Possible cuts will leave Britain incapable of the offensive.
Under the cover of darkness on May 21, 1982, British forces landed on the beaches of San Carlos in the Falklands. The 2 Para, 40 Commandos, and the 3 Para and the 41 Commandos conducted an unopposed amphibious assault, assisted by special forces, in a campaign to retake the capital city of Stanley. By the time the sun rose, the rest of the 3rd Commando Brigade was onshore to repulse the Argentinian counterattack.
…
The British could not have won the Falklands War without using their amphibious capabilities. The Thatcher government received a great deal of praise for the war, and it was a moment that made Britain believe in itself again as a major power. Ironically, all of that would have been impossible if the Conservative government’s plan of cutting the aircraft carriers and amphibious fleet had come about earlier. The Falklands War saved the Royal Navy.
Remarkably, the current Conservative government is planning similar cuts, by retiring the Royal Navy’s last aircraft carrier, the hms Ocean. Continue reading
Margaret Thatcher was spot on when she warned that Britain would not join the Euro for the covert maneuvers behind the scenes was to create the federalization of Europe – their real dream to be the United States of Europe. Thatcher was betrayed by her own cabinet because some members also were dreaming to federalize Europe. Continue reading
British Prime Minister David Cameron and his eurosceptic opponents made final pitches for wavering voters on Wednesday on the eve of a defining referendum on European Union membership with the outcome still too close to call.
The vote, which echoes the rise of populism elsewhere in Europe and the United States, will shape the continent’s future. A victory for “out” could unleash turmoil on financial markets and foreign exchange bureaux reported a surge in demand for foreign currency from Britons wary sterling may fall.
“Quitting Europe is a risk to your family’s future because a vote to leave on Thursday means there is no going back on Friday,” Cameron said.
…
Most pollsters said the result was too close to predict, and would depend on turnout on the day and any late swing among the substantial number of undecided voters.
“It’s our last chance to sort this out and take back control,” said former London mayor Boris Johnson, the main leader of the Leave campaign and favorite with bookmakers to replace Cameron in the event of Brexit. Continue reading
Venezuela had the greatest oil reserves of any country. The country was ruled for 14 years with the iron fist of Hugo Chavez. Then anti-capitalism wiped out the country and sent it into hyperinflation. “Socialism fails when you run out of other people’s money,” as Margaret Thatcher said. It is human nature for people to work less if the state is robbing them. What is the point of producing if the state just takes it away? Every socialist system has sent capital fleeing and caused investment to decline, yet politicians never see this. They just assume everyone will continue to work and pay whatever they demand in taxes. Venezuela is in a meltdown and people are starving. Continue reading
It’s always amazing to see how slow people come around to waking up and seeing what’s happening around them. Imagine the outrage after the slow thinking politicians in Europe realize Germany has controlled 2/3 of the Troika for over a decade now.
“You have not anchored Germany to Europe,… You have anchored Europe to a newly dominant, unified Germany. In the end, my friends, you’ll find it will not work.“
– Margaret Thatcher
The year is 2016 and Europe is now dominated by Germany again.
Welcome to the Fourth Reich.
GERMANY has been accused of orchestrating a takeover of the EU by taking control of five key roles.
Worried Eurocrats have warned politicians now “need to be German and a socialist” to gain a position of power within the organisation – which has also been described as an “insult to diversity.”
The concerns were raised after the German president of the European Parliament Martin Schulz announced his desire for longtime aide and fellow German Markus Winkler to become deputy secretary general. Continue reading
This is, among a host of other reasons such as loss of economic sovereignty, is why a majority of Britons want out of the EU. For decades there has been a steady march to create a United States of Europe and a European Army to go with it. The United States, which turns bi-polar every election year, has proven itself an inconsistent and unreliable partner against Russia and threats stemming from the Middle East in the eyes of Europeans — as well as other nations in Asia (Japan) and the Middle East (Saudi Arabia).
If you’ve been reading Global Geopolitics for years now, you will have been ahead of the curve by years in seeing these developments and which nation is behind it all. This is Germany’s fourth rise and it shouldn’t be shocking for readers of this site to see.
The greatest heist of all time has been pulled off and a new global player has been under construction for decades and now. With or without Britain, the European hegemon will continue to unite and push the continent forward under this banner.
The Fourth Reich has landed.
“You have not anchored Germany to Europe,… You have anchored Europe to a newly dominant, unified Germany. In the end, my friends, you’ll find it will not work.“

THE EU is to launch a £3 BILLION defence research and development programme with the ultimate aim of merging the continent’s militaries into one gargantuan Euro army, Express.co.uk can exclusively reveal today.
Brussels bureaucrats are railroading through contentious plans to vastly expand the European Union’s military scope which could ultimately end with the British army being subsumed into a vast continental force.
The UK military could also be forced to share highly sensitive weapons technology – which we have spent millions of pounds of taxpayers’ money developing – with the rest of Europe under an agreement to boost military cooperation between member states. Continue reading
The reason The Fourth Reich category has been created is because it’s here. This article is further proof of many that the push for European dominance is not over and the continent is once again anchored to Germany.
Non-compliant member states of the EU get labeled ‘fascist’ or, as in this case, authoritarian. From there the economic penalties roll in to achieve the goal of subjugating countries. You saw it first with Cyprus, then with Greece which are now vassal states of Berlin. They are to be broken in order to reshape the continent into a synchronized United States of Europe — the hegemonic dream that never died.
The greatest heist of all time is underway and a European superpower in fact under construction.
…and yes, a European Army is coming with it.
“You have not anchored Germany to Europe,… You have anchored Europe to a newly dominant, unified Germany. In the end, my friends, you’ll find it will not work.“

“Only fools think that politicians in Berlin and Brussels are actually worried about the Polish Constitutional Court or national media outlets,” writes Mariusz Staniszewski in Wprost. The front page of the Polish weekly newspaper compares EU leaders Guy Verhofstadt, Martin Schulz, Angela Merkel, Jean-Claude Juncker and Günther Oettinger to the Axis powers. For the columnist, EU pressure on the Polish government apparently regarding its slide towards authoritarianismis really about “the billions of euros that will now stay in Poland or continue to flow towards Germany or France.”

Britain is continuing to debate its role and its participation within the European Union in preparation for a major vote on whether to leave the union altogether. There are indications that the referendum – known as Brexit – is likely to be held in 2016.
It could be argued that Britain was always a reluctant participant in the European experiment fearing for their sovereignty and independence. Continue reading
This is how the Fourth Reich is coming to be. If you’re still looking for Nazis, you’re 70 years too late. The German hegemony is conquering through other means.

How right she was.
This video below may help one to understand some of the seemingly obtuse demands from the Troika with regard to Greece.
The video is a bit dated, but the debt scheme it describes remains largely unchanged. The primary development has been the creation of an experiment called the European Union and the character of the targets. One might also look to the wars of ‘preventative intervention’ and ‘colour revolutions’ that raise up puppet regimes for examples of more contemporary economic spoliation.
Keep a close watch on Europe. Events are pointing to a dramatic change that will shock the world.
Strong leaders are rising on the world scene today in several nations, including Russia, China and Iran. But what about Europe? And what about Germany?
Germany is one of the top exporters of military armaments in the world, and the third largest exporter of goods. Its economy dominates the European Union. But Germany has no strong leader. Lately, many critics have pointed this out as Russia and radical Islam have gone on the attack against Europe. Continue reading

If readers have any doubts that Germany’s back, you can read up on the tracked ascension of the Fourth Reich and judge for yourself.
DAVID CAMERON’s hope of reforming the European Union is a case of “wishful thinking” and quitting the EU will mean Britain becomes an irrelevance, a German political grandee said today.
The Prime Minister has just returned from a whistle-stop tour of EU member states in order to drum up support for his plans to win back powers from Brussels.
On his trip, the Conservative leader received a welcome boost from German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who expressed a “desire” to play a constructive role in working with Britain. Continue reading
What’s crucial to also understand here is that the United States is not a democracy anymore. America had left democracy and capitalism decades ago through a slow transition that has converted itself into a socialist state. Most people never noticed because they were too busy watching Sunday NFL games or following the Kardashians.
In effect, when people claim democracy and capitalism has failed, they are dead wrong. If America is not a democratic country anymore, then democracy could not have been what failed.
What has failed is socialism — and America is paying the ultimate price for transitioning to it. This ultimate price is usually what erases empires.
For years, I have warned that we will face our worst nightmare – the collapse of socialism. In the death throes of this abomination that even the Ten Commandments listed as a serious sin, equal to “thou shalt not kill”, government will become the ugly beast that will devour society to retain power. Of course, they will never see themselves that way, but they will justify in their minds that stripping us of our freedom, rights, privileges, and immunities, is necessary to maintain socialism for the good of the people.
We are running out of other peoples’ money, as Margaret Thatcher warned. Karl Marx, who sought to change society by sheer force, set all this in motion. What has taken place is really scary, for indeed they have altered society far more than anyone dares to ponder. Continue reading
I have been warning that the governments of the West are in severe trouble. We face the worst economic crisis perhaps in modern history with the distinct risk of moving into a state of Economic Totalitarianism. The governments are well aware of the Economic Confidence Model (ECM). Many people have asked the question why have they not killed me since it appears that most others central to events covered in the movie, the FORECASTER, are dead. I believe the answer is rather simple, for even when I was released and appeared on Capitol Hill, I was introduced as this is the guy with the model they are trying to suppress.
Government is not a single entity. The forces I stood up against were restricted to the corruption in New York City. The New Yorker Magazine was able to get in to interview me only by going to Washington. And when I was thrown in the hole, it was a letter from Congress asking who ordered that treatment resulted in my instant release. And as for my release from contempt, that only took place when the Supreme Court ordered the government to respond to my petition for then the Solicitor General is the only one who can argue before the Supreme Court, not the corrupt prosecutors from New York City. So it is never just a single entity we call government. There are always internal forces that fight over the crumbs of power like pigeons on the ground under the tables at a sidewalk cafe.
I have advised many governments in my life so there are those on the economic side of power who are well aware of what I stand for, not merely the prosecutors who salivate over the opportunity to take down someone famous to further their personal careers. I was perhaps the first and only analyst or Forecaster to be invited by the Bank of China to fly to Beijing during the Asian Currency Crisis back in 1997. I may even be the only analyst who has ever had such experience on a truly global scale. I have been just about everywhere and at times it has appeared that if there was a crisis, somehow I seemed to be dragged in by some government somewhere. There is scarcely a major nation who is not aware of the ECM. Continue reading
People today are understandably confused when they hear “Fourth Reich” and Germany combined in the same sentence. They cannot put two and two together because they continue to look for Nazis running the country. There are none.
The Fourth Reich of today is economic dominance and subjugation of the European continent which will later turn the landscape into a United States of Europe — the only way for the Euro, or single currency bloc to survive. The only solution is further integration, and further integration means destroying national sovereignty from country to country and doing things the hegemon’s way.
Along with an upcoming United States of Europe will be a European Army, thanks in part to the suicide of the United States and Russian threats from the East. Many may not see it, but it’s going in that direction step by step. Whether one chooses to believe it or not doesn’t change the fact that it in fact is happening, albeit at a slow pace, before their very eyes.
If you’re still looking for Nazis, you’re 70-plus years late to the party.
Following World War II, a German return to dominance in Europe seemed an impossibility. But the euro crisis has transformed the country into a reluctant hegemon and comparisons with the Nazis have become rampant. Are they fair?
May 30, 1941 was the day when Manolis Glezos made a fool of Adolf Hitler. He and a friend snuck up to a flag pole on the Acropolis in Athens on which a gigantic swastika flag was flying. The Germans had raised the banner four weeks earlier when they occupied the country, but Glezos took down the hated flag and ripped it up. The deed turned both him and his friend into heroes.
Back then, Glezos was a resistance fighter. Today, the soon-to-be 93-year-old is a member of the European Parliament for the Greek governing party Syriza. Sitting in his Brussels office on the third floor of the Willy Brandt Building, he is telling the story of his fight against the Nazis of old and about his current fight against the Germans of today. Glezos’ white hair is wild and unkempt, making him look like an aging Che Guevara; his wrinkled face carries the traces of a European century. Continue reading
