Russia prepares for WAR: Putin’s men tested HUNDREDS of new weapons in Syria, Kremlin says

As mentioned quite a few times in the past, Russians love to use wars to test their new toys. This is why they love keeping Chechnya unstable. It’s the gift that keeps giving to the Russian military.

RUSSIA has tested more than 160 new weapons since intervening in Syria last year, the Kremlin revealed today.

Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said the systems included Su-30SM and Su-34 fighter jets and Mi-28N and Ka-52 helicopters.

He told senior Russian officials: “During the operation in Syria, 162 advanced and upgraded weapons have been tested in combat.

“They have proven to be highly efficient.” Continue reading

This is likely the very first time it’s been reported that Russia is launching ballistic missiles into Syria from its own territory. Using war as a playground for new toys is not new, however.
