Russians use front-company to access US federal employees’ contact info, says report

EFIS Estonia

Russian spy agencies use front companies to purchase directorates that contain the contact details of United States government employees, according to a new intelligence report. The contact details are contained in multi-page directories of Congressional staff members and employees of US federal agencies. They are published every January by a specialist vendor called Leadership Connect with the cooperation of a Washington, DC-based provider of publishing services. The directories contain the names, job titles, professional addresses and telephone numbers of US government employees. Continue reading

We have TWO Constitutional Crises At Issue

https://d33wjekvz3zs1a.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Impechment-Constitution.jpg

While we now have people chanting to impeach Trump under the 25th Amendment, we also have a true Treasonous Constitutional Crisis of UNELECTED bureaucrats working to undermine an ELECTED official by the people. Regardless of the issue in play, which they refuse to describe as in the OP_ED, this is a major Constitutional Crisis that is brewing and it is all being orchestrated for the upcoming November elections. The whisper’s Behind the Curtain are actually loud and clear. The Democrats BELIEVE that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was elected because the bulk of the have-nots want more socialism and for government to increase taxes dramatically on the “rich” and corporations and hand it to them. Sort of like hiring a thug to rob your neighbor’s house because they have a nicer TV.

Article 3, Section 3 – Treason

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. Continue reading

Moscow plans to attack undersea cables in future conflict

The Treasury Department on Monday announced the imposition of economic sanctions against Russian entities engaged in targeting undersea internet cables and cyber spying inside critical U.S. infrastructures.

The department announced sanctions on five companies and three Russians linked to the Federal Security Service, the main Kremlin intelligence service, known as the FSB, that has been linked to Russian election meddling in 2016.

For the first time, Treasury revealed one of the sanctioned companies, Divetechnoservices, has worked with the FSB since 2007 to spy on underwater cables used to connect the internet around the world.

Russia has been active in tracking undersea communication cables which carry the bulk of the world’s telecommunications data,” the department said in announcing the sanctions. Continue reading

Russia says it foiled major foreign cyber attack on its financial system

FSB - IA

Russian authorities say they prevented a large-scale cyber attack by “a foreign intelligence service”, which had been designed to destabilize the country’s financial system and subvert its economy. In an official statement published on its website last week, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) said the perpetrators of the foiled attack had planned to carry it out on December 5. The spy agency, which stems from the Soviet-era KGB, said that the cyber attack had been designed to bring down computer systems belonging to some of Russia’s largest banking institutions. Russia prepares to prevent possible US cyber-attacks

Following the US announcements that it is planning to retaliate for presumed Russian hacking of the DNC, Russia says it is making preparations to mitigate the impact of any such attack, while suggesting the US has more to lose.

Russia is reported to be designing a package of measures aimed at preventing possible cyber-attacks from the US. The move is a response to recent statements by US vice-president Joseph Baiden [sic] about US plans to provide an adequate response to Russia in cyberspace, following attacks on the Democratic Party headquarters. Russia ‘to revive the KGB’ after Putin wins biggest majority

Russia plans effectively to revive the KGB under a massive shake-up of its security forces, a respected business daily has reported.

A State Security Ministry, or MGB, would be created from the current Federal Security Service (FSB) , and would incorporate the foreign intelligence service (SVR) and the state guard service (FSO), under the plans. It would be handed all-encompassing powers once possessed by the KGB, the Kommersant newspaper said, citing security service sources.

DNC leak: Russia better at information war now than during Cold War

If you want to see how Russian propaganda and information warfare works against America today, look no further than the following previous post:

WAR 2020: Russia’s Information Aggression

Russia’s hacking and exploitation of emails from the Democratic National Committee has created an unprecedented situation for the US election this year.

The goal of distributing internal DNC emails is not only to create disorder within the party, as has happened after WikiLeaks published embarrassing internal documents that led to the resignation of DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

The emails and other information can be used to shape broader views of the US political system among American voters and in the wider world, as a form of information war waged by Russia towards the West. Continue reading

Edward Snowden is a Russian Agent

And now we know how Snowden ‘learned’ Russian so quickly.

The American people have been fooled for some time now, however, because of his track record it’s what we’ve known for a while here on Global Geopolitics. Because of him, what’s left of the intelligence community has been set back at least 20 years.

It’s clear to see he works for the other side:

Three years after Edward Snowden, the American IT contractor turned global celebrity, made his media debut in Hong Kong, the truth of what really happened in this sensational affair remains elusive. The outline is clear. Snowden left his job in Hawaii with the National Security Agency in May 2013 and appeared at Hong Kong’s Mira Hotel on June 1, having made off with more than a million classified intelligence documents belonging to the American government. A few days later, Snowden appeared on camera to announce that he was lifting the top secret mask off NSA, America’s biggest and most secretive intelligence service.

Yet significant questions remain. Where was Snowden from 21 to 31 May 2013? His whereabouts in that period are unknown. Why did he choose to repeatedly visit the Russian consulate in Hong Kong, even celebrating his 30th birthday there? What did those visits have to do with his departure for Moscow on June 23rd? Last, why has Snowden never left Russia, three years after his arrival? Continue reading

In the early morning of June 6, a uniformed Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) guard stationed outside the U.S. Embassy in Moscow attacked and beat up a U.S. diplomat who was trying to enter the compound, according to four U.S. officials who were briefed on the incident.

This previously unreported attack occurred just steps from the entrance to the U.S. Embassy complex, which is located in the Presnensky District in Moscow’s city center. After being tackled by the FSB guard, the diplomat suffered a broken shoulder, among other injuries. He was eventually able to enter the embassy and was then flown out of Russia to receive urgent medical attention, administration officials confirmed to me. He remains outside of Russia.

The attack caused a diplomatic episode behind the scenes that has not surfaced until now. The State Department in Washington called in Russian Ambassador Sergey I. Kislyak to complain about the incident, an administration official said. Continue reading

Panama Papers Reveal Clinton’s Kremlin Connection

The Clinton communist ties are only shocking if you haven’t been paying attention. It was also raised as an issue in 1992 when The Southeast Missourian brought to light Bill’s visits to Moscow in 1969, when Russia was the Soviet Union. Their corruption and ties with Russia run deep, and have for decades.

The revelations of the so-called Panama Papers that are roiling the world’s political and financial elites this week include important facts about Team Clinton. This unprecedented trove of documents purloined from a shady Panama law firm that arranged tax havens, and perhaps money laundering, for the globe’s super-rich includes juicy insights into how Russia’s elite hides its ill-gotten wealth. Putin fears revolt in Russia ahead of elections, creates national guard under own command

Putin is not the first Russian president to propose the creation of a national guard, Stratfor wrote Tuesday in an article titled “A Guard for Putin’s Security.”

In 1995, the newspaper Izvestia published leaked memos between former Russian President Boris Yeltsin’s aides, claiming that Yeltsin had already drawn up the orders for the new force, envisioned to serve as his personal army in case of domestic uprisings – the national guard. Continue reading

The Moscow Times: CIA Director made secret trip to Moscow in March

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov says that John Brennan, the director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), made a secret visit to Moscow in March, according to The Moscow Times.

“It’s no secret that Brennan was here,” Syromolotov said on Monday. “But he didn’t visit the Foreign Ministry. I know for sure that he met with the Federal Security Service [the successor agency to the Soviet KGB], and someone else.” Continue reading

Former KGB Agent Claims That Anna Chapman Tried to Seduce Edward Snowden

This is the same former KGB agent that warned Snowden fell for a Russian trap, leading him to believe he was a hero for defecting while all that he really did was put American lives in danger by helping the Russians know what the United States does before it does it. He only ended up making a pawn of himself at best and when there is no more vital information on America being abandoned by his Russian security handlers and left for the wolves. It’s foolish to think you’ll be equal with your new ‘comrades’ and dine at the same table with them, who only will use you as a means to an end — a short-term, but very damaging gain on the U.S. side in this case.

A former KGB agent has said that former Russian spy and celebrity Anna Chapman was ordered by the Russian intelligence service to propose marriage to former NSA contractor Edward Snowden to trap him in Russia, British tabloids have revealed.

MOSCOW, December 8 (Sputnik) — Former KGB agent Boris Karpichkov has announced that Russian ‘femme fatale’ former spy Anna Chapman was ordered by the Russian intelligence service to try and seduce US whistleblower Edward Snowden, the British tabloid the Daily Mirror reported.
