Marine Le Pen Blacklisted by EU Bureaucrats

(PARIS, FRANCE) European Union lawmakers lifted the EU parliamentary immunity of French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen on Thursday for tweeting pictures of Islamic State violence.

  • Le Pen, who leads her National Front party in the European legislature, is under investigation in France for posting three graphic images of Islamic State executions on Twitter in December 2015, including the beheading of American journalist James Foley.
  • Le Pen’s immunity shielded her from prosecution. By lifting it, after a request from the French judiciary, the parliament is allowing any eventual  against her.
  • The move grants the prosecutor looking into the affair power to bring Le Pen in for police questioning.
  • In the next steps, the prosecutor could drop the case, appoint an investigating magistrate to delve further into it, or send it straight to trial.
  • A trial date ahead of the election in April and May would require the French legal process to go much faster than it normally does.

The offence being considered is “publishing violent images”, which under certain circumstances can carry a penalty of three years in prison and a fine of 75,000 euros ($78,930). Continue reading

Russian Arms Sales to Iran Degrade U.S. Ability to Strike Nuke Sites

…which is precisely why it’s said the window of opportunity to stop Iran from going nuclear is closing fast, be it for Israel or America leading the charge.

Although it’s not 100% certain, don’t be surprised if war breaks out soon as Israel is forced to fight for its very existence. This is also what the anti-Israel Obama administration would want from a propaganda perspective, as to place all the blame on Israel and present it as the warmonger. Israel is fell for a well-designed trap and is now in a catch-22.

Lawmakers say sale of S-300 is move to stop U.S. strike on Iran

A bipartisan team of lawmakers is warning that Russia’s decision to arm Iran with advanced missile systems will erode America’s ability to launch a military strike against the Islamic Republic’s contested nuclear sites, according to a letter sent Monday to the Obama administration.

Russia announced Monday that it will reverse a years-long ban on arming Iran with the advanced S-300 air defense missile system. The move was condemned by the Obama administration, which had viewed the ban as a sign of its successful attempts to rein in Russian proliferation. Continue reading

Feds released hundreds of immigrant murderers, drunk drivers, sex-crimes convicts

Immigration officials knowingly released dozens of murderers and thousands of drunken drivers back into the U.S. in 2013, according to Obama administration statistics that could undercut the president’s argument that he is trying to focus on the most serious criminals in his immigration enforcement.

Among the 36,000 immigrants whom U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement released from custody last year there were 116 with convictions for homicide, 43 for negligent manslaughter, 14 for voluntary manslaughter and one with a conviction classified by ICE as “homicide-willful kill-public official-gun.” Continue reading

GOP lawmakers blame Obama administration over failed missile tests

Four high-ranking Republican lawmakers criticized the Obama administration on Friday for three failed tests of the country’s missile-defense system, saying budget cuts and neglect are to blame.

“While it may take some time to reach a final diagnosis of the cause of the July 5th test failure, it is already clear that President Obama’s decision to drastically cut funding for the GMD program since he came to office and to ‘curtail additional GMD development’ has drained funding available to conduct needed tests of this system,” the letter from the lawmakers said.
