Russia creates new Aerospace Force service branch

The Aerospace Forces (VKS) has been formed by the merger of the Russian Air Force (VVS) and the Russian Aerospace Defence Forces (VKO).

Speaking during a teleconference, Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu stated that “joining the Air Forces and Aerospace Defence is the best option to improve the system of aerospace defence of the country”, as reported by Russia’s TASS news agency. Continue reading

Chinese Defense Ministry Confirms Hypersonic Missile Test

Since the Chinese are already competing with the latest US technology and not trying to catch up, it’s only a short matter of time before America loses its edge and first-strike capability. Having all the latest warplanes or navy tech doesn’t matter if you can’t stop a missile — a missile that they will likely mass produce since they have over 95% of the world’s rare earths under contract, plus the ability to hide it under thousands of miles of nuclear-hardened tunnel systems.

The Chinese are now running parallel wih America and this is proof. Sadly, most of America is unaware and those that do know are either turning a blind eye or are supressed by the Obama administration.

Gulf states seek integrated air defence

DUBAI // Arabian Gulf states aim to integrate their air defence systems to meet threats from ballistic and cruise missiles.

“Advances in science and technology have made the world networked and connected,” said Maj Gen Staff Pilot Mohammed bin Sweidan Saeed Al Qamzi, commander of the Air Force and Air Defence.

“We need to be a single force to overcome our common threats and challenges. While the UAE faces no armed conflicts, civil wars or internal instability, we must remain vigilant to deter conflicts that are occurring regionally. The Geopolitics of Missile Defence in Poland
