EU Prepares to Criminalize Pro-Life Views

A report approved by the European Parliament this week could lead to the criminalization of pro-life activities.

The European Parliament has approved a report that claims reducing access to abortion is “violence against women and girls” and calls upon all member states to “guarantee abortion access.” Continue reading

Hungary’s Leader: EU and Soros Seek to “Muslimize” Europe

BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — European Union leaders and Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros are seeking a “new, mixed, Muslimized Europe,” Hungary’s anti-migration prime minister said Saturday.

Prime Minister Viktor Orban said during a visit to Romania that Hungary’s border fences, supported by other Central European countries, will block the EU-Soros effort to increase Muslim migration into Europe. Continue reading

New Ontario Law Enables Gov’t to Seize Children from Parents Opposing Gender Transition

The Canadian government may legally remove children from families that refuse to accept their child’s chosen “gender identity” thanks to new legislation passed by the Ontario province.

Bill 89, “Supporting Children, Youth and Families Act, 2017,” was approved on June 1 by a vote of 63 to 23.

The Minister of Children and Youth Services, Michael Coteau, who introduced the bill, said earlier this year that a parent’s failure to recognize and support a child’s gender self-identification is a form of child abuse, and a child in these circumstances should be removed from the situation and placed into protection. The Years of Terror (I)

LONDON/BERLIN/RIYADH (Own report) – With its continued worldwide support for Salafis, Germany’s close partner, Saudi Arabia, is relentlessly fertilizing the soil for the growth of jihadi terror, according to the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP). “The consequences of Saudi Arabia’s support for Salafism are catastrophic,” the SWP concludes in light of IS/Daesh activities in Europe. British experts are also sharply criticizing cooperation with Riyadh. If one seriously wants to combat jihadi terror, one “should start by stopping the mass export of Wahhabism’s intolerance and hatred from Saudi Arabia,” an insider recommends. This is, however, countered by Germany, other European powers and North America’s relentless cooperation with the Saudi ruling clan. Just a few weeks ago, Chancellor Angela Merkel launched regular military cooperation with the Saudi armed forces. Out of consideration for Riyadh, the British government has been withholding an investigation, showing the – presumably Saudi – financiers of British jihadis. This had been made known only three days before the latest terror attack in London.

Russian Orthodox Prelate Predicts: Europe Will Turn Muslim In 30 Years, Russia In 50

Russian Orthodox Archpriest Dmitri Smirnov (Pravoslavie.ru)

The chairman of the Patriarchal Commission on Family Matters, and the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood, archpriest Dmitri Smirnov, predicted that Europe with turn Muslim in 30 years, while Russia will turn to Islam in maybe 50 years. According to the Russian Orthodox archpriest, Christians will be persecuted and will live in semi-underground. Smirnov said that Islam will prevail in the West, because Muslims are ready to sacrifice themselves in order to fight for their own values, while Westerners are just “exhausted sick people, as good as dead.”

Below are excerpts from Smirnov’s statement: [1]

‘There Is Very Little Time Left Until The Death Of The Entire Christian Civilization’

“The chairman of the Patriarchal Commission on Family Matters, and the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood, archpriest Dmitri Smirnov, predicts the imminent demise of Christian Civilization. ‘There is very little time left until the death of the entire Christian Civilization. Several decades, perhaps 30 years, well, maybe in Russia it will last 50, no longer,’ the priest told [Russia’s] Soyuz TV channel. Continue reading

It’s time to acknowledge the war on Christianity

Why do Westerners behave oddly when it’s Christians being murdered abroad? Photo: Fairfax Media

We live in an age of martyrs. Also, an age of wilful ignorance. When Christians are killed for being Christians, politicians overlook it and public interest fades.

Those few of us in the West who still go to church don’t realise how lucky we are. Others are dying for the right to do that.

On Palm Sunday two bombings in Egyptian churches killed at least 44 people. The targets were Coptic Christians.

In one case, the bomb was situated at the front of the church, tearing through pews and bodies. Continue reading

Soros-funded network backing legal challenges to Trump’s immigration order

George Soros

The Open Society Foundations, founded by leftist billionaire George Soros, is bankrolling a number of organizations that have filed legal challenges to President Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration from seven Muslim-majority nations.

“Leftists have no regard for the security and well-being of the American people. To the contrary, they have been busy filing lawsuits around the country in an attempt to thwart the president’s attempt to keep Americans safe from radical Islamic terrorists. And Soros is keeping the money train going,” Joseph Klein wrote for FrontPage Mag on Feb. 7. Continue reading

Priest: Muslim Migrants Ruthlessly Bully Christian Kids

DANIEL ROLAND/AFP/Getty Images

58-year-old Catholic priest Andreas Knapp stated that the majority of migrant youths he supports in his study club are Muslim but reports that the Christian minority is being actively persecuted by Muslim children, reports German radio broadcaster Deutschlandradio Kultur.

In one case, a Christian boy was so grievously bullied by Muslim classmates at a school for integration that he had to change schools.  He said the Muslim children were “disrespectful” of Christians and that they even “hated” Christians who had come from the Middle East. Continue reading

Iraq (MNN) — Iraqi forces continued a slow-but-steady advance in more of Mosul’s eastern districts last week, according to The Washington Post. Several eastern areas of Mosul have already been liberated from ISIS’ grip. But the whole city’s freedom could still take months to secure.

Emily Fuentes with Open Doors USA says some displaced families from Mosul are trying to decide if and when they should return to the secured districts. Continue reading

UNESCO Wants to Stop Archaeology in Ancient Jerusalem

In a series of resolutions, UNESCO has threatened the future of archaeological discovery in one of the world’s most important cities.

Often while working just below the Southern Wall of the Temple Mount over the past few years, I’d look up from the dirt and notice a camera crew setting up. They did not seem to be Jews, but rather reporters from Palestinian news crews. Unlike most others who walked past the dig site, these journalists would rarely ask questions about what we were finding or what we were doing digging there. Instead, they would simply set up their cameras in a particular location. There, with one simple pan upward, they could tape the excavation site along with the black dome of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the background. After a few more minutes and a few more shots, they’d pack their gear and head back up the street. There wasn’t any need to ask questions or to investigate further; they already had their story: The Jews are trying to undermine Al-Aqsa. Continue reading

Satanic Temple YES, Ten Commandments NO?

https://i1.wp.com/static.trunews.com/images/Satanic-Temple-Statue-Reuters.jpg

A Satanic Temple opens its doors in Massachusetts proud to display their “religious” symbols! But removing the Ten Commandments is OK?

  • With up to 50,000 members in chapters around the world, TST has garnered colossal media attention in the last three years.
  • Outside of New England, TST has taken legal action against the placement of edifices of the Ten Commandments in civic settings, including statehouses.
  • The Satanist group has intervened in various school districts to contest prayer or challenge Christian clubs.
  • Salem is headquarters to this Anti Christian group.

Christians in Nigeria, Under Continuous Attack

Christians in Nigeria under Constant Attack, Officials Seem to downplay the religious component of persecution.

  • Over 20,000 Christian families have been displaced.
  • Government officials do not clearly identify Christians as targets in an anti-Christianity agenda.
  • The Nigeria Conflict and Security Analysis Network unearths an agenda composed of systemic attacks.

Eastern Europe: The Last Barrier between Christianity and Islam

  • Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is the Eastern nemesis of the European elite. No one else in Europe except him speaks about defending “Christianity.”
  • “Those arriving have been raised in another religion, and represent a radically different culture. Most of them are not Christians, but Muslims … This is an important question, because Europe and the European identity is rooted in Christianity.” — Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
  • The last chance to save Europe’s roots might well come from the former communist members of the EU — those who defeated the Ottomans in 1699 and now feel culturally threatened by their heirs.
  • Cypriots know much better than the comfortable bureaucrats of Brussels the consequences of a cultural collision. Ask about their churches on the Turkish side of the island; how many of them are still standing?

Austria’s fate is now at stake.

Perhaps it was a coincidence that Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, Archbishop of Vienna and tipped to be the next Pope, chose September 12, the anniversary of the Siege of Vienna, when Turkey’s Ottoman troops nearly conquered Europe, to deliver a most dramatic appeal to save Europe’s Christian roots.

Sweden: Who Do Christian Leaders Serve?

Christian leaders in Sweden have re-made Christianity into a religion that serves the political agenda of an establishment whose extreme liberal ideology lacks popular support. Left: Sweden’s Crown Princess, King, Archbishop Antje Jackelén, and the Queen pose after the archiepiscopal ordination of Jackelén on June 15, 2014 (Image source: Church of Sweden). Right: Influential Swedish Christian pastor Stefan Swärd co-wrote the book Jesus Was Also a Refugee, which advocates for a policy of no immigration restrictions; rich countries have to open their borders simply because they are rich countries.

  • In Swedish Christianity, Jesus has been reduced from being the son of God, to an activist fighting for multiculturalism and open borders. According to Archbishop Antje Jackelén of the Church of Sweden, Jesus has clear political positions on both migration and integration policies.
  • According to a senior official in the Church of Sweden, the call to wear a cross to show solidarity with persecuted Christians is “un-Christian”.
  • One might describe the Swedish Christianity as a new religion that worships multiculturalism and leftist values in general.
  • “The leadership of the Church of Sweden no longer wants to lead a Christian community; they want to lead a general ethical association for humanistic values.” — Ann Heberlein, doctor of theology and lecturer at Lund University.
  • One can have different interpretations of what Jesus did or what opinions he had, but we can all agree that he did not serve the Emperor or other earthly rulers. Too many Christian leaders in Sweden have become the servants of earthly rulers by conveying the message of the political establishment in Sweden. Continue reading

Western Democracy Gone Mad

For decades, but especially following the U.S. overthrow of the Taliban in Afghanistan in 2001 and the invasion and occupation of Iraq in 2003, the U.S. government has tried to promote the establishment of democracies in the Middle East, North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, and elsewhere around the globe.

This should come as no surprise.  Centers for the Study of Democracy have become an integral feature of universities throughout the United States and Western Europe.  They replaced older schools of realpolitik that used to be taught.  Professors, politicians, and international organizations aggressively promote the doctrine of democracy.
