China is poised to overtake the United States in artificial intelligence with a surge in academic research on the key technology, an analysis published Wednesday showed.

The analysis by the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence showed China has already surpassed the US in published papers on AI — although many of these were considered “medium-quality” or “low-quality.” Continue reading

Congress was told this week that the U.S. stands to lose millions of jobs and its competitiveness if China is allowed to take the lead on next-generation technology.

Following a congressional hearing in which it was warned that the U.S. could lose millions of jobs if China gains the lead in 5G mobile technology development, President Donald Trump is reportedly weighing an executive order to ban all Chinese telecom equipment. Continue reading

Soros-funded network backing legal challenges to Trump’s immigration order

George Soros

The Open Society Foundations, founded by leftist billionaire George Soros, is bankrolling a number of organizations that have filed legal challenges to President Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration from seven Muslim-majority nations.

“Leftists have no regard for the security and well-being of the American people. To the contrary, they have been busy filing lawsuits around the country in an attempt to thwart the president’s attempt to keep Americans safe from radical Islamic terrorists. And Soros is keeping the money train going,” Joseph Klein wrote for FrontPage Mag on Feb. 7. Continue reading

President Trump fires attorney general who was actively working against him

Corporate media freaks out over logical firing

(INTELLIHUB) — In a swift act Monday night President Donald Trump fired acting attorney general Sally Yates who had earlier revealed that she was refusing to do her job in defending the presidents executive order on immigration.

Yates, an Obama holdover in power because Trump’s nomination is still in the process of being confirmed, was attempting to use her position to push her political beliefs by opposing Trump’s executive action that the corporate media has pathetically labeled a “Muslim ban”.

“I am not convinced that the defense of the Executive Order is consistent with these responsibilities nor am I convinced that the Executive Order is lawful,” wrote Yates before going on to claim that her job to is stand for what she believes is right. Continue reading

Sheriff: Without Secure Border Every County Will Be ‘A Border County’

“Open borders, reckless sanctuary policies, and failure to enforce our immigration laws have greatly impacted public safety and national security throughout every jurisdiction of this country. Every single day, more Americans are becoming victims of senseless crimes, being injured and killed by criminal aliens, many are transnational gang members,” said Sheriff Charles Jenkins of Frederick County, Md.

287(g) is a program that allows local police organizations to enforce federal immigration laws, though Jenkins claims that the Obama administration has gutted this program. Continue reading

Obama will be the only person sticking to Iran deal

Sometime this week, President Obama is scheduled to sign an executive order to meet the Oct. 15 “adoption day” he has set for the nuclear deal he says he has made with Iran. According to the president’s timetable the next step would be “the start day of implementation,” fixed for Dec. 15.

But as things now stand, Obama may end up being the only person in the world to sign his much-wanted deal, in effect making a treaty with himself.

The Iranians have signed nothing and have no plans for doing so. The so-called Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) has not even been discussed at the Islamic Republic’s Council of Ministers. Nor has the Tehran government bothered to even provide an official Persian translation of the 159-page text. Continue reading

Why did Obama nationalize the U.S. food supply with executive order 13603?

In case you didn’t get the memo last week, there’s bad news for the prepper crowd. If you already didn’t tip off the federal government with your credit card or debit card transaction, or purchase on Amazon, they’ll be knocking on your door during a crisis either way.

(NaturalNews) In March 2012, President Obama quietly signed an Executive Order that has major implications should some sort of national emergency arise, such as enabling the federal government to take over management and distribution of all food, water and other resources.

In issuing the order, EO 13603, titled, “National Defense Resources Preparedness,” Obama claimed authority under the Defense Production Act of 1950, a Korean War-era statute (50 U.S.C.) (see it here) that gives the government the power to marshal whatever resources are necessary to protect and defend the country during “military conflicts, natural or man-caused disasters, or acts of terrorism within the United States,” the statute says.
