US neither ally nor friend of France — Marine Le Pen

Just like Germany knew about the spying against them, so did France. Ironically, Germany helped America spy on France. This begs the question, if they knew about it for so long, why all the fuss now? Answer: Because they want America out of Europe.

This is only one propaganda tool of many used on their citizens to form public opinion, cause a rift and get closer to that goal. If they get the people upset enough, the citizens will call for action and all the politicians have to do is say they’re fulfilling the will of their constituents. Devise a plan, create the problem and have the pre-determined solution ready at the right time… corrupt social engineering at its finest.

 

PARIS, June 24. /TASS/. The United States is “neither an ally nor a friend of France,” member of the European Parliament, leader of France’s National Front political party Marine Le Pen said, commenting on reports on eavesdropping on mobile phones of the last three French presidents.

“The revelations made by the WikiLeaks website seem to be very serious,” she said. “This eavesdropping poses a direct threat to our national independence, sovereignty and security.”

The Jihad’s Usefulness (II)

DAMASCUS/BAGHDAD/BERLIN (Own report) – A recently declassified memo of the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) reveals that the West had supported the creation of the “Islamic State” (IS). Using jihadist forces has been a Western tradition for decades, as the Afghanistan war in the 1980s and an analysis of the Western power struggle with Iran (especially since 2003) show. In the 1980s, western countries – in collaboration with Saudi Arabia – had supported jihadists associated with Osama bin Laden, to defeat Soviet military forces in Afghanistan. Since at least ten years, they have been supporting Arab jihadists in an effort to weaken Iran’s main allies. These activities, accompanying the official “war on terror,” are “a very high-risk venture,” warn US intelligence officials. Saudi Arabia, one of Germany’s main allies in the Arab world, is playing a central role in supporting jihadists.

The New Order Emerges

China and Russia have taken the lead in establishing the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), seen as a rival organisation to the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, which are dominated by the United States with Europe and Japan.

These banks do business at the behest of the old Bretton Woods* order. The AIIB will dance to China and Russia’s tune instead.

The geopolitical importance was immediately evident from the US’s negative reaction to the UK’s announcement this week that it would join the AIIB. And very shortly afterwards France, Germany and Italy also defied the US and announced they might join. In the Pacific region, one of America’s closest allies, Australia, says she is considering joining too along with New Zealand. The list of US allies seeking to join is growing. From a geopolitical point of view China and Russia have completely outmanoeuvred the US, splitting both NATO and America’s Pacific alliances right down the middle.

S. Pacific ‘Chinese ports’ cause worry / Japan, U.S., Australia wary of ‘footholds’

NUKU’ALOFA—Japanese, U.S. and Australian defense authorities are increasingly wary over China’s moves to develop port facilities in island countries in the Pacific Ocean amid concern that those facilities could become Chinese Navy footholds in the future.

Zones of Future Conflicts

BEIJING/WASHINGTON/BERLIN (Own report) – German government advisors are warning against an arms race and possible military confrontations in East Asia. As a recent study by the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) explains, China’s attempts to take control over its coastal waters and its maritime trade routes collide with the USA’s attempts to uphold Washington’s claims to maintain its “international leadership role.” The arms buildup of the Chinese Navy and the initial shift of US armed forces to the Pacific are colliding head-on and could – in the worst case – result in armed conflict. In effect, as a NATO partner of the United States, Germany would also be implicated in cases of conflict. German naval vessels are already being incorporated with growing frequency into the US Navy’s combat units. Berlin is also contributing to the expansion of NATO military cooperation with the pro-western countries of east and Southeast Asia, and the Pacific regions through military policy measures and arms exports. German naval circles are also demanding that the German Navy soon be given an arms upgrade and an offensive posture.
