German chancellor Angela Merkel on Tuesday backed the idea of creating a “real, true” army for the European Union as the geopolitical alliances are redrawn all over the world.

Merkel spoke to MEPs in Strasbourg on Tuesday (13 November) backing up France’s Emmanuel Macron’s call last week for a European army, and rebuking US president Donald Trump, who has tweeted that the idea was “insulting”.

The German chancellor, who has already announced this is her last term in office, also called for a European security council with a rotating presidency of each EU member state, “where decisions can be made more rapidly”.

“The time when we can rely on others have passed, we have to take our fate into our own hands if we want to defend our community,” Merkel told the European Parliament. Continue reading

The Changing Face of European Politics?

Twenty-eight ‘member nations’ of the European Union will vote for European Parliament representatives that hold no real power. Essentially, as in Russia and today’s America, people go to the poll centers because they’re purposely mislead to believe into thinking that they are part of some sort of democratic process. If they’re physically there, it sinks into their minds as such, which fulfills the aim. As with America, it’s another story. It’s yet to fully evolve into what Russia has become, which is to say all candidates from all parties are in the same party, but it’s roughly 85% there.

You say to yourself: “What can I do?” Nothing, because you don’t live in a participatory Democracy. That’s the absolute truth. You’ve had your fun. You went to the polls in November — and that was your fun. That was what you’re allowed. Every two years you’re allowed to have your fun and think that you have some impact among politicians who will still never listen to you nor represent your interests, but you don’t. You change the window dressing.

Does it sound skeptical or cynical? Only for those who aren’t paying attention, just like we’re seeing in Europe now. They’re blind to see all roads leading to Berlin — the center of rising The Fourth Reich — attempting to ‘mix iron with clay’ as the United States of Europe is the end goal.

Imagine if you will, that the U.S., Canada and Mexico signed up to what citizens believed was simply a new trade deal.

A few decades later, you are shocked to discover that a vast amount of laws affecting your life aren’t made by your elected officials in Washington, but in a new multi-million dollar Parliament Building in Ottawa, Canada.

When you ask the officials there what precisely is going on, they answer that the plan all along was to merge the U.S., Canada and Mexico into a single nation, with a single flag, anthem and currency.

If this scenario sounds bizarre, in Europe that is precisely what has taken place. Continue reading

REVEALED Brussels plan to control our Army – MEPs call for new EU military HQ

Although a bit dated, this one did fly under the radar when published, yet is still relevant as it illustrates the changing of the EU’s social-political, economic and military landscape. All signs say that the United States of Europe and its European Army is indeed coming, economic crisis be damned. The next major update looks to be in December during the EU summit.

Also, note who the EPP paper was launched by: Germany, the powerhouse of the EU. France who continues to tow the German line, and Poland, who’s previous PM has recently called for a unification of the two previous WWII enemies. Not so ironically, the EU concept along with its respective Euro, was a result of a German-led plan where it was designed to fail in order to get to the next step: a German dominated political union, or Fourth Reich.

MOVES were made in Brussels today to form an EU-controlled military powerbase that would act as a rival to Nato on strategic defence issues.

The European People’s Party said governments “have to start building stand-by forces under Union command”, a move branded as the latest drift to federalism by the UK Independence Party. Continue reading

EU Leaders Draft Plans for a Superstate

… And then the dominant nations made plans to whittle down, to say, ten nations or so — with all roads leading to Berlin.

The 17-member eurozone could soon get its own parliament with power over nations’ taxation, spending and economic policy, under plans being drawn up by Europe’s four presidents, German paper Handelsblatt reported September 6.

European Council President Herman Van Rompuy, European Commission President José Manuel Barroso, European Central Bank President Mario Draghi and Eurogroup President Jean-Claude Juncker presented an initial report on their proposals for the future of the eurozone in June. They’re due to present their final proposal at a summit beginning October 18, with a final report and road map due to be adopted by EU leaders at a summit on December 13.

The new eurozone parliament would be made up of both members of the European Parliament (meps) and representatives from national parliaments.

Their other proposals include giving the European Commission the power to veto national budgets.

The radical reforms go beyond any other proposals for political union so far, and would require changes to EU treaties. Several meps have already spoken out against them.

Separately, Barroso called for the EU to take on more power in social, labor and education policy, as Europe struggles with high unemployment. “We need to aim for an integrated EU policy approach and better coordination of employment and social policy at national and EU level,” he said in a speech at the Employment Policy Conference, September 6. “Not only employment and social policy, but also education policy ….
