The head of the US army has criticised the size of the shrinking British military, claiming it would be too small for war.

General Mark Milley, chief of staff at the US army, told a British army conference that “signifiant-sized land forces” were required to achieve a government’s objectives.

Speaking to British officers and army personnel, General Milley said an army could not be quickly regenerated if it was suddenly required.  Continue reading
