mean US Air Force must keep its aging warhorses flying

As the US Air Force technology becomes outdated, it becomes more expensive to maintain. Ironically and unfortunately, cuts have been made mostly in newer tech which only further compounds the problem of an aging military power.

For decades, the U.S. Air Force has grown accustomed to such superlatives as unrivaled and unbeatable. These days, some of its key combat aircraft are being described with terms like geriatric, or decrepit.

The aging of the U.S. Air Force, a long-simmering topic in defense circles, made a brief appearance in the presidential debates when Republican nominee Mitt Romney cited it as evidence of the decline of U.S. military readiness. His contention that the Navy is the smallest it’s been since 1917 got more attention, thanks to President Barack Obama’s quip that the Navy also has fewer “horses and bayonets.” Continue reading

Regardless Who Wins

WASHINGTON/BERLIN (Own report) – Regardless of who will win the presidential elections in the United States, German political observers are not anticipating a change of course in U.S. foreign policy. “It is essentially immaterial who wins,” predicts an expert at the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP). That country’s “enormous economic problems” leave the next US president with “hardly any margin of maneuver.” And according to the CDU’s Konrad Adenauer Foundation, one can “more than likely expect a continuity, rather than a change” in the coming U.S. foreign and military policy. The Republican candidate, Mitt Romney’s aggressive rhetoric can “be considered, with good conscience, to be the baying of an electoral campaign.” Observers agree that Romney – like Obama – will reinforce US presence on China’s East and Southeast Asian periphery. It can also be assumed that he will continue the Democrat president’s drone wars, should he win the elections. Both will order military attacks on Iran, if Iran should equip itself with nuclear arms, the Adenauer Foundation predicts. Berlin must adapt itself to this situation. Continue reading

Spreading Iranian cyber attacks hit Israeli military, US financial and Gulf oil targets

Also on Thursday, US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta unveiled his “pre-9/11 moment” speech which revealed that for two weeks, hackers had been hammering the websites of big American banks, the Saudi national oil company Aramco and Qatar’s Rasgas. In a strong comment, he said the US would strike back and consider a preemptive strike against cyber terrorism, without saying how or actually naming Iran.

However in leaks to the American media, former U.S. government officials and cyber-security experts reported that the administration believes Iranian-based hackers were responsible for what Panetta warned could be the first “cyber Pearl Harbor” against America. Continue reading

Politician Warns America Soon to Be Vulnerable to Foreign Invasion

Today your average American would never believe it. For one, the public is only being spoon-fed the news that the media declares as news — not what the true salient issues of today are. Two, because of being dished this ‘news’ for such a long period of time, anything like this article is likely to be dismissed as a wacko conspiracy theory. Three, today’s culture cares more about whether the Lakers won (then riot if not) and if they can keep up with the Kardashians. As long as people can have the latest iPhone and continue as a shopping mall regime, everything is just dandy. When the big economic hit comes, reality will slap 99.9% of the unprepared/unaware public in the face and create a crisis of existence for America as we know it. Collapse is a foregone conclusion, there is no coming back. How America will cope is the bigger question. The tone may have a negative ring to it, and it’s wished to be wrong, but it is what it is.

American businessman and former third-party presidential candidate Ross Perot is refusing to endorse either Mitt Romney or Barack Obama in this year’s election battle, saying that neither candidate has a viable debt reduction plan.

“We’re on the edge of the cliff, and we have got to start fixing it now. Otherwise, we’re leaving a disaster to our children’s and our grandchildren’s future,” Perot said in an interview last week with USA Today’s Richard Wolf.

The national debt has quadrupled in the 20 years since Perot first started sounding his warning about government spending. Now that the national debt has exceeded the gross domestic product, the government has to print more and more money as overseas investors become less and less willing to lend more.

Perot is now warning that without substantive economic fixes of a magnitude far greater than those being espoused by either presidential candidate, the United States could even lose its sovereignty. Continue reading

What If November Changes Nothing?

As judge Napolitano points out, there are more similarities between the two candidates than before thought… Napolitano makes the point: The public doesn’t realize they’re voting for the same person. What if the fix is in?

What if the principal parties’ candidates for president really agree more than they disagree?

What if they both support the authority of the federal government to spy on Americans without search warrants? What if they both support confining foreigners, uncharged and untried, in Guantanamo Bay? What if they both believe the president can arrest without charge and confine without trial any American he hates or fears?

What if both major presidential candidates believe they can fight any war, assassinate any foe or assault any country using the military or the CIA, and they need not ask Congress for a declaration of war as the Constitution requires, nor account to Congress or the public as the law requires? What if they both want American troops to remain in Afghanistan, even though no foreign country in history has successfully done so, and even though the culture in Afghanistan is as lawless, as vicious to women and children, and as harmless to America today as it was when President Bush invaded it in 2001?

What if they both think this costly and fruitless war – the longest in American history – is somehow good for American freedom and security, even though most Americans do not? What if they both refuse to understand that the longer we are killing people in foreign lands who can cause us no real harm the more likely will people from those lands come here and bring us real harm?

What if President Obama wants to raise taxes by increasing some tax rates on the rich? What if Gov. Romney wants to raise taxes by eliminating some tax deductions available to the rich? What if raising taxes on anyone in a recession will cause higher unemployment?

What if they both believe in borrowing newly printed money from the Federal Reserve in order to fund the government? What if Obama is of the view that the federal government can tell you how to live and keep you from becoming too rich? What if Romney wants to make the same federal government more effective and efficient at what it does?

What if Obama is really a Marxist who rejects personal freedom, natural rights and private property? What if Romney is really an empty suit who doesn’t know or won’t say what he believes? What if Obama really wants all health care providers to work for the federal government? What if Romney spent the entire presidential primary season condemning Obamacare, only to say this past weekend that there are parts of it he really likes and will endeavor to retain?

What if Obama wants federal bureaucrats to ration health care and decide who lives and who dies? What if Romney spent the entire presidential primary season running against conservative and libertarian opponents and arguing that only the free market or the states should address health care, but earlier this week accepted a major federal role in its management?

What if Obama will have the feds tell you what doctor to see and tell the doctor what procedures to administer? What if Romney consistently blasted the concept that Congress can constitutionally force you to buy health care coverage you don’t want to buy, but now accepts the concept that Congress can constitutionally force insurance companies to sell you health care coverage they don’t want to sell?

What if the system is fixed? What do we do about it?

Will Israel Nuke Iran?

One does not go to Harvard, obtain a law degree, become a professor… then make 500 mistakes in a row in the course of almost (only) four years and get to claim incompetence. Having said this, to the contrary of having an incompetent in the White House as the author puts it, Obama comes off as quite purposeful and methodical — and it proves difficult to claim otherwise. Being called and believed to be an idiot makes for great cover, and grants more leverage in continuing to make more “mistakes”.

This latest split underscores the point of his well-thought planning. In this case, the purpose on reneging on partnership with Israel is (at least) four-fold:

1. Obama won’t be labeled a collaborator should Israel strike first.

2. Abandonment puts Israel, feeling its entire existence is at stake, in a dangerous position needing to strike first — therefore looking like the “bad guy” and the cause of all the worlds ills in the wake of destruction from the domino effect likely setting the entire Middle Eastern region on fire.

3. With the threat from Iran that an attack from Israel is the same as an attack from the United States, an Israeli first strike would indeed drag the US into the fold. The crucial point here is that the US will have pre-positioned itself in a “defensive” position that now justifies an American strike on Iran.

4. Whatever the catalyst for war may be, which seems to be right around the corner, Obama will have gained sufficient political leverage he has always wanted over the tiny Jewish state. As one article puts it, should he be re-elected — and with or without war, he will make them pay.

GOP candidate for President Mitt Romney released the following statement in response to the actions of Obama and the democratic party:

“It is unfortunate that the entire Democratic Party has embraced President Obama’s shameful refusal to acknowledge that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital. Four years of President Obama’s repeated attempts to create distance between the United States and our cherished ally have led the Democratic Party to remove from their platform an unequivocal acknowledgment of a simple reality. As president, I will restore our relationship with Israel and stand shoulder to shoulder with our close ally.”

So. The damage has been done and a price will be exacted.

Obama, in league with Comrade Putin of Russia, has made sure that Iran will acquire a nuclear weapon. In turn, they have also assured that Israel WILL attack Iran. The only question now, for this scribe, is whether Israel will feel the need to employ their substantial nuclear arsenal against the nuclear facilities of Iran. I mean—tactical or strategic nukes could be substituted by Israel for the MOP (Massive Ordnance Penetrator) deep depth bunker buster bombs the Obama Administration has refused them.

Far from deterring Israel, Obama has all but assured there WILL be a confrontation between Israel and Iran, which will, in all likelihood, envelope the entire Middle East and surely draw the US into the fray within days—if not hours.

This act of utter lunacy on the part of Obama—AND the Democratic Party—may very well be the spark that ignites the region in nuclear war.

Not since the Carter Administration has America had such an incompetent in the White House. His incompetence may now cost the lives of untold thousands, even hundreds of thousands, of Middle Easterners—as well as US military personnel.

It is a well known fact that a man, backed against a wall with is life in imminent danger, will fight more fiercely. He will use whatever means, anything he can lay his hands on, to defend and preserve his life. Israel is that man with his back against the wall fighting for his life.
