Harbor seals suffer from food shortage

Ironically enough, nobody ever is willing to say that the entire Pacific Ocean is dying and is pretending this is just a recent phenomenon of lately. Nobody mentions Fukushima, either.

Volunteers who track harbor seals in Pacific Grove believe the colony is being affected by this year’s food shortage in the Monterey Bay.

Docents with Bay Net said the problem is no longer just affecting California sea lions — local harbor seal pups are also suffering.
