The REAL Russia Scandal

MELISSA BARREIRO/TRUMPET

Is Vladimir Putin trying to strengthen the Trump presidency—or weaken it?

Claims that United States President Donald Trump secretly cooperated with Russia to steal the 2016 United States presidential election have been making headlines for over a year. New allegations seem to come out every week, but none of them are backed up by proof against the president.

WikiLeaks published 19,252 e-mails hacked from the accounts of seven key Democratic National Committee staff members on July 22, 2016. These staff members are chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chief executive officer Amy Dacey, chief financial officer Brad Marshall, communications director Luis Miranda, press secretary Mark Paustenbach, broadcast media director Pablo Manriquez and finance director Jordan Kaplan.

The e-mails revealed that under Schultz’s leadership, key officials within the Democratic Party worked to sabotage the presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders so Hillary Clinton would win the party nomination. Many Sanders supporters were outraged. Schultz apologized and resigned in disgrace. Continue reading

Our New War Party

What is transpiring now in the House of Representatives in the setting of the House Intelligence Committee is truly astounding. The Pontificatorium that is now “examining” “Russian Active Interference with the 2016 presidential election” has raised irony to the power of ten. FBI Director James Comey cautioned the members of the committee that he would be unable to comment on the details of any ongoing investigations that may involve classified material. And yet he has no problem with overstepping his self-limited description as a law enforcement official by offering astute foreign policy opinions such as “Putin hated Hillary Clinton so much.” The Intelligence Committee proceedings have descended into political theater, shamelessly top billed by Democrat Adam Schiff in his opening remarks replete with innuendo, unsubstantiated conspiracy theories and “possibilities” of “coincidences” all designed to indict the Trump administration as a coconspirator with Putin’s Russia in defeating Hillary Clinton. Communist Agitators Inflamed Ferguson Riots

As people around the world watched news footage of rioting and looting in Ferguson last summer, most overlooked one disturbing detail: Many protesters carried signs and banners with the web address of the Revolutionary Communist Party, U.S.A. The majority of mainstream news outlets may have ignored the fact, but it is undeniable that protesters in Oakland, California; St. Louis, Missouri; and New York City, New York, have used the www.revcom.us address extensively.

The Revolutionary Communist Party (rcp) is currently the foremost Maoist party in the United States, though it probably only boasts several hundred members. Its earliest roots stretch back to the Sino-Soviet split of 1962. Favoring the Chinese brand of Communism over the Russian brand, 50 members and ex-members of the Communist Party, U.S.A. (cpusa) split into the Progressive Labor Movement (plm). This Maoist group later split into the Revolutionary Communist Party and Bill Ayers’s Weather Underground. Continue reading

Top Obama adviser’s link to communism

Father, early mentors were members of party

David Axelrod, President Obama’s former longtime senior strategist, has been caught minimizing his father’s participation with the Communist Party USA.

Further, there here is evidence Axelrod himself was mentored early on by communist activists.

In his book “Believer: My Forty Years in Politics,” released two weeks ago, Axelrod makes light of the communist affiliation of his father, Ukrainian immigrant Joseph Axelrod.

Has America Been Influenced by Communism?

(Melissa Barreiro/The Trumpet)

Many today ridicule prior generations’ concern over Communist infiltration. But current trends are bringing that concern back into focus.

Imagine the United States allying with Russia. If you were alive when Nazi Germany was rampaging across Europe during World War ii, you didn’t have to imagine it. You saw it: The world’s greatest capitalist nation forged a “strange alliance” with the world’s greatest Communist state, the Soviet Union.

When this happened, a peculiar phenomenon surged across America: a wave of popular emotional fervor for the Soviets.

Influential men and media fawned over Joseph Stalin. President Franklin Roosevelt released Communist Party-U.S.A. leader Earl Browder from prison to promote “national unity” between American Communists and the general public.

Yet even during this trying and confusing time, one strong voice cried out a warning against not only the imminent fascist threat from Germany, but the less-understood Communist threat from the Soviet Union. Continue reading

Communist Party USA: ‘Working with the Democratic Party’ is key

Communist goal 15 of 45 is nearly complete. It’s clear the Democrats have been already infiltrated, captured and redirected. All that’s left is to take off the mask and this article partly shows that coming to fruition. Lest we forget Allen West mentioned up to 80 House Democrats are members of the Communist Party.

John Bachtell, chairman of the National Committee of the Communist Party USA, said in a lengthy essay for “People’s World” that America needed a third political party committed to uphold labor — but until that time comes, communists ought to work with Democrats, especially in the coming elections.

Labor has already found a home with the Democratic Party, and the Communist Party would be hard-pressed to draw this voting bloc away at this time, Mr. Bachtell wrote on the “People’s World” website. Continue reading

The Most Important Press Conference Ever Held at Any Time in U.S. History: Part II

Opinions may differ, but allow the facts to aide you in coming to your own conclusion. There’s no question America is in trouble, and this is something every American should be reading. Click on the link below the hilighted portions for the article in full, per usual.

This is the sequel to the Part I exclusive published by Right Side News on Wednesday, August 1st.
In Part I, Trevor Loudon, who was among the first to expose Obama’s radicalism, exposes the relationship between President Obama and a high level, pro-Soviet operative, Alice Palmer, actively involved with known Soviet and communist front organizations at the height of the Cold War. She worked closely with the future U.S. president for several years, in the same socialist and communist networks that dominated the left side of Chicago politics…

Also in Part I of James Simpson’s report, speaker Konstantin Preobrazhensky, a KGB defector, explained in vivid detail how and why the Soviet Union became the real force behind Muslim terrorism, including al Qaeda. We continue with Part II by James Simpson.

The Most Important Press Conference Ever Held at Any Time in U.S. History: Part IICliff Kincaid of America’s Survival held the critical National Press Club event on July 19th: The Vetting: Obama, Radical Islam and the Soros Connection. At this pivotal time, we face a national election that may well determine the fate of our great country. And as America goes, so goes the world.

Thus, it is not an exaggeration to describe this as the most important press conference in U.S. history, because it explicitly details, with new facts and more evidence than ever presented in one place at one time, from extensive, highly credible sources, the dangerously extremist nature of President Obama and the true goals of his virulently anti-American, radical leftist administration.

Frank Marshall Davis’s Influence on Barack Obama

Paul Kengor is professor of political science at Grove City College and Executive Director of Grove City’s Center for Vision and Values. He is also a prolific author. His presentation at the Kincaid conference focused on his latest book, The Communist, Frank Marshall Davis: The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor. Other notable recent works include “The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism” and “Dupes: How America’s Adversaries Have Manipulated Progressives for a Century.”

In The Communist, Kengor delves deep into Davis’s past to produce an extensively documented biography of the man who had perhaps the most influence on Barack Obama of anyone in his life. Davis was a highly influential member of the American Communist Party, CPUSA member #47544, according to the FBI. He spent a lifetime engaged in pro-Soviet, communist activities. He likely moved to Hawaii to engage in surveillance for the Soviets, who considered the islands – not yet a U.S. state – of key military significance. Kengor shows just how deep Davis’s communist ties were, and how important he was to Obama’s worldview. Some highlights follow:

Weather Underground: White Reds Exploiting Blacks

Larry Grathwohl is the only FBI informant to successfully penetrate the Weather Underground (WU). He testified before several federal Grand Juries, the U.S. Senate, and at the Mark Felt/Ed Miller FBI trial. He wrote the 1976 book, Bringing Down America and now works with America’s Survival, Inc. to re-establish Congressional committees to investigate internal security problems. Larry continues to provide insights into this malevolent organization and its most famous members, Obama BFFs, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. At the Kincaid conference he presents his report, White Reds Exploiting Blacks: The Weather Underground, Barack Obama, and the Fundamental Transformation of the United States.

Larry started by relating that FBI background investigations used to apply something called the CARL standard. CARL stands for Character, Associates, Reputation and Loyalty. By that standard, President Obama fails on all counts, but in particular, his associates are damning evidence of an attitude irreconcilably hostile to America, the country he is supposed to be serving as the highest elected official in the land.

Those of us familiar with Bill Ayers know that he authored Prairie Fire, WU’s communist manifesto, and that it was dedicated to people including Bobby Kennedy’s killer, Sirhan Sirhan. Most people are unaware that Ayers was denied a position at

According to Grathwohl, Ayers once said that both Kennedy assassinations were a good thing. In his own words:

I remember one meeting when our Weatherman “collective” brought up the subject of the Kennedy assassinations. At least 20 to 25 people were present and Bill Ayers was one of them. I heard Bill state that the murders of both John F. Kennedy and Robert F Kennedy were a good thing because liberals compromise the conflict between U.S. imperialism and the socialist revolution. Liberals prevent the contradictions from becoming obvious and thus prevent a revolution. Therefore, the assassinations of the Kennedys were to be welcomed as a necessary advance on the road to communist world revolution.

In other words, if someone’s existence messes up the narrative, Ayers says get rid of him! Robert Kennedy’s son, Christopher, who sits on the board of the University of Illinois, saw to it that Ayers was denied “emeritus” status because of this. Kennedy said, “There can be no place in a democracy to celebrate political assassinations or to honor those who do.”

Bill Ayers, just a guy in the neighborhood… Nothing to see here, move along…

A Soviet front that exploited the black-white divide and the U.S. ‘leaders’ it published

Newly declassified documents from Operation SOLO, an FBI program to infiltrate the Communist Party of the United States, reveal that a journal called Freedomways, which was influential in the black community for decades, was subsidized by the Soviet and Chinese Communist Parties.

Freedomways has been called “one of the most influential African-American literary and political journals of the 1960s and 1970s.” It began in 1961 and ceased publication in 1986.

During the 25 years it served as a propaganda organ for the CPUSA and Soviet front organizations such as the World Peace Council, Freedomways published articles by such figures as:

  • Derrick Bell, one of Barack Obama’s academic mentors and a Harvard professor;
  • Martin Luther King, Jr., the slain civil rights leader who turned against the Vietnam War and has been honored with a national memorial in Washington, D.C.;
  • John Lewis, a Democratic member of Congress from Georgia and critic of the conservative Tea Party movement; and
  • Jesse Jackson, a former aide to King and Democratic candidate for president who has recently been stirring up racial resentment over the killing of black teenager Trayvon Martin.

Freedomways grew out of a Soviet campaign, launched after the Russian revolution, to exploit the “Negro question” in the U.S. and manipulate blacks and members of other minority groups for Communist purposes. The goal was a “Soviet America.”

In 1981, a communist-inspired Black Liberation Army, with the help of the Weather Underground, waged a campaign of terrorism and murder that resulted in the deaths of two police officers and a Brinks guard.

The SOLO documents demonstrate that the Soviet Union illegally provided funding, reportedly more than $28 million, to the CPUSA. The documents are based on FBI informants, Morris and Jack Childs, who had infiltrated the highest levels of the CPUSA and had participated in meetings with foreign communist parties.

President Ronald Reagan awarded Morris Childs (and posthumously, Jack) with the Presidential Medal of Freedom for their work for the U.S.

Freedomways was so extreme that it ran a notice hailing Angela Davis as a “courageous Black woman leader” when she went on trial for murder. Davis, who beat the murder rap, became a prominent CPUSA official and college professor at the University of California at Santa Cruz. She later started an anti-prison project, Critical Resistance, funded by the Open Society Institute of billionaire George Soros.

Despite his reputation as a moderate, Martin Luther King, Jr. paid tribute to W.E.B. Du Bois, who himself joined the CPUSA in 1961, at an event sponsored by Freedomways in New York City.

One of King’s closest advisers was Freedomways editor J.H. O’Dell, also known as Hunter Pitts O’Dell, a secret member of the CPUSA who would later join Jesse Jackson’s Operation PUSH. Another King adviser was New York attorney Stanley Levison, who had been involved in Communist Party financial affairs and was helping to arrange funding of the party by Moscow. He had recommended O’Dell to King.

The Kennedy brothers, President John F. Kennedy and Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, had warned Martin Luther King, Jr. against associating with communists. He ignored their warnings.

Jesse Jackson, one of King’s aides and considered by some to be King’s successor as the nation’s premier civil rights activist, was hailed by Freedomways as a “nationally known Freedom Fighter” when it ran his 1972 article on “Three Challenges to Organized Labor.”

Rep. Lewis, regarded by many as a civil rights icon like Martin Luther King, Jr., wrote a 1965 Freedomways article, “Paul Robeson: Inspirer of Youth,” about the famous actor and singer who had been a member of the CPUSA and admirer of Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin.

“He [Robeson] talked and listened to the representatives of the Communist Party,” wrote Lewis, then national chairman of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC). “In many ways,” he wrote, “we of SNCC are Paul Robeson’s spiritual children.”

In fact, former CPUSA official Manning Johnson testified in 1949 that that he saw Robeson “a number of times in the headquarters” of the CPUSA and that Robeson was, in fact, a party member. Johnson said Robeson wanted to be “the Black Stalin among Negroes.”

“Paul’s assignment was to work among the intellectuals, the professionals, and artists that the party was seeking to penetrate and influence along Communist lines,” Johnson testified.

Rep. Lewis become famous in his own right, since his days with SNCC, when he and his Congressional Black Caucus colleagues claimed in 2010 the N-word was “shouted” at him by Tea Party members, when no camera recorded anything of the sort. Andrew Breitbart had promised $100,000 to anyone who could prove the epithets had been used.

For many years, black groups such as the NAACP were bitter foes of the CPUSA, knowing that its politics were divisive and not designed to foster racial harmony. NAACP official Herbert Hill wrote a famous article, “The Communist Party — Enemy of Negro Equality.”

When Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis tried to stage a takeover of the Hawaii NAACP in 1949, the organization fought back, saying it did not want “unity” with the communists. Davis, who had moved from Chicago to Hawaii at the suggestion of Paul Robeson, was Barack Obama’s mentor for eight years in Hawaii before Obama went off to college.

In 1949, Jackie Robinson, the first black player in baseball, testified before the House Committee on Un-American Activities in opposition to communist manipulation of blacks. He said Robeson’s statement about blacks loving the Soviet Union was “silly” and added, “We can win our fight without the Communists and we don’t want their help.”

But Freedomways, the communists and their fellow-travelers continued to make inroads in the black community.

Other writers for Freedomways included:

  • Entertainer Harry Belafonte, a fundraiser for Elizabeth Warren in her Massachusetts Senate race;
  • Julian Bond, former chairman of the NAACP and current member of the board of the Southern Poverty Law Center;
  • Howard Zinn, the leftist “historian” and CPUSA member;
  • Rep. John Conyers; and
  • Then-Rep. Ronald V. Dellums, described by the publication as being “in the forefront of the New Breed of young Congressmen who are a clear voice for the kind of basic social changes the United States needs.”

The FBI says that Operation SOLO was launched because “America’s growing realization of the penetration of the U.S. government by the Soviets and the subsequent political debate over the role of communism in society became the focus of the day.”It would appear that some of the documents, viewed in light of current events, demonstrate a lasting impact by the Communists on many black leaders, including Obama himself.
