Right-wing German party says ban the burka claiming Islam isn’t part of their constitution

As predicted years ago, Europe’s swing to the right intensifies:

Alternative for Germany (AfD), which has gained a surge in support since the arrival of more than one million migrants last year, launched its election manifesto calling for measures against “Islamic symbols of power” at its party conference.

Delegates also backed a ban on minarets on mosques and the call to prayer, saying Islam isn’t part of the constitution.

Germans Opposed to Mass Migration are “Free to Leave”

German Chancellor Angela Merkel (left): “The Chancellor has the situation under control. I Have My Vision. I Will Fight For It.”

  • After factoring in family reunifications, the actual number of migrants could exceed 10 million, and some believe that Germany’s Muslim population is on track to nearly quadruple to an astonishing 20 million by 2020.
  • N24 television news reports that up to 50% of the asylum seekers arriving in Germany have gone into hiding and their whereabouts are unknown by German authorities.
  • “It cannot be that offenders continue to fill the police files, hurt us physically… and there are no consequences. … We are losing control of the streets.” — Tania Kambouri, a German police officer.
  • “We are not excluding anyone, we are just trying to run a business. If we ignore the complaints of our female guests, we have to expect that many of our regular customers will stay away…. Financially, we do not know how long can we cope with this.” — Thomas Greil, manager of the discotheque “Brucklyn,” Bad Tölz, Bavaria.
  • “We are reproducing faster and faster. You Germans are not getting any children. In the best case you get two children. We make seven to eight children. Okay mate? And then we take four wives each, then we have 22 children. Maybe you Germans have one child and a dog. Huh? And that’s it.” — Video showing a Muslim threatening a German man openly on the street. Unprecedented: Germany to Send Troops to Iraq

A status quo Germany has maintained for almost 60 years is changing in response to modern-day security challenges.

Ever since World War ii, Germany’s military missions abroad have been executed under a United Nations or nato mandate—until now.

The crisis in Iraq is compelling the German government to implement drastic changes in its military policy on foreign deployment. The German cabinet agreed Wednesday to send over 100 troops to Irbil, in northern Iraq, to train Kurdish Peshmerga fighters. If finalized, the plan would be Germany’s first major military deployment without any authorization from the United Nations or nato. Continue reading

Islam in Germany: “Germany Does Away With Itself”

A powerful statement from a culture that welcomes, but will not bend:

“The values represented by Islam must correspond to our constitution. What applies here is the constitution, not Sharia law…. Those who do not accept this are in the wrong place here.” — Chancellor Angela Merkel

German President Joachim Gauck recently said in a newspaper interview that Muslims living in Germany are a part of the country, but that Islam is not.

The comments — Gauck is the ninth prominent German politician to voice an opinion about Islam — have sparked a new round in the on-going debate over the role of Islam and Muslim immigrants in Germany.

During a May 31 interview with the German weekly newspaper Die Zeit, Gauck was asked about a quote from the previous German president, Christian Wulff, who during a keynote speech to mark the 20th anniversary of German reunification in October 2010, proclaimed that “Islam belongs in Germany” because of the four million Muslims who now live there. Germany has Western Europe’s second-biggest Islamic population after France, with Turks the single biggest minority.

Europe’s debtors must pawn their gold for Eurobond Redemption

The consolidation of power continues flowing back towards Germany as sovereign EU nations become indebted into slavery through economic extortion and subjugation. At this point, it’s hard not to say the Fourth Reich and the Holy Roman Empire are returning as even the German-Vatican connection is growing closer once again. Also see a previous post “Europe to Seize Greece’s Gold” for further information.

The German scheme — known as the European Redemption Pact — offers a form of “Eurobonds Lite” that can be squared with the German constitution and breaks the political logjam. It is a highly creative way out of the debt crisis, but is not a soft option for Italy, Spain, Portugal, and other states in trouble

In effect, Germany would share its credit card to slash debt costs for Italy, Spain and others. Yet it is the exact opposition of fiscal union. While eurobonds are a federalising catalyst, the fund would be temporary and self-extinguishing. “The fund is a return to the discipline of Maastricht with sovereign control over budgets,” said Dr Benjamin Weigert, the Council of Experts’s general-secretary.

The ingenious design gets around the German constitutional court, which ruled in September that the budgetary powers of the Bundestag cannot be alienated to any EU body under the Basic Law — the founding text of Germany’s vibrant post-War democracy.

Germany would have a lockhold over the fund, able to enforce discipline. Each state would have to pledge 20pc of their debt as collateral. “The assets could be taken from the country’s currency and gold reserves. The collateral nominated would only be used in the event that a country does not meet its payment obligations,” said the proposal.
