Germany is currently on high alert after two Islamist assaults

GERMAN authorities are considering reintroducing conscription in the event of a national emergency.

A new paper on civil defence says drafting in civilians to boost the armed forces would be necessary in times of national crisis, including an incursion by an enemy state on NATO territory.

Germany’s controversial new Civil Defence Concept, which will be debated by MPs tomorrow, raises the prospect of a return to conscription after it was dropped in 2011. Continue reading

Russian calls for Cold War civil defense training to be revived

Have you ever wondered with all the recent events within the last year, how close we are to another world war? Civil defense preparations are a clear sign.

Christopher Ruddy (Edit) JR Nyquist once gave us 11 signs that Russia was preparing for a surprise nuclear attack. JR Nyquist has continually for years now warned about a surprise Russian nuclear attack on the American homeland. Now that Obama is suicidally disarming the country these points don’t seem all that laughable.

While Russia steadily continues its preparations, we shouldn’t forget its southern neighbor, China. This year they have announced that 172,000 civilian vessels will be mobilized in case a ‘national emergency’ breaks out — meaning war. This coincides exactly with their announced preparations for a strike on America in March of 2000. Not to limit themselves to the Chinese mainland, former Chinese general Xu Guangyu, had suggested in 2010 that China was preparing for a surprise missile attack on America.

Meanwhile, in America, it’s still shop until you drop. Where’s the Pentagon? Silent.

During each and every day that passes by, remember who you should thank for the rise of Russia and China and destruction of America. Sadly, they’re two of quite a few who have aided America’s adversaries. The same family in the White House in 2017 will be a grave mistake — if America even makes it that far. It’s not a game anymore and you can laugh all you want at these notions, but to your own detriment.

Russia’s authorities should revive the old Cold War practice of training civilians on how to respond in the event of a large-scale nuclear attack, a senior government official said on Friday.

Speaking after a meeting of Russia’s Security Council chaired by President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Rogozin, the deputy prime minister in charge the defense industry, said the United States was upsetting the nuclear balance by developing new weapons systems. Continue reading

War Preparation Indicator — Beijing hardens subways for nuclear, gas attacks

China recently upgraded its subway system in Beijing and revealed that its mass transit was hardened to withstand nuclear blasts or chemical gas attacks in a future war, state-run media reported last month.

The disclosure of the military aspects of the underground rail system followed completion and opening of a new subway line in the Chinese capital Dec. 30, along with the extension of several other lines. The subway upgrade is part of an effort to ease gridlocked traffic in the city of 20 million people.

According to Chinese civil defense officials quoted Dec. 5 in the Global Times, a newspaper published by the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee, the subway can “withstand a nuclear or poison gas attack.” Continue reading
