RUSSIA has tested more than 160 new weapons since intervening in Syria last year, the Kremlin revealed today.
Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said the systems included Su-30SM and Su-34 fighter jets and Mi-28N and Ka-52 helicopters.
He told senior Russian officials: “During the operation in Syria, 162 advanced and upgraded weapons have been tested in combat.
