Why is August the Most Active Month for War?

QUESTION: Mr. Armstrong; You have stated that August is the season of war. Can you explain a bit more than just that. I am sure you have before. But I am new to the blog. Continue reading

Dick Cheney predicts US will suffer a terrorist attack ‘far deadlier’ than 9/11 before the decade is over

A dated article, yet a bit more relevant to today’s times.

Iran already has thousands of IRGC sleeper cells in America for years now waiting for the green light. They already have targets picked out and are prepared for campaigns against America, inside America. They will settle for nothing less than an American Hiroshima. Iran is just one adversary with such plans.

  • Former vice president believes a terrorist attack even worse than what happened on September 11, 2001 is probable before the end of the decade
  • You can just imagine what would happen if somebody could smuggle a nuclear device and drive it down the beltway outside Washington D.C.’
  • Cheney and his daughter Liz last week announced the launch of The Alliance for a Strong America
  • They’ve promised to keep ‘policies necessary to protect the nation’ in the spotlight
  • In a recent scathing op-ed, they slammed the Obama administration for its handling of the jihadi uprising in Iraq

Former vice president Dick Cheney believes that a terrorist attack even worse than the destruction of the twin towers on September 11, 2001 is probable before the end of the decade.

Cheney appeared on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show on Tuesday and was asked if he thought the United States would ‘get through this decade without another massive attack on the homeland.’

Will China Invade Alaska, Canada? Will Russia?

Update: Previous link mistakenly led to another story. The link is now fixed and brings you to the article source.

Because the Chinese have been studying the cycles. From generational theorists William Strauss and Neil Howe, they have learned that political/cultural cycles last only 65 years, and then they collapse, cycles first observed by Taoist monks and Roman philosophers. And China is exactly 66 years advanced since the Chinese Communist Revolution of 1949. In terms of generational cycles, China is on the eve of destruction. (In terms of the Strauss/Howe theory, so are we.)

The Chinese have been studying Western theories and economic cycles like the Elliott Wave, which suggests that the life cycle of a dominant currency has its limitations, and the American dollar cycle has ended. They have been studying economist Harry Dent, investment gurus Jim Rogers, Marc Faber and libertarian Ron Paul, seen often here only in the shadows, and understand that America is at a full economic transition, potentially a catastrophic cultural turning.

They have been reading Nicholson Baker’s day-by-day account, Human Smoke: The beginnings of WWII, the End of Civilization. They understand fully without Western sentimentality or illusion what comes next at the end of the economic cycle: Total war. Continue reading

Cheney alert: Nuclear war likely, Obama violated 75-year bipartisan consensus on U.S. as ‘freedom’s defender’

U.S. President Barack Obama’s capitulation to Iran in recent nuclear negotiations will likely result in “the first use of a nuclear weapon since Hiroshima and Nagasaki,” former Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz Cheney wrote in an op-ed.

“Among the many dangerous deficiencies in his nuclear deal with Iran is the irreversible damage it will do to the international nonproliferation regime contained in the NPT (Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty),” the Cheneys wrote in a Wall Street Journal op-ed entitled “Restoring American Exceptionalism”. Russia Is About To Absorb Part of Another Country

Surely, if this escalates into another war, the propaganda masters behind the last Russian-Georgian war will effectively paint tiny Georgia as the aggressor. The previous, long-planned and pre-determined 2008 Russian invasion of Georgia, that is. The next invasion would likely permanently take away the energy corridor from the Caspian Sea to Europe planned under the Bush/Cheney administration to bring independence. This is also why you see Europe frantically scrambling to find alternatives to Russian resources.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, it was never about an aggressive rogue military in a nation barely larger than Israel. But that’s what the masses believe and it goes to show how effective the propaganda is. You can read more about Georgia under its respective category HERE.

While Moscow continues to be hammered by low oil prices and western-led sanctions, it is doubling down on hard-edged political and financial retribution: Russia is preparing to absorb a province of neighboring Georgia, and delivering an ultimatum to Europe that it could lose much of the Russian gas on which it relies.

Ten months after annexing Crimea and igniting his current standoff with the west, Russian president Vladimir Putin will as early as this week take control of South Ossetia, a breakaway region of Georgia, with which he has a long, sour relationship. He is to sign a little-publicized accord that will hand over foreign policy, border control, and security to Moscow. Continue reading
