Anyone who thinks government respects religion had better stop watching sports and drinking too much. There is a whole different reality waiting for you. Obama threatened to shutdown the Catholic Church from receiving any money out of the USA, or sending any money to the USA unless it complied with FATCA. Obama, showing his true colors, has no respect for religion. The Vatican has been forced to comply with U.S. tax authorities, demonstrating that Obama is hunting every piece of loose change he can find (See Agreement: FATCA-Agreement-Holy-See-6-10-2015). What’s crucial to also understand here is that the United States is not a democracy anymore. America had left democracy and capitalism decades ago through a slow transition that has converted itself into a socialist state. Most people never noticed because they were too busy watching Sunday NFL games or following the Kardashians.
In effect, when people claim democracy and capitalism has failed, they are dead wrong. If America is not a democratic country anymore, then democracy could not have been what failed.
What has failed is socialism — and America is paying the ultimate price for transitioning to it. This ultimate price is usually what erases empires.
For years, I have warned that we will face our worst nightmare – the collapse of socialism. In the death throes of this abomination that even the Ten Commandments listed as a serious sin, equal to “thou shalt not kill”, government will become the ugly beast that will devour society to retain power. Of course, they will never see themselves that way, but they will justify in their minds that stripping us of our freedom, rights, privileges, and immunities, is necessary to maintain socialism for the good of the people.
We are running out of other peoples’ money, as Margaret Thatcher warned. Karl Marx, who sought to change society by sheer force, set all this in motion. What has taken place is really scary, for indeed they have altered society far more than anyone dares to ponder. Continue reading
Gordon Brown… arguably Great Britain’s first Communist Prime Minister.
James Gordon Brown is a British politician who was the Prime Minister from June 2007 to May 2010 of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Gordon has floated the Marxist Balloon for all we hear about now is eliminating physical money. Those who have ever worked in government NEVER see themselves as the problem – it is always us. So what is the Marxist Balloon? People not immediately in power float an idea so the government can gauge how the press and the people take it. If it goes badly, they say he is speaking personally. If it is not attacked, they float the policy. This is what Gordon Brown has just done. Continue reading
Many today ridicule prior generations’ concern over Communist infiltration. But current trends are bringing that concern back into focus.
Imagine the United States allying with Russia. If you were alive when Nazi Germany was rampaging across Europe during World War ii, you didn’t have to imagine it. You saw it: The world’s greatest capitalist nation forged a “strange alliance” with the world’s greatest Communist state, the Soviet Union.
When this happened, a peculiar phenomenon surged across America: a wave of popular emotional fervor for the Soviets.
Influential men and media fawned over Joseph Stalin. President Franklin Roosevelt released Communist Party-U.S.A. leader Earl Browder from prison to promote “national unity” between American Communists and the general public.
Yet even during this trying and confusing time, one strong voice cried out a warning against not only the imminent fascist threat from Germany, but the less-understood Communist threat from the Soviet Union. Continue reading
Conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage is quoted by Newsmax (May 12) as calling on Pope Francis to begin the “legitimate” redistribution of wealth by monetizing the wealth of the Vatican and distributing the proceeds to the poor.
This rant was in response to the pope’s recent speech to the U.N. secretary-general and officials urging them to promote a “worldwide ethical mobilization” of solidarity with the world’s poor. The pope said that the U.N. should seek the “legitimate redistribution of economic benefits by the state, as well as indispensable cooperation between the private sector and civil society” in order to achieve a more equitable distribution of wealth.
Savage then went on to describe U.S. taxation in relation to the poor as more than adequate, and called the pope “Karl Marx in a papal outfit.” Continue reading
“Market Leninism” has become the biggest challenge to our society, writes John Avlon. And the problem with this alternative to Western governance is that it promises prosperity at the expense of individual freedom – while dismissing democracy as ineffective
The ideology of communism may have ended up on the ash heap of history like Nazism before it, but now “Market Leninism” is taking its place as a challenge to liberty in the 21st Century.
The fault lines reflect Cold War regions.
Russia and China and some of their old satellite states have traded Marx and Lenin for Market Leninism. Continue reading
