(Bloomberg) — Chancellor Angela Merkel made a forceful pitch for Europe to play a more assertive role in global affairs as U.S. President Donald Trump dismantles the post-World War II order, setting the stage for a potential tense standoff at the Group of Seven summit this week.

The German leader again questioned the durability of trans-Atlantic relations by referring to eye-raising comments she made over a year ago in which she said that “the times when we could fully rely on others are to some extent over.” Those words, spoken at a beer-tent election rally, were a reaction to Trump hectoring European leaders for not spending enough on defense at a North Atlantic Treaty Organization summit in Brussels. Since then, more fuel has been added to the fire.

“That was my takeaway from the NATO summit, and in the meantime I continue to feel confirmed by my statement,” Merkel said in Munich on Wednesday, this time to a meeting of the European People’s Party, a grouping of center-right parties in the European Parliament.

Germany Confiscating Homes to Use for Migrants

Hamburg, Germany. (Image source: Morris MacMatzen/Getty Images)

“A massive attack on the property rights”

  • In an unprecedented move, Hamburg authorities confiscated six residential units in the Hamm district near the city center. A trustee appointed by the city is now renovating the properties and will rent them — against the will of the owner — to tenants chosen by the city. District spokeswoman Sorina Weiland said that all renovation costs will be billed to the owner of the properties.
  • Similar expropriation measures have been proposed in Berlin, the German capital, but abandoned because they were deemed unconstitutional.
  • Some Germans are asking what is next: Will authorities now limit the maximum amount of living space per person, and force those with large apartments to share them with strangers?

Authorities in Hamburg, the second-largest city in Germany, have begun confiscating private dwellings to ease a housing shortage — one that has been acutely exacerbated by Chancellor Angela Merkel’s decision to allow more than two million migrants into the country in recent years. Continue reading

Berlin terror attack: Lorry ploughs into crowd of shoppers killing nine, trapping others and leaving 50 injured at Christmas market – with killer driver now on the run

As said dozens of times here throughout the years, Europe will take a hard right political turn. All it needs is a catalyst, or two or three, to set it all off. Europe is already militarizing and you can see that from the EU Army, United States of Europe and Fourth Reich topics, for example. The coming attacks will provoke and provoke until a war starts.

This essentially boils down to the Biblically prophesied King of the North the King of the South  (Likely a German-led United States of Europe versus an Iranian dominated Middle East — both of which you can see shaping up in their beginning stages) situation which is likely building up right now. It will only be a matter of time. That’s where this is heading and that’s what this has been warned here about for years. This isn’t a joke. You’re watching it unfold before your very eyes.

The vehicle left a trail of devastation in its wake, in a chilling echo of the deadly terror attack in the French city of Nice in July – and comes just one hour after the Russian ambassador was shot dead in Ankara

  • At least 50 injured and nine dead after truck sped through a crowd of shoppers at busy Christmas market
  • Police indicated the incident is likely to be a terror attack as driver is arrested and passenger in cab died
  • Terrified market-goers have tweeted horrifying images from the scene showing the devastating aftermath
  • Heavy goods vehicle – which has a Polish number plate – was racing through the market at 40mph
  • Police in Berlin using Twitter to urge people to stay in their homes as Angela Merkel is ‘mourning the dead’

At least nine people have been killed and more than 50 injured after a lorry ploughed through a crowd of shoppers at 40mph in a busy Christmas market in Berlin.

As German police indicated the incident is likely to be terror related, ISIS moved quickly to claim responsibility for the fatal attack.

The vehicle mounted the pavement before speeding through a crowd of shoppers, tearing through stalls as it travelled the entire length of the market on Breitscheidplatz Square, outside the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in west Berlin. Continue reading

Terror wave catches German authorities in denial

Two Syrian refugees committed acts of terror in different Bavarian towns Sunday, July 24, the third and fourth violent attacks in Germany in less than a week.

One Syrian, a 21-year old, used a machete to murder a pregnant woman in Reutingen near Stuttgart. He was arrested – but only after a motorist saw him attacking two more people and ran him down. Local police assured the populace that there was nothing more to fear since the attack arose from a private quarrel between the Syrian man and a female colleague at work.

This did not explain why the attacker went on to stab another two victims. Continue reading

The Wars of the Near Future (I)

The Fourth Reich rising:

BERLIN (Own report) – For the first time since 1990, the Bundeswehr will be increased in size, provided new capabilities and have its budget massively expanded. This was announced by Germany’s Minister of Defense, Ursula von der Leyen. According to her announcement, from now on, the German military’s “human resources” will be flexibly determined. For now, an additional 14,300 military personnel and 4,400 civilians will be added by 2023. The military budget, which, in 2000, was still at 23 billion Euros, will be increased to 39.2 billion by 2020. This is the materialization of Berlin’s geopolitical ambitions, which have been massively propagated since the fall of 2013, with the energetic participation of Germany’s President, who has repeatedly called for a more offensive German global policy with the inclusion of its military. In the process, Germany aims to take control of a ring of countries bordering on Europe – some, rich in natural resources – that can constitute, above all, a “cordon sanitaire” designed to shield the prosperous European empire from all sorts of problems. Because the EU’s original plans to use political-economic means to dominate this ring of states have proven unsuccessful, the German government is now turning to an open show of military force.

Right-wing German party says ban the burka claiming Islam isn’t part of their constitution

As predicted years ago, Europe’s swing to the right intensifies:

Alternative for Germany (AfD), which has gained a surge in support since the arrival of more than one million migrants last year, launched its election manifesto calling for measures against “Islamic symbols of power” at its party conference.

Delegates also backed a ban on minarets on mosques and the call to prayer, saying Islam isn’t part of the constitution.

EU Conducts Military Exercises Based on Civil War Theories

Aside from the social unrest, we see a bit more evidence of further integration of EU member states.

While not wanting to predict or project too much, if it proves to be successful, we could be looking at the birth of some sort of EU-wide national guard. We already do know, however, an EU Army is being formed for a United States of Europe. It would make sense to have this at a national level under a nation called Europe, not a continent. Guess where all roads still lead to in the end: Berlin.

The original article in German will be posted below.

Für die, die Deutsch lesen kann, steht der originales Artikel ganz unten.

It’s coming. About 600 members of European police units and military have carried out in North Rhine-Westphalia assault exercises intended to crackdown on civil unrest in Germany and other EU countries. Continue reading

Merkel ally admits multiculturalism has ‘FAILED’ as he calls for Islamist eviction

A KEY ally of embattled Angela Merkel has admitted multiculturalism has “failed” and called for radical Islamists to be booted out of Europe.

Prominent German politician Andreas Scheuer said it was time for his country’s bungling leader to “put an end to this integration romance” and take a tough new stance on Islamic extremism.

His comments came as one of Mrs Merkel’s own MPs proposed banning all foreign funding for German mosques to stop the spread of Islamic State’s (ISIS) hate-filled ideology.

German counter-intelligence believes that at least 29 former soldiers from the country have left to join Islamic State in Syria and Iraq. An internal report also revealed that 65 active soldiers are being investigated for alleged jihadist sympathies.

The report was undertaken by the German military counter intelligence service (MAD), which was seen by the DPA news agency. The documents show that at least 29 former German soldiers have fled to the Middle East to join Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).

Social Democratic Party (SPD) MP Hans-Peter Bartels, who is responsible for oversight of the army, said on Tuesday that “Islamism isn’t the main problem of the Bundeswehr (German Army), however, he did mention that “it represents a real danger that we have to take seriously.”

BOMBSHELL REPORT: Berlin ‘Lost To Arab Clans’ Now Recruiting ‘Physically Strong Young Migrants’

Berlin’s criminal underworld has been “lost to Arab clans” according to a new report published by the mainstream German newspaper Die Welt.

The report speaks of the ‘amazing’ sight of luxury sedans cruising up to refugee, asylum centre, and migrant lodgings filled with “people who have lost everything.”

Cologne police ordered to remove word ‘rape’ from reports into New Year’s Eve sexual assaults amid cover-up claims

Accusations add to claims of political cover-up

According to Cologne newspaper Express, officers received a phone call from the state police control centre ordering them to take down the report “or otherwise delete the phrase ‘Vergewaltigung’” – “rape”.

A senior Cologne police officer told Express he was informed of the order by a colleague who took the call, and that state police understood it to be “the wish of the state interior ministry”. Continue reading

Merkel: ‘I have no plan B’ on migrant crisis strategy – Deutsche Welle

Speaking on German public television on Sunday, Chancellor Angela Merkel said the policy of open borders for migrants would remain. Merkel dismissed a “rigid limit,” saying, “There is no point in believing that I can solve the problem through the unilateral closure of borders,” according to Deutsche Welle.

“I have no plan B,” Merkel said, adding that she was convinced she was on the right track with efforts to redistribute refugees within Europe, while addressing the problems causing people to flee to the continent: “I am fighting for this approach,” Deutsche Welle wrote. Continue reading

COLOGNE’S new chief of police says the mass sexual frenzy that took place in his city on New Year’s Eve was organised on social media and not by hardened criminals.

As of Friday ten men are in custody and a further 44 are being sought, most of them North African, for the hundreds of sexual assaults and robberies committed against women in the city during celebrations on the last day of the year.

Turkey’s Erdogan “taunted EU leaders” over migrant deal

The stormy meeting on October 5 last year came as European leaders, led by Jean-claude Juncker, the European Commission president, tried to strike a 3bn euro deal with Turkey to stem the flow of migrants crossing into Europe.

In extraordinary exchanges, Mr Erdogan appears to taunt Mr Juncker, saying that Turkey does not want the European Union’s money and flatly rejecting the offer of 3bn euros over two years.

“Erdogan said that Turkey didn’t need the EU’s money anyway, ‘We can open the doors to Greece and Bulgaria any time and we can put the refugees on buses’”, threatened Mr Erdogan according to the minutes published by the Greek website Euro2day.

Is the European Union Dead?

Years of crises appear to provide a definite answer. But Bible prophecy answers differently.

There is no shortage of commentators predicting the demise of Project Europe. From the eurozone financial crisis to the refugee crisis, Europeans are becoming increasingly skeptical about the future of the European Union. Continue reading
