Canada: Sold to the Highest Foreign Bidder

For those who don’t completely understand how badly Canada has been compromised from the bottom to the top, take some time and read about Operation Sidewinder, for one example of many.

Additional information on Canada/Iran/Operation Sidewinder:

Iran Infiltrates Canada, Calls to Attack America

Communism with Canadian Characteristics: Naval intelligence officer arrested in Halifax, charged with passing secrets to “foreign power,” Ottawa “fed” false information to Moscow after suspicions aroused…

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said three years go: “There is a level of admiration that I actually have for China, because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to turn their economy around on a dime.” In November, he called Fidel Castro “remarkable” and a “larger than life leader who served his people.” (Image source: U.S. Air Force)

  • In April, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that ISIS supporters have the right to defend their freedom, and was reported to have referred to Evangelical Christians as the “worst part of Canadian society.” These remarks came after is after he remained silent when Jewish centers received bomb threats, and despite Canada’s imams regularly calling for the annihilation of Jews.
  • Even more disturbing is a technical loophole in the Canada Elections Act. The law allows foreign entities to make contributions to Canadian candidates. This means that players such as Iran or Saudi Arabia will be able to further their agendas through a particular politician, as long as they pump him with funds for six months and a day prior to his official bid for office.

A journalist was taken to task recently for calling Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau an inelegant name during a press conference. In response, Josh Sigurdson justified his behavior in a YouTube video:

“The state-run media got to ask [Trudeau] questions — pre-screened ones, at that… How is it journalism to ask pre-selected questions of a politician? Restricting opposition, restricting free speech… pretending to stand for women while sending money to governments and dictatorships who stone women to death for driving and kill gays … that is the definition of scumbag.” Continue reading

Erdogan Seizes Total Control of Turkey

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Erdogan-3.jpg

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has achieved his dictator status which was his long-held ambition to expand his powers after the referendum handed him the reins of supreme power. However, the integrity of the vote is seriously questioned and the slim victory of just 51.4% approving a series of constitutional changes converting Turkey’s political system from a parliamentary to a presidential one, means there is going to be tension in Turkey looking forward. There will be no real checks and balances in place.

The opposition parties naturally called for the vote to be annulled because of a series of irregularities, The electoral board decision to accept ballots that did not bear official stamps has really called into question did the people really vote for this dramatic change. Continue reading

Erdogan Unleashes Unprecedented Crackdown: Fires All University Deans; Suspends 21,000 Private School Teachers

Over the weekend, after the initial reports of the purge unleashed by Erdogan against Turkey’s public, we previewed the upcoming, far more dangerous counter-coup as follows: “it was the next step that is the critical one: the one where Erdogan – having cracked down on his immediate military and legal opponents – took his crusade against everyone else, including the press and the educational system.

But while Turkey’s press is already mostly under Erdogan’s control, it is the educational witch hunt fallout that is far more troubling, and just as expected over the past hour we have gotten a glimpse of just how extensive the Turkish’s president cleansing of secular society will be, when the state-run Anadolu news agency reported that Turkey’s ministry of education has sacked 15,200 personnel for alleged involvement with a group the government claims is responsible for Friday’s failed coup. The Russian bear stamps out terror, but Erdogan prepares to stab it in the back (Sputniknews.com, November 24, 2015)

The Russian-Turkish conflict is reflected not only in the military, political and economic tension between the two countries but also in the Russian media, which expresses extreme hostility towards Turkey and its president.

This is evident, for example, in articles in English published recently on the Russian websites NEO[1] and Pravda.[2] One of these articles cites “a leading military expert” as saying that, in the event of a war between the two countries, “Russia will have to use nuclear weapons immediately, because the existence of the nation will be at stake.” The others focus on Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, presenting him as an enabler and supporter of the Islamic State (ISIS) and calling him a “madman” and a “murderer.” One even suggests that Turkey was “a prime mover in the [November 13] Paris attack.”

The following are excerpts from the articles. Continue reading

Putin Issues Ultimatum, Threatens War Over Erdogan’s Support of ISIS

In case you missed this overlooked breaking news from last month:

Putin issues an ultimatum to Turkey, “End all military support for ISIS”

Russian President Vladimir Putin in a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador issued a verbal ultimatum calling for an immediate end to Turkey’s support for ISIS and violations of Syria’s sovereignty.  In doing to, Putin has drawn a red line over Syria, after weeks of escalating NATO moves against that beleaguered nation.

In a startling move, Russian President Vladimir Putin castigated Turkish President Recep Erdogan, calling him a “dictator” and threatening to sever diplomatic ties with Turkey over what Putin claims is Erdogan’s continued support of the ISIS terror organization. Continue reading

Saudi Arabia re-emerges as powerful Middle East player

Saudi Arabia has re-emerged as the Middle East’s most powerful influence-peddler, with its presence being felt in both Egypt and Syria, says Richard Spencer.

It may be the least revolutionary country in the world, but this week Saudi Arabia won the full support of the world’s greatest insurrectionists. Continue reading

Helmut Kohl: I acted like a dictator to bring in the euro

“I knew that I could never win a referendum in Germany,” he said. “We would have lost a referendum on the introduction of the euro. That’s quite clear. I would have lost and by seven to three.”

The interview was conducted by Jens Peter Paul, a German journalist in 2002, the year when the Deutsche Mark was replaced by euro notes and coins, but has only been published now. Continue reading

China’s dictators are not stupid like Stalin and Obama is their ally

The new Chinese communist dictators are different. They realized that to stay in power, they have to change the rules of the game: their new goal is to put foreign capitalism to work to realize their own ambitions.

Chinese communist dictators do not have Stalin’s problem of having inadequate work force. China’s population is 1.339 billion. Suddenly they realized that this is far from being a burden to them: This is their golden asset and a source of cheap labor. Something Russia did not have.

Money-hungry foreign businessmen, they reasoned, will move their industries to China in search for this cheap Chinese labor. So the Chinese communist dictators will not have to take care of their slaves. Free Western capitalists will do this: they will use cheap slave labor for miserable pay, just enough to keep the slaves alive.

And this is exactly what has happened. Their strategy has worked. Western businessmen moved their businesses over to China. Workers in their countries lost jobs. To pay the unemployment benefits, Western governments, and in particular the U.S. Obama administration, have to borrow money from China, i.e., getting loans, which she is willingly extends to their White House friend Obama. China became the biggest lender to the United States: China holds more than $1.1 trillion of U.S. Treasury debt.

China has modernized its military with the latest military technology. Their spies have penetrated the most sensitive American military bases.
