Jonathan Cahn: ‘End of Christian America’ is here

‘It’s no accident we are witnessing the beginnings of persecution’

Jonathan Cahn, the Bible teacher and author who started warning nine years ago that America was facing the judgment of God if it did not reject secularism and return to its Judeo-Christian roots, says the June 26 Supreme Court ruling that legalized gay marriage in all 50 states marks the formal end to Christian America.

Barring a “miracle of God,” the die has been cast, said the author of “The Harbinger” and “The Mystery of the Shemitah.”

Cahn, speaking at the annual Messiah Conference at Messiah College in Pennsylvania on America’s Independence Day, said the U.S. and the world are undergoing “tectonic shifts” in terms of attitudes and beliefs.

Even those who consider themselves “Christian” will continue to stray from right doctrine, he said, choosing instead to blend in with the ways of Western culture.

America has turned its back on God and it’s all downhill from here on out. Those who read His word know what happens to a nation that turns its back on God. America’s woes didn’t start with this, but it might be the last straw.

Gay and lesbian couples already could marry in 36 states and the District of Columbia. The court’s 5-4 ruling means the remaining 14 states, in the South and Midwest, will have to stop enforcing their bans on same-sex marriage.

Gay rights supporters cheered, danced and wept outside the court after the decision, which put an exclamation point on breathtaking changes in the nation’s social norms. Continue reading

Pope Says Church Should Stop Obsessing Over Gays, Abortion

On 9/11 of this year, Pope Francis had also declared to athiests that you don’t have to believe in God to get to heaven.

He couldn’t be more contradictory from lessons and warnings within the written word of God (Bible) that he is sworn to live and lead by. Here are a few examples:

  • 1 Timothy 1:19-20
  • Titus 1:16
  • 2 Peter 2:1-3
  • Revelation 2:20-22

Under this pope, is without question and now official that Apostasy has entered the Vatican/Roman Catholic Church, today’s Holy Roman Empire — among many others.

Pope Francis said the Catholic Church shouldn’t be “obsessed” with preaching about abortion, gay marriage and contraception and should instead try to reach out to a broader congregation.

“It is not necessary to talk about these issues all the time,” Francis told the Catholic publication, La Civilta Cattolica. “We have to find a new balance; otherwise even the moral edifice of the Church is likely to fall like a house of cards, losing the freshness and fragrance of the Gospel.” Continue reading
