Vladimir Putin and his generals are following a blueprint laid out by a neo-fascist political scientist to replace the United States as the world superpower.

The Kremlin is following a detailed plan to replace the United States as the world superpower. Astonishingly most American leaders do not understand this reality. Like former United States President Barack Obama, they dismiss Russia as a “regional power” attacking nations like Ukraine from a position of weakness, instead of strength. Their assessment could not be more wrong. The 2014 conquest of Crimea was actually a calculated step in Russia’s strategy for world domination.

And this strategy was drawn up years in advance. Continue reading

Our Traditions are Often those of the Roman Empire

https://d33wjekvz3zs1a.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Stairs-Holy-Stairs-Scala-Sancta.jpg

QUESTION: Just curious. Did the Romans ever celebrate their founding of Rome like we celebrate the fourth of July?

ANSWER: Oh yes. We seem to have adopted whatever they did as traditions as well. For example, there are nuns in the Catholic Church who take vows of chastity and are in theory married to God. The Romans had the very same tradition known as Vestal Virgins. They kept the eternal flame burning, which we see at John F. Kennedy’s grave as well, symbolizing his memory will live on. It was 40 years ago this week that China opened its doors to the world and launched a series of ambitious reforms that would create one of the world’s largest economic engines.

“China is now the world’s second largest economy, the biggest manufacturer, top trader of goods, and the second largest consumer of goods and recipient of foreign investment,” Chinese President Xi Jinping said during a speech in Beijing celebrating the 40th anniversary of the landmark reforms.

“December 18, 1978, was an important day to be remembered in the history of the Chinese nation,” Xi added, saying that it marked the “start of a great journey of reform, opening-up and socialist modernization.” Continue reading

Growing influence in the region helps China accelerate its Belt and Road Initiative.

Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered remarks in Beijing on July 10 at the eighth ministerial meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum. Xi’s basic message to the representatives from 21 Arab nations and to the secretary general of the Arab League was that China seeks to become more involved in the Middle East.

He stressed the importance of Sino-Arab relations, saying, “Arab states and China are natural partners.” Continue reading

The editor in chief of Europe’s largest newsmagazine has written America’s obituary—quite literally. The title of Klaus Brinkbäumer’s new book is An Obituary for America: The End of a Friendship and the Future of the West.

In it, the Der Spiegel editor in chief reaches two surprising conclusions: America is dead, and Germany should be happy about it.

Spiegel Online published an article adapted from Brinkbäumer’s book under the title “Thank You, Donald! What Trump Means for Germany’s Future.”

The U.S., writes Brinkbäumer, is no longer a reliable partner. Therefore “we must emancipate ourselves.” Continue reading

More AI-Based Religions Rising Up

Replacing Christianity with an artificial intelligence-based “religion,” or “augmenting” it with technology are the aims of several competing groups.

Artificial intelligence expert Anthony Levandowski has been making headlines of late with his goal of creating an AI-based “godhead,” but he’s not alone in that effort.

The former Google AI engineer developed The Way of the Future specifically to supplant the Christian godhead, which he believes will be accomplished in the next quarter-century. This contrasts with Kopimism, which finds “spiritual connection” in gathering all the world’s information and sharing it with everyone else. Continue reading

The Rise of China as a Superpower

Shanghai, China (ISTOCK.COM/LIUFUYU)

It is one of the most impressive economic and political miracles in modern times. And it isn’t over yet.

China is a sovereign state with a population of over 1.3 billion people. The nation possesses the world’s largest economy by some measurements, the world’s largest population and the fourth-largest territory.

These are the building blocks of a superpower. While the world anticipates China gaining superpower status, analysts debate over when and whether its rise will be peaceful.

The Trumpet forecasts that China will continue to grow as a formidable power, combining its strength with Russia. Further, we forecast that it will play a major role in waging economic war that will devastate America.

Where do these forecasts come from? Continue reading

Special Report: Pope Francis’s Communist Mentor

An excerpt from George Neumayr’s “The Political Pope,” to be released Tuesday.

After Pope Francis early in his papacy decried capitalism as “trickle-down economics” — a polemical phrase coined by the left during the Reagan years that Francis frequently borrows — radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh commented, “This is just pure Marxism coming out of the mouth of the Pope.” Talk show host Michael Savage called him “Lenin’s pope.” Pope Francis took such comments as a compliment. “I have met many Marxists in my life who are good people, so I don’t feel offended,” he told the Italian press. Major media outlets are starting to notice parallels between modern Europe and the Holy Roman Empire. Are these similarities to be celebrated? Check history.

“The Holy Roman Empire Can Help Inspire a Different European Union.” This was the headline of a January 20 article in the Financial Times of Britain.

Many authorities today believe returning to the ways of the Holy Roman Empire would vastly improve Europe. This reflects a dangerous ignorance of history. Continue reading

America Faces an Explosion of Racial Violence

Assassinations of police officers in Dallas and Baton Rouge mark a dangerous escalation of race hatred. America’s highest-ranking leaders are fueling the problem.

In two separate instances this past July, one in Louisiana and the other in Minnesota, police fatally shot two black men. On the surface, these shootings look bad—as you can see in some of the videos that were made. If the officers involved are found to be guilty of racism or brutality, they should be punished to the full extent of the law. In America, no one is supposed to be convicted before receiving a fair trial.

Brace Yourself for Earthshaking Events in Europe

We are about to witness some electrifying prophecies come to pass in Europe at a lightning-fast pace! With Britain on the way out of the European Union, influential voices in Europe are calling for the EU to be dramatically restructured. In August 1950, Herbert W. Armstrong said that the world would be “stunned” and “dumbfounded” by how quickly a powerful “United States of Europe” would emerge on the scene. The Bible says the fulfillment of these prophecies immediately precedes the return of Jesus Christ. We must not be caught off guard, as much of the world will be, when these events begin to occur. Keep up with these important trends on the Trumpet Daily Radio Show. Continue reading

China’s Hundred-Year Strategy

Beijing has a documented plan to be the premier global superpower by 2049. It’s over halfway there.

Americans think in four-year election cycles. Chinese leaders think in terms of centuries. Just leaf through the glossy, cream-colored, gold-flecked pages of The Governance of China. This anthology of political theories by Chinese President Xi Jinping is considered almost sacred scripture in Beijing.

Across 18 chapters about leading the most populous nation on the planet, Xi outlines his utopian vision for the Chinese people. In the world he describes, the Chinese are heirs to an ancient and unique civilization entitled to a privileged position among nations. In this world, China is an economic, cultural and military superpower, while the United States is no longer a major geopolitical power.

Watch Germany!

Europe’s refugee crisis is shaking Europe to its foundations. The shocks will help bring a new leader to power soon who will make a sinister deal with Russia.

Every reader should closely watch what is happening in Germany. That nation is going through some dramatic changes that are about to reshape the country and the whole of Europe. Yet most of the world is asleep to how serious these changes are.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has never been weaker. In a very short time, she has gone from being one of the most popular politicians in the world to being the target of a lot of anger from the German people.

“You are killing off Europe.” Those were German politician Edmund Stoiber’s words for Chancellor Merkel in early January. Stoiber is the former minister-president of the state of Bavaria. In his view, Merkel’s policy of welcoming hundreds of thousands of immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa is destroying not just Germany, but all of Europe. Continue reading
