Construction will soon begin of the Main Church of the Armed Forces, to be erected in Patriot Park outside Moscow, according to Colonel General Andrei Kartapolov, deputy defense minister and chief of the armed forces’ Main Military-Political Directorate, a new organization responsible for political education of the troops.

The chairman of the Patriarchal Commission on Family Matters, and the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood, archpriest Dmitri Smirnov, predicted that Europe with turn Muslim in 30 years, while Russia will turn to Islam in maybe 50 years. According to the Russian Orthodox archpriest, Christians will be persecuted and will live in semi-underground. Smirnov said that Islam will prevail in the West, because Muslims are ready to sacrifice themselves in order to fight for their own values, while Westerners are just “exhausted sick people, as good as dead.”

“The chairman of the Patriarchal Commission on Family Matters, and the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood, archpriest Dmitri Smirnov, predicts the imminent demise of Christian Civilization. ‘There is very little time left until the death of the entire Christian Civilization. Several decades, perhaps 30 years, well, maybe in Russia it will last 50, no longer,’ the priest told [Russia’s] Soyuz TV channel.

• This is how the minds of Islamic supremacists seem to work: If you want churches to remain churches, it means you are “disturbed by the Koran or Islamic prayers,” and you disrespect or “insult” Islam. According to Islamic scriptures, those who “insult” Islam or its prophet Muhammad are to be executed.
• So if one wants to survive under Islamic rule, one has to submit to Islam and accept one’s own inferior status. There is apparently no place for diversity or civilized, equal coexistence of Muslims and non-Muslims in Islamic nations.

• The West did not protect Anatolian Christians during the 1914-1923 genocide. It does not seem as if the West will protect Europe against what seems to be the current bloodless Muslim invasion, either.

The process of converting the historic Hagia Sophia church-then-museum in Istanbul into a mosque, in the works for the past three years, now seems to have been finalized.

ISIS Blows Up Church Of The Virgin Mary In Mosul As Terrorist Group ‘Aims To Wipe Out Christianity’

ISIS is continuing its attack on Christians in Iraq after blowing up the Virgin Mary Church in Mosul, which had once served as a sanctuary for the remaining Christians in the region.

A source said the attack took place this weekend in Iraq’s Nineveh province. Sources say the group used improvised explosive devices to blow up the church, which had been used by the terrorist group to house some leaders of European, Arab, and East Asian origin.

“On Thursday evening, elements of the ISIS group detonated the Virgin Mary Church north of Mosul using improvised explosive devices,” a source told IraqiNews.

The Lost Context of the Economic Crisis

The economic crisis worsens. The news presents us with markers, signs and symptoms. The situation spirals gradually, downward, toward a point of no return. China’s war against the U.S. dollar continues pushing one nation after another to bypass trading in dollars. We see, as well, that China Moves to Further Marginalize the Dollar just as China Leads a Campaign to Replace the Dollar as [the World’s] Reserve Currency. It is no accident that China pursues a national strategy hostile to American financial interests. To supplant a great financial power one must take certain actions and follow a definite path. So what is the American side doing to protect its position? America is doing very little. America is, in fact, lost in a wilderness of self-inspired trivialities and entertainments. We no longer appear to know which end is up.

Pope Benedict XVI in shock resignation
