Kim Jong-Un: Absolute power — and an H-bomb to wield it

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un ranks among the world’s youngest heads of state, but has some of its most powerful weapons at his disposal.

Sunday’s test of what appeared to be a powerful, full-fledged thermonuclear bomb, marked yet another watershed in Kim’s relentless drive as leader to turn the North into a credible — and feared — nuclear-armed state.

In the process, he has simply shrugged off international warnings and economic sanctions, as well as bellicose threats from US President Donald Trump of possible military strikes if he persists. Continue reading

Light wars: space-based lasers among Beijing’s hi-tech arms

The blinding and destroying of American military satellites by China in warfare, enabling an almost-unhindered invasion of the American mainland, is called “assassin’s mace“.

Both can be researched further with the following articles:

AMERICA’S ACUPUNCTURE POINTS, PART 1: Striking the US where it hurts

AMERICA’S ACUPUNCTURE POINTS, PART 2: The assassin’s mace

As you can see after reading the articles, it’s imperative and in America’s best interests to stop playing games with its military budget and wasting time with focusing on thousands of individual terrorists that multiply after their death.

The US relies on its network of satellites to maintain a strategic edge over rivals. This makes a target-rich environment for space-based weapons. Photo: screenshot of Nasa image.

Arsenal including electromagnetic railguns and microwave weapons aims to neutralize web of satellites that give US its main strategic edge

China’s military is developing powerful lasers, electromagnetic railguns and high-power microwave weapons for use in a future “light war” involving space-based attacks on satellites.

Beijing’s push to produce so-called directed-energy weapons aims to neutralize America’s key strategic advantage: the web of intelligence, communication and navigation satellites enabling military strikes of unparalleled precision expeditionary warfare far from US shores.

The idea of a space-based laser gun was disclosed in the journal Chinese Optics in December 2013 by three researchers, Gao Ming-hui, Zeng Yu-quang and Wang Zhi-hong. All work for the Changchun Institute for Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics – the leading center for laser weapons technology. Continue reading

Tensions Between US/NATO & Russia Are Flaring Dangerously

As if there weren’t enough crises to worry about in the world already, from shooting rampages to accelerating species loss, the US and NATO continue to ‘poke the bear’ and risk an outbreak of war with Russia.

I wish this were idle speculation. But if you haven’t been paying close attention, you’ll probably be shocked at just how much direct military and diplomatic provocation has been going on between NATO/US and Russia over the past several years — and in recent weeks, in particular.

Even more shocking is that no one in power can provide us with a compelling reason for exactly why these tensions are flaring. It seems that Russia’s main sin is in not entirely, completely and immediately giving the US/NATO anything and everything they request.

In other words, it’s imperial hubris and petulance that seems to be driving the ship of state. That’s a dangerous thing. Continue reading

Russia Developing Universal Platform for Combat Robots

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The platform, entirely designed by Russian engineers, can be controlled remotely and operated in an urban environment, he emphasized.

“The URP-01G robotic platform is a universal armored vehicle designed to work in locations that represent a serious threat to people’s lives. It can be used during military action, reconnaissance, emergency situations, rescue operations and demining,” Sergey Skokov told reporters. Continue reading

Saudi Arabia chases closer ties with China amid US tension

CNBC is doing their best to downplay and whitewash the threat, however, from the daily headlines one can easily see China along with other nations are undermining the USA’s stability. They’re working on dethroning the Dollar, creating an alternative to the American-led internet, cyber hacking critical infrastructure/financial systems/military networks and so on. America is under full assault and it’s not difficult to see for those who would rather follow the news and not the Kardashians.

Saudi Arabia was already disappointed by the Obama administration’s decision to side with Russia and opt against military strikes on Syria, effectively ending Saudi hopes that the U.S. would turn the tide against the Iran-allied government of Bashar Assad in Damascus.

“The Syrian issue was the straw that broke the camel’s back. The kingdom is concerned that any victory for Assad would boost Iran’s regional influence,” Naser Al-Tamimi, author of “China-Saudi Arabia Relations, 1990-2012: Marriage of Convenience or Strategic Alliance?” explained to CNBC. Israel Hints at New Strikes, Warning Syria Not to Hit Back

WASHINGTON — In a clear warning to Syria to stop the transfer of advanced weapons to Islamic militants in the region, a senior Israeli official signaled on Wednesday that Israel was considering additional military strikes to prevent that from happening and that the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, would face crippling consequences if he retaliated. Iran set to expand nuclear activity in underground facility, sources say

IAEA envoy expects to see Iranian efforts ‘jump’ in Fordo site near Qom, located deep inside a mountain to protect it from possible airstrikes.

“I think we will see a jump in the potential state of readiness of the facility,” one Vienna-based envoy said.

Fordo is of particular concern for the West and Israel as Iran is shifting the most controversial aspect of its nuclear work, refining uranium to a level that takes it significantly closer to potential bomb material, to the site.

Estimated to be buried beneath 80 meters of rock and soil, it gives Iran better protection against any Israeli or U.S. military strikes.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak has warned that the Islamic state’s nuclear research could soon pass into what he called a “zone of immunity,” protected from outside disruption.
