Here Are 410 Movies Made Under The Direct Influence And Supervision Of The Pentagon

Ironically, the Top Gun remarks made from 2014 and 2015 on Global Geopolitics were actually alluding to government hands in Hollywood, shaping American views.

 

 

A year ago we featured a detailed report by authors Tom Secker and Matthew Alford exposing just how vast the Pentagon and CIA programs for partnering with Hollywood actually are, based on some 4,000 new pages of formerly classified archived documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act.

The report noted at the time that “These documents for the first time demonstrate that the US government has worked behind the scenes on over 800 major movies and more than 1,000 TV titles.”

When the US Invaded Russia

 

Amid the bi-partisan mania over the Trump-Putin Summit in Helsinki, fevered, anti-Russian rhetoric in the United States makes conceivable what until recently seemed inconcievable: that dangerous tensions between Russia and the U.S. could lead to military conflict. It has happened before.

In September 1959, during a brief thaw in the Cold War, Nikita Khrushchev made his famous visit to the United States. In Los Angeles, the Soviet leader was invited to a luncheon at Twentieth Century-Fox Studios in Hollywood and during a long and rambling exchange he had this to say:

“Your armed intervention in Russia was the most unpleasant thing that ever occurred in the relations between our two countries, for we had never waged war against America until then; our troops have never set foot on American soil, while your troops have set foot on Soviet soil.”

These remarks by Khrushchev were little noted in the U.S. press at the time – especially compared to his widely-reported complaint about not being allowed to visit Disneyland.  But even if Americans read about Khrushchev’s comments it is likely that few of them would have had any idea what the Soviet Premier was talking about.

Savage: “There Will Be Civil War In This Country” If Trump Taken Down

 

Back in June, less that 24 hours before James Hodgkinson decided to open fire on the GOP baseball practice in Alexandria, VA, radio host Michael Savage was commenting on developments that had escalated the anti-Trump “resistance,” such as comedian Kathy Griffin’s ISIS-style photo shoot of the decapitated likeness of Trump and the “Julius Caesar” play in Central Park featuring the assassination of a Trump-like figure, and predicted “there are people out there who are marginal, who are going to go off like a rocket and kill somebody.” Here’s what he said:

“I don’t know how much more of this the country can take,” Savage said.

“We are at a boiling point.” he told his listeners Tuesday.

“If they keep this up, I’m telling you there’s going to be an explosion in this country.”

“Do you understand that there are people out there who are marginal, who are going to go off like a rocket and kill somebody?” Savage asked.

“Do you understand what this left-wing is becoming in this country?”

U.S. companies need to prepare for greater tension between the Trump administration and China. U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross opened high-level economic talks on July 19 by scolding China over its trade surplus. That doesn’t necessarily signal a trade war is imminent — the two countries have come through other rocky patches since Donald Trump became U.S. president. Still, Trump is weighing whether to restrict imports of Chinese steel and aluminum, a move that could prompt retaliation from President Xi Jinping. Such tit-for-tat actions could lead to a Chinese backlash against American businesses. The following are among those most at risk:

1. Hollywood

The movie studios want more access to China, where foreign releases accounted for 61 percent of box office sales in the first half of 2017. China allows about three dozen foreign films to be imported on a revenue-sharing basis — with the studio only getting 25 percent. Hollywood wants a higher number of imports and better revenue splits. Negotiations are ongoing and the U.S. could take China to the World Trade Organization if the two sides don’t reach an agreement by the start of 2018.

Sources close to the situation still expect Wanda to close the acquisition sometime in February, and say that the only speed bump has been that some details are still being worked out. With the Chinese New Year holiday beginning on Saturday, work is expected to be halted for at least the next week.

One person said that work on the deal also came to a standstill a few weeks ago, amid concerns that the nationalistic focus of the new Trump administration might mean greater scrutiny to big investments in the U.S. by Wanda, Alibaba and the new breed of Sino mega conglomerates. The Dick Clark Prods. transaction was only the most recent mega-acquisition for Wanda, which also bought Legendary Entertainment for $3.5 billion last year and AMC Theaters for $2.6 billion in 2012. Wanda’s buying spree has caught the attention of members of both parties in Congress, who worry that they could mark a strategic extension of Chinese “soft power.”

EXCLUSIVE: Paramount Pictures has made its most significant long-term alliance in China since Viacom chief Shari Redstone nixed a 49% stake sale to Dalian Wanda for $4.9 billion last year. The studio has closed deals with Shanghai Film Group Corp and Beijing-based Huahua Media for those companies to fund 25% or more of the studio’s entire film slate for the next three years, with an option for a fourth.

Chinese powerhouse Dalian Wanda is reportedly in talks to buy a controlling stake in US film studio Legendary, providing the Communist Party-linked company with a key anchor in Hollywood.

The media and property group controlled by China’s richest man Wang Jianlin is in advanced stages to buy the studio behind blockbusters “Godzilla” and “Pacific Rim”, according to reports Tuesday in the New York Times and Financial Times newspapers.

The US news and opinion website Daily Beast quoted government sources as saying that the State Department has decided to turn to the premium cable channel Home Box Office (HBO), Snapchat, and Zero Dark Thirty screenwriter Mark Boal, in a bid to “turn things” around in Washington’s propaganda and media war with the Islamic State.

It referred to June’s visit by State Department officials and counterterrorism advisors to Sunnylands, which is nicknamed the “Camp David of the West,” where they met Boal and executives from HBO, Snapchat, and Middle Eastern broadcaster MBC.

Most Americans refuse to think seriously about how close this country is to experiencing race riots and large-scale civil unrest.

We meet all the criteria: rising unemployment, overloaded and failing social systems, mass discontent and uncertainty, loss of faith in leadership, a cultural disdain for law and morality. As these problems intensify, they’re fueling tension, even deep-seated hatred, between blacks and whites, rich and poor, and Democrats and Republicans.

Look around: The kindling is set. All that’s needed is a lit match.

The Implosion Of American Culture

It was widely expressed by the mainstream media of the time that the collapse of the Soviet Union and the fall of the Berlin Wall could not have been predicted. In hindsight, the stagnation and drop in oil prices should have been the obvious signs that a dramatic change was coming. And when the USSR began to borrow from western banks, the fix was in.

The inevitable policy shifts towards “perestroika” were obvious and planned well in advance.  The agricultural crisis within the country was designed to parallel the mass movement towards “glasnost”, or openness.

When we consider the larger mandates of the CSI, Cultural and Socioeconomic Interception, the same machinations as “perestroika” and ‘glasnost” can be observed in the social fragmentation and devolution of the American middle class. Where the Soviet Union enacted policies which instigated the CSI changes within the country, it will be Americas lack of enacting policy change which will precipitate the implosion of its culture.

2012 marked end of American greatness

America faces a seminal reality: We are broke, and we are getting broker by the day. This is the real “fiscal cliff” the country is about to jump off, not the artificial one consuming Washington. Instead of confronting our looming insolvency, the electorate voted to take the plunge. It ratified Mr. Obama’s drive to erect the equivalent of a Franco-German welfare state. Consider Obamacare, the massive stimulus, failed green-energy boondoggles, record numbers on food stamps, constant extensions of unemployment benefits, public housing subsidies, unprecedented government spending and free contraception.

Voters chose economic security over individual opportunity, handouts instead of self-reliance, statism over capitalism. Rather than rebuking Mr. Obama, they rewarded him.

China Invading Hollywood

They’ve bought oil companies in Texas. They’ve had plans to build a self-sufficient city near Boise, ID, and another in Milan, MI. They already make the microchips, processors and other electronics in many computers used by the general public, business, government and even the military. The latest purchase of AMC will more than likely render the company as a propaganda outlet pumping pro-China rhetoric into naive soft heads. Red Dawn, the remake was even put on hold in order not to offend the “sensitivities” of Red China’s leadership as the latest invaders weren’t the Soviets, but their PLA counterparts. The invading army was eventually switched to the North Koreans. It is still yet to be finalized and released.

…and China will continue invading every facet in American life so long as we have a weak administration in the White House.

China continued its expansion into the entertainment industry Sunday when the Wanda Group, a Chinese media conglomerate, agreed to acquire AMC Entertainment, North America’s second-largest movie theater owner, in a $2.6 billion deal.

The New York Timesreports:

The acquisition creates the world’s largest theater group, the companies said. It also represents a significant expansion of Chinese influence in the American film industry. The industry has been looking to China for a vast new reservoir of ticket buyers for Hollywood movies, while joining Chinese investors to produce films like the planned “Iron Man 3” and teaming up to build studio facilities and a new Disney theme park in China.

Wang Jianlin, chairman and president of Wanda, said his goal was to own theaters covering 20 percent of the world theater market by 2020. Speaking through a translator on Sunday, Mr. Wang said his aim for the circuits was to “combine, and synergize and make them profitable.”

Sunday’s announcement is the second major deal this year between the North American entertainment industry and China. In February, DreamWorks Animation struck a $2 billion deal to open a studio in Shanghai under the Oriental DreamWorks brand.
