China is building an array of high-technology space arms – anti-satellite missiles, lasers, GPS jammers and killer satellites – that Beijing says will give its military strategic advantage in a future conflict with the United States.

The People’s Liberation Army now has the capability of attacking, destroying or disrupting the 500 US satellites circling the earth at heights of between 1,200 miles and 22,000 miles, according to a new study by a US think tank, the National Institute for Public Policy.

The report, on “Foreign Space Capabilities,” also reveals that China’s military has discussed plans for using space detonations of nuclear weapons to create electronics-killing Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) attacks against orbiting satellites used by militaries for precision weapons targeting, navigation and communications. Pyongyang reports ‘EMP might’ of nuclear arms

North Korea for the first time this week revealed plans for using its nuclear arms for space-based electronics-disrupting EMP attacks, in addition to direct warhead ground blasts.

The official communist party newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, published a report Monday on “the EMP might of nuclear weapons,” outlining an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack produced by detonating a nuclear warhead in space. Continue reading

A “Super-Powerful” EMP Attack: North Korea’s Newest Weapon Against The U.S.

The dynamics of the standoff between the US and North Korea have shifted dramatically in the past week.

First, the North started with an unexpectedly sharp provocation – launching a missile over the Japanese island of Hokkaido – before following that up with its sixth nuclear test. Also, judging by the size the earthquake detected in the country’s mountainous North on Sunday morning, North Korea may have been telling the truth when it said it conducted what it described as its first hydrogen bomb test.

And while the North bragged about the weapon’s “great destructive power” in a TV broadcast, what caught analysts’ attention was a mention of a different tactic: detonating  an H-bomb at high altitude to create an electromagnetic pulse that could knock out parts of the US electrical grid. Cyber-Nukes

U.S. nuclear deterrent modernization should not put “old wine in new bottles” by merely upgrading missiles and bombers to deliver old-fashioned nuclear weapons on antiquated missions.

New-design nuclear weapons – and new operational plans – are needed for deterring and defeating the new way of warfare being planned by our potential enemies.

Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran plan a revolution in military affairs combining cyber-attacks with nuclear electromagnetic pulse (EMP) to decisively defeat enemy military forces and paralyze entire nations. Continue reading

Report: North Korean EMP attack would devastate Hawaii

Hawaii is home to 11 military bases and U.S. Pacific Command’s HQ.

Defense analysts said Hawaii could be targeted by North Korea, which continues to develop its nuclear and intercontinental ballistic missile capabilities, Military.com reported on May 13.

Hawaii is seen as a desirable target as it is headquarters for U.S. Pacific Command and has 11 military bases, including Pearl Harbor, said Dean Cheng, senior research fellow with the Asian Studies Center at the Heritage Foundation. Continue reading

EXCLUSIVE – Congressional Expert: North Korea Prepping EMP Catastrophe Aimed At U.S. Homefront

Something Global Geopolitics has been warning about over, and over, and over again:

TEL AVIV – While the international community and news media focus on North Korean missile tests and the country’s nuclear program, one expert warned on Sunday that North Korea may be secretly assembling the capability to take out significant parts of the U.S. homeland via an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack.

Dr. Peter Vincent Pry is executive director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security and is the chief of staff of the Congressional EMP Commission.

Speaking on this reporter’s talk radio program, Pry pointed to two North Korean satellites that are currently orbiting the U.S. at trajectories he says are optimized for a surprised EMP attack. “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” is broadcast on terrestrial radio on New York’s AM 970 The Answer and NewsTalk 990 AM in Philadelphia and online. Total Chaos: Cyber Attack Fears As MULTIPLE CITIES HIT With Simultaneous Power Grid Failures: Shockwave Of Delays In San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York

The U.S. power grid appears to have been hit with multiple power outages affecting San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles.

Officials report that business, traffic and day-to-day life has come to a standstill in San Francisco, reportedly the worst hit of the three major cities currently experiencing outages.

Power companies in all three regions have yet to elaborate on the cause, though a fire at a substation was the original reason given by San Francisco officials. Continue reading

Former CIA director warns North Korea could kill 90% of US

If you’ve been following Global Geopolitics for a while, you wouldn’t be shocked to hear about this one, as it has been warned about plenty of times already.

(VERO BEACH, FLA) On Wednesday former CIA director James Woolsey and Dr. Peter Vincent Pry published an Op-Ed in The Hill warning that North Korea has the ability to kill 90 percent of Americans by detonating a high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (EMP) over the United States.

The deaths, the two national security experts wrote, would result from the starvation and societal collapse which follows an EMP knocking out the national electric grid and other life-sustaining critical infrastructure for over a year. Continue reading

North Korea ‘hiding FULL NUCLEAR POWER and could have weapons orbiting the US’

As Global Geopolitics has maintained, North Korea likely has one or two EMP bombs ready to fall out of the sky onto the U.S. mainland, on command. As most don’t remember, because they were busy watching the 2016 Super Bowl, the North launched a ‘weather satellite’ over the continental United States after the game. It has also been said here that if the next world war was going to start, it would be started by North Korea.

NORTH Korea is far more advanced, dangerous and could already have weapons orbiting the US, warn two experts.

In a joint article, James Woolsey, a former CIA chief, and Peter Vincent Pry the executive director of the EMP Task Force have declared: “History suggests North Korea already has nuclear-missile warheads and a sophisticated array of nuclear weapons.”

The harrowing article isn’t the first the two have co-written. They previously referred to Kim Jong-Un as “a paranoid psychopath” and claimed the public was being “mis-led by the Obama White House” as “North Korea probably already has nuclear armed missiles”. Continue reading

China’s New Microwave Weapon can Disable Missiles and Paralyze Tanks

China high powered microwave weapon EMP

This weapon, which can pump out high-powered microwaves from a relatively small platform, could be the start of a new chapter in Chinese electronic warfare. [Chinese Internet via Hongjian]

For over 6 years, Huang Wenhua and his team at the Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology in Xi’an have been working on a potent microwave weapon. This one, which recently won China’s National Science and Technology Progress Award, is small enough to fit on a lab work bench, making it theoretically portable enough for land vehicles and aircraft.

Green Beret warns: “World governments are preparing for disaster and war”

This is alarming, as the U.S. has been playing an indirect cat-and-mouse game with Russia

As written in previous articles, it is my firm conviction that we will be involved in a World War that will be initiated by an Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) weapon detonated over the continental United States.

That being said, this piece summarizes recent events that reinforce such a conclusion, a conviction that is shared by world leaders, senior military personnel, and prominent analysts, as well as being a general consensus of opinion worldwide.  As of this writing, the German government has instructed its citizens to prepare for a forthcoming disaster by stockpiling at least 10 days-worth of food and 5 days of water.  In Berlin, they are considering bringing back mandatory conscription (a draft) in view of the influx of Muslim aliens entering Europe. “Real, Imminent Threat” That Next World War Will Be Initiated By First Strike EMP Weapon

Not only do the North Koreans maybe have the capability, but they may already have at least one EMP hovering over America. If you weren’t too drunk after watching the Super Bowl, you would’ve heard the news that North Korea launched a ‘weather satellite’ directly over San Francisco.

There has been a tremendous amount of technological interchange between North Korea, the Russians, and the Chinese.  North Korea has also been working for years in the refinement (development) of its nuclear arsenal, especially in partnership with Pakistan and Iran.  In a press conference at the Pentagon on October 24, 2014 reporters were briefed by General Curtis Scaparrotti, the U.S. Military Commander in Korea.  This is what the general had to say:

“I believe they [the North Koreans] have the capability to have miniaturized the [nuclear] device at this point, and they have the technology to potentially, actually deliver what they say they have.” Continue reading

North Korea: We Are Ready for ‘Pre-Emptive Nuclear Strike’ on U.S.

What was once said in 2013, might come to fruition. Hopefully not, however. Nobody has taken Un or North Korea, for that matter, seriously in decades. However, during this time the capability has improved and has become more threatening. Imagine one day, Kim Jong Un makes the threat to nuke the United States and all of the American citizens laugh it off, then go back to watching their favorite NBA game while downing pints of beer.

The American shopping mall regime is blind, and most don’t even know N. Korea flew a ‘weather satellite‘ over the continental U.S. right after the Super Bowl because they were hung over from all the beer that day. What if it wasn’t a weather satellite? What if it’s an EMP bomb waiting for the command to fall out of the sky? Why does North Korea need to monitor the weather over the United States? What if it does in fact drop out of the sky one day while America is focused on the Kardashians and puts the nation back into the stone age? The average American attention span to these things is 24 hours. Move along, nothing to see.

Six months from now this threat will have been completely forgotten and America could have a devastating wake up call. It’s said up to 9 in 10 Americans could die from the following waves of effects. The situation has gone past the joke stage. Your reply to all this this might be: “Well, we’ll fully retaliate and destroy North Korea, then. No worries.” If that’s the case, fine. But it still wouldn’t stop what has already been done — and there is no known method of stopping a falling EMP out of the sky which would detonate above its target within 3 – 5 minutes.

America, or any other nation hasn’t done anything about North Korea during its last three dictatorships in the Kim Jong- family line. There’s no reason to expect North Korea to be stopped when it’s had over three decades of being allowed to do whatever it wants. Lastly, Kim Jong Un just told his nation to prepare for “chewing on roots“, in other words: Starvation. This could be considered war preps, and not necessarily an upcoming famine.

North Korea has once again asserted that it will use its nuclear weapons arsenal against the United States. Unlike previous statements, however, a note from the rogue state’s foreign minister on Monday insisted that North Korea is fully equipped and ready to use a nuclear weapon on the United States, not just willing to do so.

Foreign Minister Lee Su-yong insisted in a statement Monday that Pyongyang would not hesitate to use their nuclear weapons against America, and they now no longer needed to wait for their scientists to build the weapons necessary for such an attack. “In response to the US frenzied hysteria for unleashing a nuclear war, we have fully transferred our army from the form of military response to the form of delivering a pre-emptive strike and we state resolutely about the readiness to deliver a pre-emptive nuclear strike,” he said, adding that North Korea “faces the dilemma: a thermonuclear war or peace.”

Beware a Wounded Dragon

https://i0.wp.com/globaleconomicwarfare.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Flag_of_the_Qing_dynasty_1889-1912.svg_.png

There are increasing reports from credible sources that the Chinese economic miracle may be collapsing. This has enormous implications for the rest of the planet. To some, this may be simply a natural transition as the Chinese economy matures, as suggested in a report from Financial Times.

To others, this is the collapsing of a debt-induced bubble, the failure illustrated by an actual Ponzi scheme that recently unraveled. While not everyone agrees China is in trouble, there is increasing concern that things are getting out of control. Capital flows out of China have gotten substantially worse as those with money are attempting to get it out of China as quickly as they can. Continue reading

America’s Nuclear Power Plants Vulnerabilities

A year-long study found that the present legal and regulatory approach to EMP/Space weather threat to America’s nuclear power plants are inadequate and dangerous. This sorry state is anchored in the industry efforts to maintain safety regulations dating back to the 1980s, and a national security mentality relevant at the end of the Cold War.

This has been successful, in part, due to a campaign to brand nuclear power as a clean, safe source of energy. To their credit, the NRC and industry have demonstrated a commitment to safety where design basis events are concerned. However, EMP and GMD are beyond design basis events. Once these occur, there are no guarantees and few strategies with which to cope.  Continue reading
